The King and Queen of the Ring tournaments will return to
WWE television starting next week, with the first tournament
matches set to kick off on Raw.
The announcement was done by LA Knight during Raw yesterday,
also revealing that the winners of each tournament will
receive a title match. No participants were announced but
Knight made it clear that he will be part of it.
Last year’s winners of the King and Queen of the Ring
tournaments – Cody Rhodes and Jade Cargill – each earned a
title shot at SummerSlam.
The first matches will take place from Turin, Italy, just 48
hours following the Clash in Italy premium live event. The
show airs at a special start time of 2PM ET on Netflix.
