Appearing at Megacon Orlando yesterday, former 17-time world
champion John Cena spoke about his future in WWE and said
he’s working diligently to try to figure out his next path
as a contributing, useful member of WWE.
“I think I might have cracked the code…but I think we have
something,” John Cena said as the crowd applauded. “And if
the stars align and everybody signs off, I will be a whole
lot more integrated in the system and I’m very excited about
the road ahead. I’m just crossing my fingers!”
Cena has not appeared on WWE television since his retirement
match this past December at Saturday Night’s Main Event. He
previously announced that he signed a long-term deal to
continue working for WWE.
Cena met with fans for photo ops and autographs, with his
prices just $179 for a photo and $149 for regular
autographs. He then held a panel later in the afternoon.
