The WWE Women’s Intercontinental title will be defended at
WrestleMania 42 with champion AJ Lee defending against
former two-time champion Becky Lynch.
On Raw last night, Lynch claimed that she “murdered” the
Divas era, which brought out Lee, who played a major part in
the Divas division at the time.
Lee offered Lynch a rematch for the title at WrestleMania
and told her that she wanted to make Lynch tap on the
biggest show of the year.
Lynch said that 11 years ago, AJ handed in her resignation
the day after WrestleMania and this year, she would end her
at WrestleMania.
This will mark AJ Lee’s first WrestleMania match since 31 in
2015 at Levi’s Stadium where she and Paige defeated The
Bella Twins.
