Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful is reporting through his Select
service that Santos Escobar is undergoing surgery tomorrow to
repair a torn tricep.
Escobar suffered the injury several weeks ago at a non-
televised live event in late January during a match against
Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr.
The former WWE Cruiserweight champion wrestled at the AAA Rey
de Reyes tournament four-way final last week which did not
help things either.
It’s unclear how long he will be out for but typical surgeries
will require up to a year on the sidelines.
