The July 4 episode of Friday Night Smackdown will not be
live and instead will be taped on Monday, June 30
immediately following the conclusion of Raw.
The shows will be held at the PPG Paints Arena in
Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and it was the arena which
announced the news.
“Breaking News: Our previously scheduled WWE Monday Night
Raw will now include Friday Night SmackDown on June 30th
right here in Pittsburgh! TWO SHOWS, ONE NIGHT! Get your
tickets now,” the post on X read.
Tickets for this show are available on Ticketmaster.com
starting from $74 with fees before taxes. It is far from
being sold out but the double taping should help with the
additional appearances of other WWE Superstars.
There was not a separate event for the Independence Day
episode of Smackdown prior to this announcement. With July 4
being a big holiday in the United States, it made sense to
move this to a few days prior.
