We continued our weekend in California with Collision in
Oceanside LIVE on TNT and streaming on HBO Max! With the
focus shifted to Revolution in Los Angeles next month,
tensions were on the rise, and plenty of combustible
elements existed under the same roof tonight!
As an AEW World Tag Team Championship showdown for
Revolution loomed, both the champions, FTR, and challengers,
the Young Bucks, were in action on Collision. In the main
event, FTR were defeated by The Rascalz, Zachary Wentz and
Dezmond Xavier, in an AEW World Tag Team Championship
Eliminator match to earn a future shot at the AEW World Tag
Team Titles. However, after the match, the Rascalz and Matt
and Nick Jackson were attacked by GOA, as FTR went after the
Bucks’ family at ringside! FTR hit a spike piledriver on the
Bucks’ younger brother to end the night in complete chaos!
With no end to their ongoing hostilities in sight, we also
saw plenty of reasons why the Death Riders and Don Callis
Family don’t like each other. CMLL World Heavyweight
Champion Claudio Castagnoli defeated “Walking Weapon” Josh
Alexander, but later in the night, the Callis Family team of
Konosuke Takeshita, El Clon and Mark Davis beat AEW
Continental Champion Jon Moxley, Wheeler Yuta and PAC.
However, it was Moxley dropping Takeshita with a Paradigm
Shift after the match!
And the AEW World Trios Titles aren’t going anywhere thanks
to Jet Set Rodeo’s victory over The Demand when “Hangman”
Adam Page pinned AEW National Champion Ricochet thanks to a
distraction from “Jungle” Jack Perry.
Plus, Thunder Rosa had a successful return to action against
Julia Hart, but was confronted by AEW Women’s World Champion
Thekla! And we found out what happened when AEW World
Champion MJF and Andrade El Ídolo crossed paths on Friday
night!
Check out everything that went down on a red-hot Collision
from Oceanside! Here are your complete results.
AEW World Trios Championship Match: Jet Set Rodeo (“Hangman”
Adam Page, “Speedball” Mike Bailey and “The Jet” Kevin
Knight) (c) def. The Demand (AEW National Champion Ricochet,
Bishop Kaun and Toa Liona)
Our opening contest brought us right into championship
action! And Jet Set Rodeo was decked out in brand new
matching gear for their first defense as AEW World Trios
Champions.
Bailey and Ricochet began the match with Ricochet
immediately running Bailey into Knight to knock him off the
apron, as GOA went to work on him and Page on the outside.
Back in the ring, Kaun and Ricochet double-teamed Bailey
with a kick/slam combo before turning their attention to
Knight and giving him similar treatment. Page rolled in and
finally broke through the disadvantage, only for Liona to
enter, stop Page, and put the Demand back on top. It didn’t
last long, as Page backdropped Ricochet to the floor and
JetSpeed came off the top with dropkicks to send GOA to the
outside. Ricochet returned to the ring only to get wrecked
by Jet Set Rodeo with continuous triple-team offense! Knight
took over on Ricochet until the AEW National Champion pulled
Knight down by the hair. That gave Ricochet the chance to
make a much-needed tag to Kaun. He entered and chopped
Knight down to the mat, but Knight escaped the grasp and
tagged Bailey. He lit Kaun up with kicks until Ricochet
returned, so Bailey put Ricochet down with a three-kick
combo followed by a running shooting star press for a
nearfall!
Ricochet avoided a high roundhouse kick and put a shot of
his own right on Bailey before knocking Page to the floor
with a springboard dropkick! Kaun bounced Bailey back and
forth between the ring and the barricade. Liona took off
around the ring to get a head of steam to run through both
Knight and Page, only to restart and take out Bailey to
complete the railroading of Jet Set Rodeo! Bailey wound up
nowhere near his team, as he was dominated in The Demand’s
corner. Finally, Bailey started to kick his way loose from
Liona, but didn’t do much damage. Bailey avoided a senton
splash and put Liona down with a missile dropkick from the
top! Liona tagged Ricochet, but Bailey tagged Page!
