Independent wrestler Jordan Saint, known to fans as “Black
Flash” Jordan Saint, died Friday after a head-on crash on
Long Island. He was 23.
Saint, whose real name was Jordan Nasir St. Fort Colin, was
driving a 2012 Nissan Altima on the Bethpage State Parkway
when a 2019 Hyundai Sonata crossed over the double yellow
line and struck his vehicle head-on, according to New York
State Police. The crash happened around 9:30 a.m. Friday and
closed the parkway in both directions for several hours.
The driver of the Hyundai was taken to a hospital with
serious injuries. Police said there were no passengers in
either vehicle.
Saint was from Patchogue, New York, and had been part of the
independent wrestling scene since 2022. Naptown All-Pro
Wrestling said he had been involved with the promotion since
2023 and had loved wrestling for most of his life.
He wrestled as “Black Flash” Jordan Saint and had recently
returned to the ring after time away. In January, he
announced his return to wrestling, writing, “Professional
wrestling was the only real love of my life. I didn’t want
to step away, but life lifed.”
Saint later appeared at Shooting Star Fest in Las Vegas
during WrestleMania week and had been scheduled to appear at
Pandemonium: Pro Wrestling’s Burst and Decay event Aug. 2 in
Austin, Texas.
Pandemonium announced Saint’s death in a tribute Sunday.
“Jordan was a very talented wrestler but those that knew
him, know that he was truly an unbelievable human,” the
promotion wrote. “Nobody I’ve ever come across has loved pro
wrestling more than Jordan Saint.”
Naptown All-Pro Wrestling also paid tribute to Saint.
“Hardheaded & dedicated to his craft, Jordan was quick to
soak up knowledge,” the promotion wrote. “Combined with his
superb athleticism, he took to all aspects of in-ring
competition lightning fast. A true diamond-tier prospect,
we’re heartbroken to know we won’t see his full potential
achieved.”
TNA wrestler Bear Bronson wrote that Saint’s death “broke my
heart.”
“This dude was ALWAYS smiling,” Bronson wrote. “ALWAYS
happy, ALWAYS so polite. And man, did he have incredible
ability that blew away everyone in the room. He loved
learning & absorbing information. A beautiful soul gone way,
way too soon.”
