NXT will be celebrating Hall of Famer Booker T on next
week’s episode live from Houston, Texas.
During last night’s show, NXT commentator Vic Joseph
surprised Booker T by telling him in front of the live
audience that the next show will be Booker T Appreciation
Night and it takes place from his hometown.
Joseph said that he and Booker were only supposed to be
paired for three months but it’s now three years so he was
honored to make the announcement, before proclaiming, “All
hail King Booker!”
Booker T was clearly surprised by the announcement and asked
Joseph why he waited all day to tell him that.
“Hey, don’t say I never did nothing for you,” Joseph joked.
The former five-time WCW champion received a lot of support
from his peers across promotions after he was voted as the
worst commentator of the year by fans of the Wrestling
Observer.