He took out Kaun with a springboard lariat on the apron and
caught Ricochet from the ropes with a fallaway slam, but he
wasn’t done, as he dove onto Kaun on the floor and
clotheslined Liona into the timekeeper’s area! Back in the
ring, Page popped up Ricochet for a powerbomb and followed
with a huge lariat, but GOA came in to make the save on the
pin attempt. GOA isolated Page in the corner until Liona
went to the apron with a moonsault to JetSpeed on the floor!
Kaun slammed Page to the mat, which allowed Ricochet to come
off the top with a 450 splash! Page kicked out!
JetSpeed pulled Ricochet out of the ring and dropped him
with a pair of kicks. They entered the ring and did the same
to Kaun, but the same offense was shaken off by Liona, who
wound up catching both Bailey and Knight for a Samoan
drop/fallaway slam combo in a tremendous feat of strength!
Kaun slid out to go after Bailey on the apron, so Speedball
adjusted with a springboard moonsault to Kaun on the floor!
In the ring, Knight finally took Liona down with a
springboard clothesline. From the apron, Page booted
Ricochet and flipped in for a Buckshot Lariat, but Ricochet
was ready for it and rolled him up for a two-count!
Page missed a charge in the corner, but stopped Ricochet
with a back elbow. He ran up the ropes to moonsault over
Ricochet to go for a Deadeye, but Ricochet slipped free and
nailed a poisonrana! Bailey returned to the ring with a kick
to Ricochet’s chest, followed by moonsault knees, but Kaun
quickly grabbed Bailey for a double-underhook spike
piledriver! Knight jumped OVER a Kaun clothesline and put
him down with a jumping DDT. Ricochet ducked a clothesline
from Knight and hit one of his own, but when he tried a
springboard cutter, Page caught him and hit a tombstone
piledriver! Page went to the apron again, but had to fight
off both members of GOA, which he punctuated with a Deadeye
to Liona on the apron! Ricochet hit Page with a rising knee,
only to turn into a big kick from Bailey. Bailey charged at
Ricochet in the corner, but adjusted in midair to a
moonsault over the top onto Kaun on the floor!
Page went for another Buckshot Lariat, so Ricochet pulled
the referee in his way. Page stopped in time, but that
allowed Ricochet to grab him for a Vertigo! Page kicked out
at the last moment! Ricochet set up for the Spirit Gun, only
to be distracted by the appearance of “Jungle” Jack Perry on
the top of the stage. Ricochet sent Page to the outside,
which put him in a perfect position to nail a Buckshot
Lariat as Ricochet turned back around from looking up the
ramp. Page covered Ricochet for the three-count! Jet Set
Rodeo retain the AEW World Trios Titles!
FTR vs. The Rascalz Set for Tonight!
Dezmond Xavier, Zachary Wentz and Myron Reed were showing
off their new shirts (now available on ShopAEW.com!), but
were interrupted by AEW World Tag Team Champions FTR. Dax
Harwood and Cash Wheeler weren’t happy with what they
smelled in the locker room, so they ran down the Rascalz and
said they wished they won the #1 contenders match so that
FTR could have beaten them. The Rascalz responded by making
a challenge to FTR to fight tonight! FTR said they don’t
just give out title shots, so the Rascalz suggested it be an
AEW World Tag Team Title Eliminator match! FTR agreed, and
the match is on! Reed tried to get them to decide the two
members for the match, but Wentz and Xavier said they were
undefeated as a team, so they’ll handle it. Tony Khan made
it official for tonight!
Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson) def. The Swirl (Blake
Christian and Lee Johnson)
The Young Bucks greeted many members of their family in the
front row during their entrance. We heard from Jay Lethal
before the match, as he is now providing some veteran
leadership to Christian and Johnson for what he called The
Lethal Swirl.
