WWE World Heavyweight champion CM Punk discussed using the
famous Chicago Bulls song for his match at Elimination
Chamber, complete with an intro by the legendary Bulls
announcer Ray Clay.
Punk was shown walking through the backstage area at the
United Center as the song Sirius by The Alan Parsons
Project, played in the background, complete with a light
show for those inside the arena.
The song is most known for the starting line up music for
the Chicago Bulls, and the PA announcer, Ray Clay, voiced
over Punk’s special introduction.
“It’s a magical song, ladies and gentleman, and I got
goosebumps just thinking about it and talking about it,”
Punk said during the post-show. “But the best part about
that entrance are these people behind me. And when I say the
people behind me, I mean the entirety of the city of
Chicago, because they are always behind me.”
Punk eventually came out to his Cult of Personality song as
soon as he exited the backstage area, with the Chicago fans
singing along.
