Speaking on his Phenomenally Retro podcast, soon-to-be WWE
Hall of Famer AJ Styles said that he plans to keep his HOF
speech “short and sweet” as he thinks that is the best way
to do it.
Styles said he will try and not piss everyone off by having
to endure a long speech, something that everyone has
experienced in the past.
“So I’m gonna try to make sure that I stay within the
guidelines of that and not make people hate AJ Styles based
on his Hall of Fame induction speech,” Styles joked.
He admitted that he doesn’t know exactly of what his speech
will be about but there’s a lot of people he has to thank,
including the fans.
“I look at me in the mirror and I know I never should have
made it,” Styles continued. “So the fact that I did, that’s
a testament to the kind of fans that are out there.”
Styles will join Stephanie McMahon, Demolition, and Dennis
Rodman in the Hall of Fame Class of 2026.
Tickets for the show remain available via Ticketmaster.com