Nick Jackson and Christian started the match, but Johnson
attacked Nick from behind as Christian knocked Matt to the
floor. The Swirl continued the attack on Nick and mocked him
with the Young Bucks pose. Nick avoided a double clothesline
and sent Christian into Johnson. Matt got back in, and the
Bucks hit an assisted German suplex on Christian, followed
by a lungblower on Johnson. The Bucks hit stereo plancha to
the floor on both members of the Swirl and took some time to
bask in their offense before throwing Christian and Johnson
back in the ring. Christian surprised the Bucks with a
twisting dive to take them both out on the floor! Johnson
followed with a swanton dive onto the Bucks over the top to
the outside! Back in the ring, all four men traded
superkicks until the Bucks took both members of the Swirl
down with a barrage of superkicks! The Bucks went to
opposite corners for a splash/elbow drop combo! They didn’t
keep the advantage for long, and the Swirl wound up
isolating Matt, who wound up at the mercy of Christian and
Johnson.
Nick tried to save Matt from the tree of woe in the corner,
but was wiped out and sent to the floor, where Christian met
him with a moonsault from the second rope! Back in the ring,
Matt was planted by a double stomp/Death Valley Driver
combo! Nick made the save just in time! Matt hit multiple
Northern Lights Suplexes to get out of the grasp of
Christian and finally hit a third when Johnson tried to come
in for the stop. Nick finally made the tag and escaped a
double team to hit a leaping head scissors/armdrag combo on
the Swirl! Matt tagged back in for a buckle bomb/enzuigiri
combo! The Bucks hit the MMMBop Drop on Christian, but
Johnson made the save on the pin attempt!
The Bucks missed double superkicks on Johnson, who came back
with a hurricanrana on both Matt and Nick! Christian flew
through the ropes to snatch Matt, as Johnson came off the
ropes with a crossbody/reverse DDT combo. Matt sent Johnson
into the top turnbuckle, which stopped Christian on his way
to the top rope. Nick met Christian on top and took him down
with a hurricanrana! The Bucks hit a doomsday device on
Johnson, who landed on Christian, then finished Christian
off with the BTE Trigger for the victory!
AEW World Champion MJF and Andrade El Ídolo Crossed Paths on
Friday Night
We took a look back at the face-to-face between AEW World
Champion MJF and “Hangman” Adam Page from Dynamite, which
included Page offering to never challenge for the AEW World
Title again if he can’t beat MJF at Revolution, but he wants
a Texas Death Match! MJF said he needed a week to think
about his stipulation. We then went to last night in New
York, where MJF defended the AEW World Title against Zilla
Fatu at the independent promotion, House of Glory. MJF tried
to use the Triple B during the match, but Andrade El Ídolo
took it from him! Despite that, MJF still managed to tap out
Fatu with Salt of the Earth to retain the AEW World
Championship via submission. MJF confronted Andrade after
the match to complain about the interference and was
absolutely beside himself. Andrade told him, “Tranquilo,”
and asked why he gave a title opportunity to an indie
wrestler while everyone in AEW needs to fight for the same
opportunity. Why? Because he’s scared of Andrade? Andrade’s
eyes are on the title. MJF said if his eyes are on the
title, then his eyes are on MJF. He’s going to make sure
“Hangman” never wrestles for the AEW World Title again after
Revolution and warns Andrade that if he comes after MJF, he
better not miss. MJF left after the threat, but Andrade
laughed it off.
CMLL World Heavyweight Championship Match: Claudio
Castagnoli (c) of the Death Riders def. “Walking Weapon”
Josh Alexander of the Don Callis Family
As per CMLL rules, each man had a representative on the
outside, with Marina Shafir representing Castagnoli and
Lance Archer in Alexander’s corner. Alexander attacked
Castagnoli to jump-start the match and clearly took the
champion by surprise. However, it didn’t last long, as
Castagnoli turned things around with a tilt-a-whirl slam
followed by a clothesline to the outside! He ran down the
apron and nailed Alexander with a modified body block.
Castagnoli got a head of steam and sent Alexander into the
front row with a running uppercut!
