We loved Las Vegas so much for AEW Dynamite that we stuck
around for AEW Collision on TNT and streaming on HBO Max! We
were just one week away from Grand Slam Australia, so things
were certainly heating up tonight in Sin City!
In our opening contest, the Young Bucks, Matt and Nick
Jackson, dug deep to beat GOA, Toa Liona and Bishop Kaun, to
advance to the 3-Way AEW World Tag Team Championship #1
Contenders match in their backyard of Ontario, California,
in four days on Dynamite!
The main event saw TNT Champion “Psycho Killer” Tommaso
Ciampa beat Roderick Strong and CMLL World Heavyweight
Champion Claudio Castagnoli to retain the TNT Title. After
the match, “The Protostar” Kyle Fletcher confronted Ciampa.
He challenged him to a TNT Championship match on Dynamite so
he could walk into Grand Slam Australia next weekend and get
a hero’s welcome!
Thekla attacked AEW Women’s World Champion Kris Statlander
and whipped her with a belt, along with some help from
Sisters of Sin, Skye Blue and Julia Hart, but Statlander
turned the tables and decided the stipulation would be a
strap match for the AEW Women’s World Championship on next
week’s Dynamite!
Plus, we saw a chaotic 8-man parking lot fight, there’s a
new boss of The Opps and we got post-match comments from AEW
World Champion MJF and his Grand Slam Australia challenger,
Brody King!

Tag Team Match (Winners Move on to AEW World Tag Team
Championship #1 Contenders Match on Dynamite): Young Bucks
(Matt and Nick Jackson) def. GOA (Bishop Kaun and Toa Liona)
It was a high-stakes matchup to begin our night with a pair
of teams who’ve battled a couple of times this month,
although this would be their first traditional tag team
match. Matt and Liona started things with Liona overpowering
Matt at every turn. Liona even dropped down for some push-
ups, as Matt tagged Nick. Nick ran right into a bodyslam, so
Liona posed to show off his power. That gave Nick the chance
to trip Kaun off the apron and gain some separation from
Liona to tag Matt. The Bucks hit a double dropkick to Liona
and sent him to the floor with a low bridge. Kaun got a pair
of dropkicks as well, followed by an assisted sliced bread
and a knee to the face! The Bucks hit dives to opposite
sides of the ring, but GOA caught both! Liona and Kaun met
in front of the announce desk to smash the Bucks into each
other! Ouch!
Back in the ring, Kaun stomped Matt’s ankle and tagged Liona
back in for a double shoulder block. Kaun and Liona put a
double nerve hold on Matt, so Nick tried to break it up, but
to no avail. Finally, GOA turned their attention to Nick, as
he tried to fight them both off, which wasn’t working out
until Kaun nailed Liona by mistake, and then Liona nailed
Kaun by mistake. Nick knocked GOA to the outside with an
elevated dropkick. Matt hit a pair of boots through the
ropes, but when Nick tried to fly over him to the outside,
GOA caught him and threw him into Matt, who was still draped
over the ropes! Liona hit a running senton on Matt, who was
still on the apron. Kaun followed with a sliding dropkick to
send Matt crashing to the floor.
GOA kept the double-team up with a catapult from Kaun that
sent Matt into a headbutt from Liona! GOA had full control
of this one, as the Bucks couldn’t find a way to combat
their power. Matt struggled to get to his corner over and
over again until he avoided a charge from Kaun and flipped
over the top to hit a stunner onto Liona on the floor! Matt
slid under Kaun and made the tag to Nick! Nick opened up on
Kaun with multiple knee strikes in the corner, followed by a
bulldog. He hopped over the top and caught Liona with a kick
to the jaw, only to springboard back into the ring with a
facebuster on Kaun! Nick jumped back through the ropes to
hit a moonsault from the apron onto Liona, who was still on
the floor. Nick went to the top and connected with a
crossbody on Kaun to get a two-count.
Nick tagged Matt, and they sat Kaun across the second rope
with his head on the top turnbuckle. Liona charged in to
help, but the Bucks moved, and Liona splashed Kaun by
mistake! The Bucks sent Liona to the opposite corner and
followed in, but he sent both of them to the apron. They
responded with stereo kicks to the back of his head. Nick
went to the top and stomped Liona in the back, but wasn’t
done, as he rolled through and pulled Kaun down with a
backstabber! The Bucks went to opposite corners with Nick
nailing a swanton bomb on Liona as Matt dropped an elbow on
Kaun. Kaun kicked out at two!
