Shawn Michaels announced that NXT’s The Great American Bash
will take place on Sunday, June 28.
This will be the first NXT premium live event to air on The
CW Network and will have a special start time of 7PM ET.
Internationally, the show will air on Netflix.
The show will go head-to-head with AEW’s Forbidden Door pay-
per-view, which is also slated for June 28 but starting an
hour later at 8PM ET.
On April 28, WWE and The CW announced that all NXT PLEs
would now air exclusively on The CW as part of an expanded
agreement. The following day, The CW announced a partnership
with ESPN where all sports programming, including NXT, would
also be available on the ESPN app with unlimited plan.
The Great American Bash 2026 will be held at the WWE
Performance Center in Orlando, Florida.
