SummerSlam is inching closer to 100,000 tickets sold for the
two-night event as the company moved over 10,000 tickets in
three days.
@WrestleTix is reporting that SummerSlam Saturday is now at
47,468 tickets distributed, with a total of 5,111 tickets
moved in 72 hours. SummerSlam Sunday is at 50,387 with 5,390
tickets moved in the same period.
With 97,800+ tickets out, they’re just over 2,000 tickets
away from 100,000 over two days, which will be a big success
either way you look at it.
The MetLife Stadium holds over 80,000 seats but the company
was never going to be able to sell that many tickets each
night.
SummerSlam Sunday is just around 6,000 tickets away from
reaching last year’s attendance and with a few more days to
go, it’s something that can be easily achievable.
