Will Ospreay got some backup on Dynamite yesterday in the form
of United Empire in his fight against The Death Riders.
Last week, Ospreay was at the NJPW Sakura Genesis show and
asked new IWGP champion Callum Newman for some help back at
AEW.
Newman, Heare, and Francesco Akira, three members of the
United Empire group which Will Ospreay originally founded,
joined Ospreay in an eight-man tag match on the show, taking
on Jon Moxley, Pac, Daniel Garcia, and Claudio Castagnoli.
The NJPW faction won the match after both Ospreay and Newman
pinned Moxley, with Newman saving Ospreay from a Mox pin after
a Paradigm Shift.
