A Survival of the Fittest match will determine the next AEW
TBS champion, with the company using the ROH gimmick match for
the first time on AEW television.
Announced last night by Tony Schiavone, qualifying matches
will be held over the next several weeks to determine who will
be part of this match.
The match will be held on Dynamite live from San Diego,
California on Wednesday, July 1.
The TBS title is currently vacant after Willow Nightingale had
to surrender the belt due to an injury. She held on to it for
140 days, winning it from Mercedes Mone.
