AEW got some star power back after the returns of Kenny
Omega and Will Ospreay last night at the Revolution pay-per-
view.
Ospreay’s return came after Jon Moxley successfully defended
the AEW Continental title against Konosuke Takeshita. After
the Death Riders celebrated with Moxley in the ring,
Ospreay’s music hit the speakers to another loud pop.
Ospreay ran to the ring and attacked Moxley, but The Death
Riders ganged up on him, only for Ospreay to recover quickly
and beat their ass one by one.
The very talented and popular British star underwent back
surgery to repair two herniated discs in September of last
year.
Later in the broadcast, Kenny Omega also made his return,
saving Brody King from a post-match attack by Swerve
Strickland and Prince Nana. Strickland had just beaten King
and was about to smash King’s head with a cinder block but
Omega ran out to make the save. Strickland and Nana
eventually bolted and Omega celebrated with King in the
middle of the ring.
Omega last wrestled a month ago, losing to Strickland on
Dynamite.
