Speaking to Sam Roberts on the Notsam Wrestling podcast,
Blake Monroe said she’s in no rush to get to the main roster
and is loving her time in NXT.
Many fans online have criticized the way she is booked and
how WWE have “fumbled” her after a strong showing in AEW.
But the former Mariah May is not sweating it.
“I don’t know why there is some kind of…’I need to be called
up.’ I’m not in any rush,” she said. “As I said, I still
have so much to do. I’ve hardly feuded with any of the
women. I mean, Jordynne Grace wasted a lot of my time, and
now Jaida Park is chasing me around, but there’s so many
women I want to wrestle.”
Monroe added that she hasn’t even gotten to the NXT Women’s
title scene so there’s still a lot of things to do in NXT
for her.
The British star arrived in WWE in June 2025 after a highly-
successful run in AEW where she was the AEW Women’s champion
as well.
