The opening round of the “World Title Eliminator Tournament”
will begin next week. The bracket is revealed with Fenix vs.
Pentagon, Wardlow vs. Jungle Boy, Hangman Page vs. Colt
Cabana and Kenny Omega vs. Joey Janela in the first round.

MJF and Wardlow make their way to the ring and MJF runs down
the fans. He says that he accomplished more in one year than
any of AEW’s fans have done in their entire lives. MJF says
he isn’t here to get on top, he’s here to stay on top. MJF
calls Jericho out to the ring to listen to his
“groundbreaking announcement.”

Jericho comes out with the Inner Circle and Sammy is
refusing to put the jacket that MJF finally got him on. It’s
huge and way too big for Sammy but Jericho makes him put it
on. Jericho tells MJF to “cut the shit” and make his
announcement. MJF says that he and Jericho are the two
biggest “minute-to-minute draws” in AEW but somehow they
have never faced each other. He says that’s because you
never see two piranhas eating each other, because they have
mutual respect.

MJF says that he and Jericho are “predators” but their prey
is adapting and they will have to adapt to stay on top. He
says they have worked great separate but asks what if they
work together. MJF keeps stopping himself from asking to
join Inner Circle but finally asks.

Ortiz says they don’t want him and that is the end of the
story. Jericho says that they are a family and they need to
make their decision together. Jericho invites MJF to a steak
dinner next week, though.

Tony Schiavone earlier today is getting a massage alongside
Britt Baker. Baker realizes Tony is naked under his towel
and freaks out. She forces him to get his chest waxed,

Winner: TIME LIMIT DRAW (Cody retains)

As Archer and Roberts are about to be interviewed by Alex
Marvez, Jon Moxley attacks them.

Tony Schiavone interviews Matt Hardy at ringside and he
announces that he has been cleared to return to the ring.
Someone appears on the screen and burns pictures of Matt
Hardy and it is revealed to be Sammy Guevara. Sammy admits
to being the one that attacked him weeks ago and says that
every time doctors clear him he will send Matt right back to
the doctors. He said it won’t be over until he sends him
home for good.

Tony Schiavone is in the ring with FTR and Tully Blanchard.
They are going to do a random draw of four teams to face off
next week for a shot at the tag titles. Those teams are
Private Party, John Silver & Alex Reynolds, Butcher & Blade
and The Young Bucks. The Bucks offer FTR a handshake and
then get in their faces.

Matt Jackson tells Tony Schiavone that they aren’t going to
kick Tony in the face and instead kick Blade and John Silver
instead! A big brawl between the four teams breaks out as
FTR leave. The Bucks and Private Party clean house and then
get in each other’s faces. The Bucks offer a handshake but
then kick them in the face, too.

AEW World Women’s Championship
Hikaru Shida (c) (17-1) vs. Big Swole (10-3)

Swole and Shida shake hands and then lockup coming to a
stalemate. Swole manages to come out of a second lockup with
a side headlock but Shida reverses it. Swole counters into a
Top Wristlock and forces Shida down over her knee only for
Shida to sweep her legs. The two break out some nice chain
spots and then the pace picks up as both girls attempt
clotheslines and tackles. Swole shuts Shida down and puts
her in a chinlock and then rolls her up as Shida tried to
counter, for a nearfall.

They exchange rollups for nearfalls and then exchange
strikes. Shida tries to toss Swole to the floor but Swole
stops only to eat a boot to the face. Shida lays Swole out
on the apron and then connects with a Running Knee Lift. As
Shida celebrates, Swole shoves her into the camera.

Shida lifts Swole up to the top rope and attempts a
Superplex but Swole blocks it and goes for a Sunset Flip
Bomb. She slips and botches that spot so she just shoves
Shida to the stage and hits a gorgeous Springboard Cutter on
the ramp. Back in the ring, she hits another Springboard
Cutter but Shida kicks out at two.

Swole hits a series of strikes but then runs into a Knee
Strike. Shida hits a Straight Jacket German Suplex for a
nearfall. Shida hits a Flying Knee to the back and then the

Smash followed by a pair of Flying Knees for the pin.

Archer beats Moxley with the trashcan and drags him to the
apron where he goes for a Tiger Bomb through some tables at
ringside, but Moxley nut shots him and then hits a Paradigm
Shift through the tables!

Both men are down and finally manage to climb back in the

Archer still kicks out! Moxley immediately locks in the
Bulldog Choke but Archer gets to his feet and shoves Moxley
into the corner. Archer hits a DDT of his own and Chokeslams
him into the turnbuckles. Archer hits the Blackout but
Moxley counters the pin into a crucifix for the pin!

Winner & STILL World Champ: Moxley via pinfall (Crucifix)

Archer attacks Moxley after the match and then Kingston
sicks Lucha Brothers on Archer rather than Moxley. Roberts
makes Archer back down and then Kingston applauds Moxley.
Kinston talks about his history with Moxley and tells Fenix
to give Moxley his title belt. Kingston says he is proud of
Moxley and knew he could be the star he’s become and then
raises his arm. Kingston hits the Spinning Backfist and
chokes Moxley out. Kingston screams that he never quit and
that he is going to “get” Moxley.
