Kairi Sane broke her silence on social media, commenting for
the first time since her WWE release this past Friday.
There has been a lot of speculation regarding her departure,
speculation that Sane also admitted to. One particular
industry insider suggested that it was Sane who showed
interest in returning to Japan and actually wanted to go
back home.
“What I can say is I know there’s been a lot of speculation,
but I truly love this work, my teammates, and my fans,” Sane
wrote in a post on X. “I’ve never walked away, and I’ve
given my all in everything I do.”
When Sane decided to leave WWE several years ago, it was her
decision to go back home to be with her family.
The Pirate Princess has been on WWE television weekly in an
angle with Asuka which made her release even more baffling
than the others.
