Pat McAfee addressed the complaints from wrestling fans
following his involvement in the Cody Rhodes vs Randy Orton
program this past Friday on Smackdown.
McAfee was revealed as the mystery caller with Orton and
attacked Cody Rhodes at the beginning of the show, saying
that Randy Orton is going to save the business.
Speaking on The Pat McAfee Show on ESPN earlier today,
McAfee took a shot at the “IWC dipshits” who have no idea
what is good for them.
“They have no idea what they’ve been missing, they have no
idea what it’s supposed to look like. Now we change that.
That’s the Internet Wrestling Community,” McAfee said.
“They’re not the biggest fans of what happened, they’re
pretty upset about it. But they are a part of the problem.
They are the ones that said, ‘Yeah, this is what it’s
supposed to be, all this stuff.’ It’s like…’Nah, let us show
you what it’s supposed to be whenever Randy Orton is at the
top of the marquee.'”Professional Wrestling Events
McAfee said that WrestleMania is going to be spectacular and
special and future wrestling generation fans will look back
on that weekend and say, “That was the moment that that GOAT
saved the entire business by becoming 15-time World
champion,” referring to Orton.
The addition of McAfee has been the idea of TKO chief Ari
Emanuel and he was, according to multiple reports, the
number one pick for the role he’s in right now.
