WRESTLEMANIA 43: Nick Khan says WWE team will be at Asia Cup in Saudi next year for WrestleMania venue tips and tricks

In the conference call with investors yesterday to discuss
the TKO Q4 2025 earnings, WWE President Nick Khan answered a
question regarding what lessons WWE learned from hosting the
Royal Rumble in Saudi Arabia.

Khan said that there were a lot of things learned since it
was their first time doing such an event at a pop-up stadium
and will be looking at the 2027 Asia Cup, which takes place
in Saudi Arabia in January and February 2027, for more tips
and tricks.

Khan mentioned that the Asia Cup will take place from “the
same venue” as WrestleMania, but failed short in mentioning
which venue. The Asia Cup will be held across eight stadiums
in the Kingdom, including the newly-renovated King Fahd
International Stadium in Riyadh, which seats 60,000 fans.

“That’s three and a half weeks of international
football/soccer action, which there will be a lot of
learnings coming out of that in terms of the look of the
venue, the feel of the venue, how to light it properly and
how to get all of those nuances down,” Khan said.

He also mentioned that some of their production team will be
there for the entirety of the tournament to take notes.

WWE got a lot of criticism for their production of the Royal
Rumble, especially for the lights added to each seat which
made the arena look empty.