Castagnoli threw Alexander back in the ring and came off the
top with a double sledgehammer to get a two-count. Alexander
and Castagnoli traded heavy chops until Castagnoli put
Alexander in the corner with windmill chops. Castagnoli sent
Alexander to the ropes and nailed a final overhand chop to
put Alexander on the mat. Alexander avoided a charge from
Castagnoli, which sent the champion to the outside.
Alexander dove onto Castagnoli, but was caught on the floor,
only for Alexander to escape and run Castagnoli into the
steel steps. Castagnoli’s left knee was clearly damaged in
the attack.
Castagnoli did everything he could to battle back and
reversed a figure four leglock to get some separation from
Alexander. However, Castagnoli couldn’t put any weight on
his leg, so when he tried to go blow-for-blow with
Alexander, it failed, as Alexander chopped his bad leg.
Alexander and Castagnoli traded uppercuts, but when
Alexander tried to dive under Castagnoli, the champion
adjusted and deadlifted him from the ground to slam him to
the mat! What strength!
Back on their feet, Castagnoli uppercutted Alexander into
the corner and nailed a spinning uppercut to dizzy
Alexander. He put Alexander on the top turnbuckle and pulled
him off with a cutter. That got a two-count! Alexander
escaped the giant swing to put on an ankle lock, so
Castagnoli rolled out of it to send Alexander to the apron.
Castagnoli followed with a boot, but Alexander stopped him
with a shot to the jaw and a front slam onto the apron!
Alexander immediately followed with a running crossbody to a
seated Castagnoli, putting him on the floor! Alexander
rolled him in, but only got a two-count.
Castagnoli backdropped out of Alexander’s grasp and rolled
through with a pair of boots to the chest. Both men got back
to their feet and traded big shots until Castagnoli reached
down to launch Alexander up for a pop-up uppercut! Alexander
kicked out! Castagnoli tried a Neutralizer, but Alexander
got out of it and put on an ankle lock with a grapevine on
the leg. Castagnoli got back to a vertical base on his good
leg and deadlifted Alexander up into a vertical suplex to
break the ankle lock! Castagnoli looked primed to try
another Neutralizer, so Archer got on the apron only to be
met by Shafir. Castagnoli booted Archer to the floor, but
turned into a boot from Alexander. Alexander hit a German
suplex but missed a charge in the corner. Castagnoli hit an
uppercut followed by a short giant swing that disoriented
Alexander enough to soften him up for a Neutralizer!
Castagnoli got the pinfall to retain the CMLL World
Heavyweight Championship!
“Megasus” Megan Bayne def. B3cca
This was a standby match, as neither championship match went
to the time limit. At the bell, Bayne ran across the ring
with a flying boot to B3cca’s face! Bayne followed with a
German suplex and chopped B3cca in the corner. Bayne sent
her to the opposite corner, but missed a charge. Bayne
quickly overpowered B3cca and brought her back from the
apron with a back suplex. Bayne nailed a MegaBomb for the
impressive victory! After the match, Bayne signaled for
championship gold around her waist!
Former TNT Champion Tommaso Ciampa Wants His “Silvey” Back
We reviewed the events of the last two weeks that saw Ciampa
beat Mark Briscoe for the TNT Title, followed by Kyle
Fletcher taking the TNT Title from Ciampa last week on
Dynamite and then successfully defending it against Briscoe
in a ladder match at Grand Slam Australia. Lexy Nair was
backstage with Ciampa, asking how he was feeling after such
a wild couple of weeks. Ciampa said it’s only 24 days since
he became All Elite, but the number he’s focused on is 10.
That’s how many days it’s been since Fletcher took the TNT
Title from him, but then Fletcher went to Australia and
defended it there. Fletcher stayed in Australia, but Ciampa
said that when Fletcher comes back to the States, he wants
his “Silvey,” aka the TNT Title, back!
