Dakota Kai is undergoing knee surgery
today to repair a torn ACL, an injury
she suffered two weeks ago.
Kai, one third of Damage CTRL, got
injured in her match along with Bayley
against Raquel Rodriguez and Liv Morgan
who were the WWE Women’s Tag Team
champions at the time. The same match
also saw Liv Morgan suffer a shoulder
injury which is going to keep her out
for a while and required the titles to
be vacated.
Bayley sent her well wishes to Kai in a
post on social media. “We love you. We
miss you. And we’ve got your back
through it all,” she wrote. “You’re
truly one of the best and you sacrificed
your body for US, I will never forget
that. Can’t wait to have you back.”
