Wrestling figure collector and podcast host Kyle Peterson
said on his YouTube show that the team working on AEW action
figures at Jazwares were all laid off this past week.
“Late Friday I got word that the entire AEW Jazwares team
over there at Jazwires were laid off,” he said, adding there
was writing on the wall as speculation mounted if the
relationship between the two companies was coming to an end.
“By eliminating that entire team at Jazwares, I think the
answer is out there: AEW/Jazwares line is officially done,”
he added.
He said that there could be three or four new action figures
which were in the pipeline released “but for all intents and
purposes, the relationship is done.”
Jazwares has been producing AEW action figures since 2020.