Trios Match: Don Callis Family (“The Alpha” Konosuke
Takeshita, El Clon and Mark Davis) def. Death Riders (AEW
Continental Champion Jon Moxley, Wheeler Yuta and PAC)
For the second time tonight, we saw the Death Riders and Don
Callis Family square off after Castagnoli beat Alexander to
retain the CMLL World Heavyweight Championship earlier in
the night. Takeshita and Yuta started the match for their
respective sides, although Yuta hid his bald head in a knit
cap, which he said was part of his gear. Takeshita struck
the first big blow with a diving lariat to Yuta to bring El
Clon into the match. Yuta tagged PAC, which significantly
increased the match's speed, as Clon was able to subdue Clon
with quick, intense kicks. PAC fought back with big kicks of
his own to slow Clon down and mocked him with Clon’s
signature kip up.
Clon caught a leaping PAC, so Davis chopped PAC out of
midair and tagged in for the first time. He kicked away at
PAC and choked him over the ropes in the corner. Davis hit a
big bodyslam, but missed a senton splash, which allowed
Moxley to tag in! They picked up right where they left off
from their AEW Continental Championship Eliminator on
Dynamite. Moxley knocked Davis to the outside and met him
with a dive through the ropes! Back in the ring, Moxley
tried a piledriver, but Davis escaped and tried to sit on
Moxley, only for Moxley to move out of the way. Moxley hit a
barrage of punches in the corner and dropped Davis with a
cutter!
The Death Riders took the Callis Family out in the corner
and triple-teamed Davis with a conveyor belt of attacks. PAC
and Wheeler hit stereo planchas to Takeshita and El Clon on
the floor while Moxley trapped Davis in the Bulldog choke in
the ring. Takeshita nailed Moxley to break up the
submission, which allowed Davis to come back with a double
sledgehammer to the side of Moxley’s head! The Callis Family
found themselves in control of the AEW Continental Champion!
Takeshita worked over Moxley on the outside and then back in
the ring until Moxley evaded a running knee in the corner.
Takeshita spilled over the top to the floor, but came back
in to make a tag to Davis. Davis charged across the ring to
clear out the Death Riders’ corner. Moxley finally started
throwing big shots at Davis, so Davis came back with a
German suplex. Moxley fought it off to hit a huge lariat and
tagged in PAC! Clon tagged in at the same time, but PAC was
ahead of him every step of the way, as he sent Clon to the
outside. Takeshita attacked PAC from behind, only for PAC to
turn it around with a headscissors takeover to the floor.
Davis nailed PAC from behind, but PAC quickly turned that
around with a shotgun dropkick to send Davis to the floor.
PAC went to the top and took out all three members of the
Callis Family with a moonsault to the floor!
PAC nailed a rebound German suplex to El Clon coming out of
the corner and followed with a tombstone piledriver for a
nearfall! PAC went to the top for the Black Arrow on Clon,
so Takeshita ran in and blasted PAC in the face with a
forearm! Yuta took out Takeshita with the Busaiku knee, but
was dropped with a comebacker lariat from Davis. Davis and
Moxley traded reversals until Moxley caught Davis and El
Clon for a double DDT, but Clon avoided the impact in some
wild contortionist maneuver. Clon hit a kick to Moxley’s
head, but turned right into a huge shot from PAC!
Davis came into the ring with a chair, but Shafir grabbed it
from behind! Davis swung at her and missed, so Moxley
clotheslined him over the top to the floor! Clon escaped a
PAC charge in the corner and nailed a Pele kick. He ran
across to tag Takeshita, but Yuta tagged in, too. Takeshita
ran into a superkick from PAC, and Yuta came off the top
with an assisted splash. Takeshita escaped Yuta’s grasp and
ate a big boot, which he shrugged off with a yell at Yuta's
face! Yuta came back with strikes, which Takeshita answered
with some of his own. Yuta hit a dropkick, but Takeshita
fought through it with a pump kick! Yuta rebounded back in
the ring only to put himself right in the path of a knockout
elbow from Takeshita! Moxley tried to come back in, but
Takeshita booted him back to the floor, and Clon followed
with a dive to Mox! Back in the ring, Takeshita hit Yuta
with Raging Fire to get the pinfall victory!
