X data (tweets) since April 1st on which match wrestling
fans are most excited to witness at WrestleMania 42.
Over 142,000 tweets were tracked and there is one clear
winner… Oba Femi vs Brock Lesnar.
I would credit the interest of this match due to the build-
up, but that logic wouldn’t carry over to the second most
anticipated match which is Seth Rollins vs Gunther. That
match has had very little build-up but it’s one fans are
clamoring to watch.
Here are some other things that caught my eye from this
infograph:
The most anticipated women’s match is Liv Morgan vs
Stephanie Vaquer.
The least anticipated match is the women’s Fatal Four-Way
tag team championship match.
The intercontinental ladder match with aerial maestros
Je’Von Evans, Penta, and Rey Mysterio is more anticipated
than either men’s title match.
