AS I SEE IT

AEW saw plenty of ICE chants (not exactly surprising) when
they hit the Bay Area for Dynamite and Collision last week.
The crowd took on a duel chant each time Don Callis came
out, chanted "Fuck Don Callis...Fuck ICE too". The chants
were especially obvious live according to Dave Meltzer, who
attended the San Jose taping.
I can only imagine the March 25 taping in St. Paul, MN.
Out of nowhere last Monday, this press release appeared from
AEW:
"Kiswe, the global leader in streaming technology and
services, and All Elite Wrestling (AEW), one of the most
dynamic brands in professional wrestling, today announced
the global launch of MyAEW, a new digital platform for All
Elite Wrestling. Powered by Kiswe, the platform gives fans
immersive access to live and on-demand events outside the
United States and Canada, a dedicated FAST channel with ad
supported viewing available to fans globally and more
exciting features to come in the near future.
The MyAEW.com platform is designed to bring the global AEW
fanbase an immersive digital experience, connecting fans
with the best in-ring action, behind-the-scenes moments, and
exclusive digital content, laying the foundation to become
the central hub for all fans of professional wrestling.
Launching ahead of AEW Revolution, which features stars like
MJF, “Hangman” Adam Page, Jon Moxley, Willow Nightingale,
FTR and The Young Bucks, this partnership marks the
beginning of a long-term evolution for MyAEW, with continued
advancements and developments over the next year.
“We are excited to partner with Kiswe for the launch of the
new MyAEW platform,” said AEW CEO, GM and Head of Creative
Tony Khan. “Kiswe has set the standard for digital
content across all forms of sports and entertainment, and we
are proud to have AEW alongside other leaders in this space
as we continue to evolve the platform and best serve fans
around the world.”
The partnership with AEW underscores Kiswe’s ability to
build and support streaming platforms featuring a variety of
live and on-demand content, with flexible, region-specific
pricing.
“AEW has an incredible vision for the future of their fan
experience, and Kiswe is proud to be the technology partner
powering it,” said Glenn Booth, CEO of Kiswe. “MyAEW was
built to become the central hub for the AEW community,
directly connecting one of the most passionate fanbases in
sports and entertainment to the content they love by giving
them unprecedented access to the ring and beyond.”
Kiswe is an award-winning technology company that enables
the biggest brands in sports and entertainment to reliably
reach their fans anywhere on any screen. Whether delivered
directly to their audiences or distributed through third
parties, Kiswe’s two flagship products, Kiswe Connect and
Kiswe Core, provide partners with the tools to engage with
their community, streamline their distribution process, and
scale their brands.

The $119.99 per year option features AEW podcasts, all the

The service is not available for those in the United States,
Canada, Mexico, or India. The FAST channel is available for
U.S. and India, but nothing for Canada or Mexico.
The service immediately has become an alternative to
Triller, which has been embattled in financial issues, with
parent company Triller Group experiencing severe financial
distress, including delisting from the Nasdaq in December
2025 due to missing financial reporting deadlines. Triller
Group has faced failed funding deals, a stock price drop of
over 97%, and reported substantial net losses, creating
serious questions about its ability to maintain operations
for streaming partners like AEW and GCW. AEW had trademarked
WatchAEW late last year in an early step toward what is now
MyAEW.com. As of this writing, Triller currently still
provides a gateway both to AEW programming and PPV
availability for many international countries via AEW Plus
which is $7.99 per month with a 20% PPV discount.
Along with the red flags from TrillerTV's issues, it appears
Tony Khan learned from the chaos of the last two years with
FanDuel Sports Network (which took over most regional sports
networks that had previously run under Fox Sports Network
and later Bally Sports Network) and most major North
American sports. FanDuel Sports Network (formerly Bally
Sports) is in the process of shutting down operations. with
its parent company, Main Street Sports Group, winding down
most regional sports networks (RSNs) following financial
instability and the termination of deals with MLB, NBA, and
NHL franchises; forcing leagues to take over broadcast
operations for any franchises that hadn't already made
alternative broadcast arrangements.
MyAEW became available for viewing on last week's Dynamite,
with no issues reported online by users. A more significant
test will be this weekend as AEW presents Revolution on PPV,
a show which will be available on the service as part of the
higher-tier subscriptions.
Speaking to members of the media last Thursday in the usual
pre-PPV presserahead of weekend’s Revolution pay-per-view,
AEW President Tony Khan said that the launch of MyAEW had
nothing to do with the current WBD sale to Paramount
Skydance. Khan said that the MyAEW service is strictly for
international fans and their aim is to reach as many of
those fans as possible, noting that in the United States,
they’re happy with HBO Max being their lead PPV provider.
Khan was optimistic about AEW’s future with Paramount and
thinks that the company will be on TNT and TBS for a long
time.
He noted that his friendship with current WBD head David
Zaslav, as well as that of David Ellison who owns Paramount,
as as UFC's Dana White and Hunter Campbell. and he would
love to be on the same channel as the UFC eventually, even
though UFC’s sister promotion is obviously their competitor.
Until next time...