After the match, Moxley and Takeshita went face-to-face in
the ring, but didn’t come to blows. Davis tried to attack
Moxley from behind, as Yuta tried the same to Takeshita, but
both were sent to the outside. Moxley and Takeshita backed
into each other, so Moxley dropped Takeshita with a Paradigm
Shift! Moxley and the Death Riders exited, as Takeshita
tried to shake off the pain on the mat.
AEW Women’s World Tag Team Champions The Babes of Wrath Send
a Message to MegaBad
Lexy Nair was backstage with AEW Women’s World Tag Team
Champions The Babes of Wrath, TBS Champion Willow
Nightingale and Harley Cameron. She asked them about their
difficult week with MegaBad, but Nightingale asked what it
would take to get them out of their hair. They ran down
their title defenses from last week and asked which belt
they wanted. Nightingale said she’ll fight twice as hard as
double champions. The Babes were clearly ready for MegaBad!
Thunder Rosa def. Triangle of Madness’ Julia Hart
Despite this being Thunder Rosa’s first match since All In
Texas, she controlled Hart from the bell and quickly sent
her to the floor. Hart tried to gather herself, but Rosa
followed and chopped Hart around the barricades. Hart cut
off Rosa and sent her to the corner, but Rosa came back with
an armdrag and dropkick. Rosa hit a basement clothesline to
get a near-fall. Hart stopped Rosa with a rake of the eyes,
then worked her arm with a tightrope walk, finishing by
hanging it over the top rope. Hart hit a sickening
neckbreaker over the second rope and was totally in control
at this point.
Rosa was able to fight back with stiff chops and a cutter to
send Hart to the corner. Rosa hit a jumping lariat, followed
by a dropkick to a sitting Hart. She continued her offense
with a Northern Lights suplex to get another two-count. Hart
escaped a double underhook and hit a Sole Food to Rosa’s
midsection. Rosa escaped a charge in the corner, but Hart
quickly turned it into a tarantula over the ropes. Hart
locked Rosa in a flying octopus in the middle of the ring,
but Rosa escaped the submission with a slam. Hart kicked out
at two! Rosa tried to strike Hart, but Hart got out of it
with a leg trip. She stomped Rosa and went to the top for a
moonsault, only to eat both of Rosa’s boots on the way down!
Rosa hit a Fire Thunder Driver for the win and a successful
return to AEW!
AEW World Women’s Champion Thekla interrupted from the crowd
to mock Rosa with false praise and called her “one of the
dumbest bitches alive!” She questioned Rosa’s logic for
coming right after Thekla after such a lengthy absence.
Thekla said AEW is toxic, baby! Back in the ring, Kris
Statlander stopped Julia Hart from attacking Thunder Rosa
from behind, as Thekla taunted them from the crowd.
In the back, Private Party had the festivities going with
Bang Bang Gang, the Outrunners and Dalton Castle and Anthony
Bowens. Marq Quen and Isiah Kassidy said they aren’t ducking
any tag team, and they can all see what Private Party is all
about!
Gabe Kidd and Clark Connors Interrupt The Broadcast!
As we prepared to head to our main event, Gabe Kidd and
Clark Connors interrupted Tony Schiavone at the broadcast
booth, as Kidd berated Schiavone for calling him “mental.”
Kidd said that’s exactly what he is and reminded Darby Allin
that this isn’t over until he’s “pushing up daisies.” Kidd
acknowledged that Orange Cassidy wanted to get involved and
asked Connors what they should do to him. Connors said they
should bleed him dry! Kidd said he’s going drag Cassidy down
just like he’s dragging Allin down.
“Next week. Anytime. Anyplace. I’m going to beat you within
an inch of your life.”
Connors said Kidd might be mental, but he’s not joking
because that is his dog for real!
Then, we learned some big matches for Dynamite, including
AEW Continental Champion Jon Moxley vs. El Clon and Mark
Davis vs. Brody King!
