Two sets of tag teams were named number one contenders for
the WWE Tag Team and WWE Women’s Tag Team titles last night
on Smackdown.
Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair will get another shot at the
titles after they beat WWE Women’s United States champion
Giulia and Kiana James, with Flair pinning Giulia for the
victory. They will face The Irresistible Forces at a later
date.
Also, the random tag team of former Judgment Day members
Damian Priest and R-Truth beat The Motor City Machine Guns,
Fraxiom, Los Garza, and The Wyatt Sicks in a gauntlet match
to earn a future title shot against the MFTs. Priest and
Truth beat Los Garza in the final match after Tama Tonga
interfered to cause Wyatt Sicks to lose their portion of the
match against Los Graza.
