Just days after signing a contract with CMLL to make it a dual
one along with the AEW contract, Claudio Castagnoli lost the
CMLL World Heavyweight title yesterday night against
Hechicero.
Castagnoli won the title from Gran Guerrero in November 2025
and remained champion for a total of 112 days. It was his
first time with the championship in CMLL.
Hechicero, another one under those dual CMLL/AEW contracts,
previously held the CMLL World Heavyweight title for 409 days
and it’s his second run with the title.
