Smackdown is live from Philadelphia on this WrestleMania
weekend. Kevin Owens is announced first for the opening
segment to host his KO Show.
Kevin announces his guest, Randy Orton. Logan Paul
interrupted the interview from Lincoln Financial Field.
Logan called the fans and Kevin and Randy, idiots. Kevin
said this guy talks a lot of trash for a guy who is only
right across the street. As Kevin and Randy leave to go
after Logan, Grayson Waller and Austin Theory crawl out from
under the ring.
Out in the parking lot, Randy can’t get in the car, Kevin
pulls up on a golf cart and they take off as Waller and
Theory run after them.
The Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal
To begin, Pretty Deadly go after Omos and Kit Wilson was
sent flying over the rope by Omos and Elton Prince just
jumped over the top rope on his own and ran to the back with
his partner.
The end comes down to Big Bronson Reed and Ivar after Ivar
eliminated both Akira Tozawa and Otis.
Ivar misses with the moonsault, and Reed hits him with a
rolling senton and clotheslines Ivar over the top rope.
Winner: Big Bronson Reed
Karrion Kross says he started this fight with Bobby Lashley
to get him a spot on WrestleMania since they did not have
one last year.
Logan Paul made his way to the ring. Paul trash talks
Philadelphia, Orton and Owens. He says his associates Waller
and Theory are going to ambush and beat down Orton and Owens
right now. We then see Waller and Theory looking for Orton
and Owens at Lincoln Financial Field but can’t find them.
Just then Orton and Owens climb out from under the ring
where Logan is standing in. Paul tries to run but Kevin
catches him and throws him into Randy who gives him an upper
cut and Owens hits the stunner as Randy sets up for RKO.
Owens helps Paul up and spins him into Randy to hit the RKO.
In the back Dragon Lee is laid out. Carlito yelled for help
and did not know who did it.
Zelina Vega VS. Elektra Lopez
Zelina hit the DDT and went for the pin, but Dominik got on
the apron and Zelina smacks him. Rey pulls him down as
Zelina turns around Lopez hits her with a slam and pins her.
Winner: Elektra Lopez
After the match, Dominik and Santos attack Rey and Santos
pushes Andrade to go get Rey but as Santos tries to pull
Rey’s mask off, Andrade clotheslines Dominik, then kicks
Santos and throws him over the top rope. As Rey staggers to
his feet, he is greeted by a handshake by Andrade and a hug
and Zelina gives him a big hug as they stand in the middle
of the ring.
Naomi and Bianca Belair are in the ring to talk about their
match against Damage Control at WrestleMania. They soon
introduced their tag team partner for this weekend’s match
Jade Gargill.
Jey Uso is shown getting ready for his match with his
brother Solo tonight and Jimmy tomorrow night.
Rey is shown talking to Andrade and Zelina and a referee
came in and said Dragon Lee will not be able to be medically
able to compete tomorrow and Andrade said he will be his
partner.
New Catch Republic VS. Grayson Waller & Austin Theory
Bate and Dunne hit his finisher on Waller for the win.
Winners: New Catch Republic
The New Catch Republic are immediately attacked by the
Judgment Day who also attack Theory.
Bayley is next shown talking about her career and how and
why she started Damage Control. She then talked about her
match against Iyo this weekend.
LA Knight is next to the ring. LA gets a massive ovation and
talks trash about AJ Styles and what he’s going to do to him
at WrestleMania.
Bobby Lashley, B-Fab and the Street Profits talk about their
match with Karrion Kross and the AOP in a Philadelphia
Street fight.
Main Event Jey Uso VS. Solo Sikoa
As Jey went for the win, Jimmy Uso came out and attacked
Jey. They double team Jey but Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins
come out to help Jey. Cody then took his weight belt and
beat Jimmy and Solo like the Rock did to him and Seth on
Raw.
As Jimmy tries to leave, Jey catches him and throws him back
in the ring. Cody hit Crossroads on Jimmy, then Seth hit
Jimmy with the belt and Jey splashes his brother.
Cody gets a microphone. Cody says 40 years of WrestleMania,
can you feel that? Cody says he and Seth are going to slap
the Final Boss so hard he is going to remember how to be the
People’s Champion and then on Sunday he is going to dethrone
Roman Reigns. And Sunday, when one good story ends an even
better one begins.
