The first match for the upcoming AEW Dynasty pay-per-view
was announced last night on Dynamite.
The match will feature AEW Tag Team champions FTR defending
their gold against the returning Adam Copeland and Christian
Cage. This is their second match against each other after
the Canadians defeated FTR at All Out last year, only for
the current champs to be written off in a post-match angle
which also involved Beth Copeland getting a spike
piledriver.
Copeland and Cage came out on Dynamite to interrupt The
Young Bucks who also wanted a shot at the titles, revealing
they got first dibs at FTR.
FTR also showed up during the segment, but got beaten up by
all four, with Copeland, Cage, and The Bucks holding the two
titles together in a stare down before The Bucks eventually
backed off.
