WWE BUSINESS: Report says WWE and Indiana Sports Corp closing in on major multi-event PLE deal

The often-reliable @WrestleVotes X account is reporting that
WWE and Indiana Sports Corp are in the final stages to bring
the 2025 Royal Rumble and a future WrestleMania and
SummerSlam to the Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.

The 2025 Royal Rumble proposed date is February 1 and that
would make it the first-ever Royal Rumble in the month of
February.

The city of Indianapolis has not hosted a WrestleMania since
WrestleMania 8 in 1992 at the Hoosier Dome, an event
remembered for Macho Man Randy Savage winning the WWF title
from Ric Flair and The Ultimate Warrior returning to save
Hulk Hogan from Sid and Papa Shango.

Indianapolis also hosted SummerSlam in 2008 but has not held
a Royal Rumble.

If this turns out to be happening it means that the city is
coughing up probably millions of dollars as a site fee for
each event, something that WWE is working on to get for
every premium live event they have.
