As expected, Mercedes Mone has booked her place in the final
of the women’s Owen Hart Cup tournament.
The former AEW TBS champion defeated Stardom’s Hazuki in the
semi final yesterday on Dynamite, becoming the first finalist.
She now faces the winner of the Athena vs Maya World semi
final which takes place on Collision.
The winner of the tournament at Forbidden Door will then earn
an AEW Women’s title shot at All In in Wembley Stadium in
August.
Mone won last year’s tournament but failed to win the title.
