During the post-Revolution media scrum, AEW President Tony
Khan said that Ronda Rousey is always welcome and noted how
she has always been good to him.
When asked about Rousey’s appearance, Khan stuck to the
script and said that Rousey and Shafir are friends and
Shafir brought Rousey with her as “backup.” Both Shafir and
Toni Storm will battle in a no holds barred match on
Dynamite on Wednesday but he gave no hints if Rousey will be
there.
Khan also said that he was invited by Rousey to attend her
MMA fight on May 16 and AEW wrestlers are also welcome to
attend.
The show is promoted by MVP, which is Jake Paul’s company,
the brother of WWE Superstar Logan Paul, and streams live on
Netflix, WWE’s worldwide media rights partner.
