The Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal will be returning
during WrestleMania weekend and just like it has been in the
past few years, the battle royal will be part of the
Smackdown on the eve of night one of WrestleMania.
The match was introduced in 2014 as part of the actual
premium live event but in 2021 it was moved to Smackdown the
night before. Bobby Lashley won the last one, eliminating
Bronson Reed.
Among the nine winners of the battle royal, five of them are
no longer with the company and one was sent back to NXT.
A short-lived women’s WrestleMania battle royal was also
introduced in 2018 and but it was held only twice. Naomi and
Carmella are the only two winners.
