ZOEY STARK: Zoey Stark suffers knee injury during triple threat match

Posted on 5/20/125 by Colin Vassallo

Zoey Stark had to abandon her spot in the triple threat
Money In The Bank qualifying match last night on Raw after
she suffered a very serious knee injury.

The injury came after Stark tried a missile dropkick from
the top rope on Kairi Sane but she landed on her knee. The
spot was mistimed, with Stark jumping a bit earlier and Sane
turning late, almost causing the bottom part of her leg to
snap in half.

Both Ripley and Sane immediately realized something was
wrong, as did the referee. The match was paused briefly as a
WWE doctor slid in the ring to check on Stark. She was
rolled out of the ring but unable to move, the doctor simply
lifted her and walked to the back to applause from the
crowd.

The match continued as a one-on-one, with Ripley eventually
advancing after pinning the returning Kairi Sane.

It’s a rather unfortunate situation for Stark, who was
wrestling her first match on Raw since January 20. She has
mainly wrestled on Speed and Main Event over the last
several months and her last match was against Maxxine Dupri
on Main Event on May 5.

Several of her peers took to X to wish her a speedy recovery
as the injury looks like it will keep her out of action for
months to come.
