So much for dying promotions being proclaimed by disgraced
former agents....and opposition executives who have more
than a few problems of their own for real, such as TKO
President and COO Mark Shapiro admitting that holding
WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas was a “mistake” and his fault.

Double or Nothing 2026 officially sold-out Sunday, with
14,030 at the Louis Armstrong Stadium in Flushing, NY,
making it the second most-attended Double or Nothing, behind
only the 2022 edition which had just over 14,500.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that Double or
Nothing was the second largest gate for an AEW show in the
United States, behind ALL IN Texas with a larger crowd due
to the larger venue at 1.5 million dollars. It was fourth
overall in AEW gate revenue behind the two All In shows in
Wembley from 2023 and 2024.

AEW is continuing the practice of seeking out unique sites
for shows, announcing a Beach Break themed Dynamite will be
held on, July 8 in Clearwater Beach, FL; taking place at The
BayCare Sound at Coachman Park outdoor, waterfront boutique
concert venue with covered seating for 4,000, with lawn
space for an additional 5,000 in Clearwater's Coachman Park,
facing the Gulf of Mexico.

Speaking of unique environments, an MLB game and All Elite
Wrestling have teamed up with the Minnesota Twins and AEW
announcing Brawl in the Ballpark — a post game event on
Friday, July 10 at Target Field. Brawl admission is free
with a ticket to that night’s 7:10 p.m. CT to the Twins vs.
Los Angeles Angels game. Various special ticket packages —
including an exclusive Twins/AEW Lucha mask hat and VIP
ringside access — are on sale now at the Twins website

Featuring AEW and Ring of Honor stars, Brawl in the Ballpark
will begin shortly after the Twins-Angels game concludes and
will last approximately 75 minutes. The Brawl will take
place in a specially constructed wrestling ring located
inside Target Field’s Gate 34 area.

“We’re excited to partner with AEW to bring a one-of-a-
kind night to Target Field on July 10,”
said club
Executive Vice President, Chief Revenue Officer Sean Moore.
“This collaboration is part of our ongoing efforts to
create memorable, fan-first experiences that give people
even more reasons to enjoy a visit to our ballpark.”

AEW, Warner Brothers Discovery and TikTok are launching the
first ever TikTok AEW pre-show entitled AEW Advance, prior
to this week's Dynamite from 6-7 p.m. ET on TikTok. Arkady
Aura and Lexy Nair will "give fans an interactive behind
the scenes look at the energy, personalities, and buildup,
prior to Dynamite going on air"

It's notable that TikTok is 80% owned by Larry Ellison,
whose brother is the owner of Paramount Skydance, likely
future broadcast partner of AEW.

MyAEW is expanding and added 1FW, an indie promotion based
in Atlanta, Georgia, to its streaming service. The promotion
is owned by one of AEW’s own, QT Marshall. All the episodes
from the 1FW weekly broadcast are now available to stream
for MyAEW subscribers effective this past Wednesday. This
had been announced pretty much out of nowhere on the 1FW
Twitter account last with a tweet, which began with what was
termed "An Elite announcement.”  The tweet indicated “Go
check us out on the new @aew #myaew app watch every episode
of #1FW featuring the roster of 1FW and huge names from AEW
and @ringofhonor available now,”

Then, during this morning's post-Double Or Nothing media
scrum, Tony Kahn made an interesting comment on that
addition to the service. "MyAEW is primarily focused on
international but we do have the domestic service, and it
has a lot of great content and we plan to feature wrestling
from multiple promotions. We’ve just added QT’s great
promotion, we have 1 Fall Wrestling now but we’re looking to
add more promotions to MyAEW and make it a hub for pro
wrestling all over the world… Of course, for a lot of fans,
it’s already become a great destination. It’s been a key
part of our international strategy but also here in the US.
There’s great promotions that we can make available on MyAEW
and still we have all of our focus here pushed towards HBO
Max and Warner Brothers Discovery.