AEW World Tag Team Championship Eliminator Match: The
Rascalz (Zachary Wentz and Dezmond Xavier) def. AEW World
Tag Team Champions FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) - The
Rascalz Earn a Future AEW World Tag Team Title Shot
It was time for our main event, although Big Stoke looked in
rough shape as he was wheeled to ringside by FTR. That could
explain why Harwood got off to a slow start and had the
taste, and maybe a tooth, knocked out of his mouth by Wentz
in the early going. Harwood came back to chop and punch
Wentz in the corner, but when they went to the opposite
side, Wentz reversed it into a tornillo! Harwood kicked out
at one, so Xavier tagged in for some double-team offense by
the Rascalz. Harwood battled through it to work Xavier back
to his corner, which allowed Wheeler to tag in for the first
time. Wheeler knocked Xavier to the mat and flattened him
with a basement clothesline. Wheeler jabbed at Xavier until
Xavier came back with a couple shots of his own and a cutter
to get a two-count! Harwood made a blind tag, allowing him
to low-bridge Xavier to the floor. He followed by tossing
Xavier into the barricade, and the champions had the
advantage!
After Xavier was punished for several minutes, Wentz was
able to come in to make the save on a double suplex attempt.
The Rascalz hit stomps to the backs of both Wheeler and
Harwood, who then rolled to the outside. Wentz and Xavier
took out both members of FTR with a moonsault/dive combo on
the floor, as they started to turn things around in this
main event! Xavier threw Harwood back in and tried to come
off the top, but Harwood got out of the way. Harwood tried a
slingshot suplex, but Xavier rolled it into a nearfall!
Harwood ate a step-up kick from Xavier, who then went for a
sunset flip, but Wheeler held Harwood’s arms, which brought
Wentz in to break the connection! Xavier finally got the
sunset flip on Harwood, but he kicked out at two! Wentz
launched himself over the top to the floor with a tornillo
on Wheeler! Back in the ring, Harwood won a battle of
strikes to put Xavier down on the mat.
On commentary, Tony Schiavone announced that Swerve
Strickland had been fined $100,000 for his actions on
Dynamite and was suspended from attending Collision tonight.
Harwood and Xavier battled on the top turnbuckle, with
Xavier knocking Harwood back to the mat, where Wentz was
waiting with a few more shots. Wheeler tried to push Xavier
off the top, but he evaded him with a leap into a shooting
star press on Harwood! Harwood kicked out at two! Wentz
tagged in and went to the top, as Xavier did the same in the
opposite corner. Wheeler shoved Xavier onto the ropes, as
Wentz flew over a ducking Harwood. Harwood hit a tight
driver on Wentz, but he kicked out! That was close!
FTR lined up a Shatter Machine on Wentz, but Xavier stopped
it with a hurricanrana on Wheeler as Wentz rolled up Harwood
for another near-fall! Wentz hit a spinning knee on Harwood,
as the Rascalz set up for Hot Fire Flame, but Harwood got
his knees up! Harwood nailed a brainbuster on Wentz and made
the cover while Wheeler held Xavier on the floor, but Wentz
kicked out! Xavier got back in the ring to dive at Wheeler,
but was met with a rising knee! The 10-minute warning was
announced as Wheeler knocked Reed into the steel steps. He
went to do further damage, but the Young Bucks ran down to
the ringside. Wheeler confronted Matt and Nick Jackson with
a chair on the outside, but back in the ring, the Rascalz
nailed Harwood with a pair of superkicks, followed by
another Hot Fire Flame that flattened Harwood! Wentz covered
Harwood to get the victory! The Rascalz have earned a future
shot at the AEW World Tag Team Championship. The Bucks
raised the hands of The Rascalz on the floor, but GOA ran
out to attack from behind!
Meanwhile, FTR got into it with Matt and Nick’s father at
the barricade, and Stokely threw powder in his face! FTR
shoved their mother out of the way and pulled the younger
brother of the Bucks, Malachi, over the barricade! “Jungle”
Jack Perry tried to run down to help, but was nailed by
Ricochet with a Spirit Gun out of nowhere! In the ring, FTR
hit a spike piledriver on Malachi as GOA made Matt and Nick
watch! FTR, Big Stoke and The Demand taunted the Bucks,
Rascalz and Perry as Collision came to a close!