Liona stopped the Bucks from trying More Bang for Your Buck
on Kaun and then got both Matt and Nick on his back for a
massive Samoan drop! Kaun threw his body over the top onto
the Bucks, but Liona one-upped him by springboarding to the
apron and connecting with a moonsault to the Bucks on the
floor! What athleticism from the big man! Back in the ring,
Kaun put Matt on the top rope and launched him into a spear
from Liona! Kaun caught Nick coming off the top with a
dropkick. GOA hit Matt with an assisted cover, but Matt
kicked out! GOA tried their double crucifix powerbomb, but
Matt shimmied out. Matt said Kaun over the top with a low
bridge, but Kaun swept his leg on the apron. Liona saw that
opportunity and went for a running senton, but missed and
landed hard on the apron.
Nick tagged in and ran across the ring to scale the ropes
with ease before launching himself onto GOA on the floor.
Nick threw Kaun back in for a BTE Trigger, but Kaun moved,
and the Bucks collided knees. Kaun tried a backslide on
Nick, but he slipped out, and the Bucks connected with a BTE
Trigger on the second attempt! Liona broke up the pin just
in time! Liona ate three superkicks and a shot to the gut
before Matt locked in a guillotine. Nick kicked Liona in the
knee, which allowed Matt to complete a DDT! Kaun tried to
roll up Nick, but he rolled out of it, so Kaun clotheslined
him onto the apron. Kaun turned around into the waiting arms
of Matt, who turned him over in a tombstone position as Nick
flipped off the top to plant Kaun in the middle of the ring.
Nick covered Kaun to get the three-count! The Young Bucks
are going home to Ontario, California, for the 3-Way on
Dynamite and are one step closer to getting a shot at the
AEW World Tag Team Titles.
Before the Bucks could celebrate, they were interrupted by
AEW World Tag Team Champions FTR and Big Stoke. Stoke
offered congrats to the Bucks, but couldn’t believe they
thought they would be champions again in 2026. He said they
want to be standing in the ring with Kenny Omega as AEW
World Champion and “Jungle” Jack Perry as AEW National
Champion, so they can pretend it’s the good old days. But
they are the old days for a reason. Stoke said he wishes he
had feeling in his legs so he could get out of his chair and
slap reality back into both of the Bucks. Harwood said for
the better part of 10 years, the Young Bucks have been
chasing FTR’s legacy. Yes, they’ve both been three-time AEW
World Tag Team Champions, but what separates FTR is that
they’ve been 11-time champions the world over. He said good
luck and hoped they would advance, because it would be no
greater pleasure to give them one more loss. Because they
are good, but not FTR good. Top guys, out.
We then looked at how we got to the 3-Way TNT Title match
between TNT Champion Tommaso Ciampa, CMLL World Heavyweight
Champion Claudio Castagnoli and Roderick Strong in our main
event.
Post-Match Comments from Brody King After Dynamite
We went to comments from Brody King after his AEW World
Championship Eliminator victory over AEW World Champion MJF
on Dynamite. He did exactly what he said he would do and
earned his title shot at the Grand Slam Australia. He knows
that people will consider that the biggest win of his
career, and they are right, until next Saturday.
Statlander vs. Thekla Will Be a Strap Match on Dynamite!
Renee Paquette was in the ring to introduce the AEW Women’s
World Champion Kris Statlander. As Statlander continued to
take in the cheers from the crowd on the second rope,
Paquette started to ask her about the stipulation for her
AEW Women’s World Championship rematch against Thekla next
week on Dynamite. However, from the opposite side, Thekla
appeared in her “Toxic Spider” pose, which Paquette saw and
ran for cover! Statlander came off the top rope and walked
into a spear from Thekla! Sisters of Sin, Skye Blue and
Julia Hart, came out to hold Statlander down as Thekla
repeatedly whipped her with her belt. As Thekla continued
whipping Statlander, she said she didn’t care what the
stipulation would be, because the result would still be
toxic! She posed over Statlander with the AEW Women’s World
Championship! As Triangle of Madness went back up the ramp,
Statlander called back out from the ring and called Thekla
“a stupid bitch.” And now Thekla gets to meet “Straplander!”
“Wednesday, you and me…strap match!”
Kazuchika Okada Tries to Inspire Kyle Fletcher
Lexy Nair was backstage with “The Protostar” Kyle Fletcher
and asked him why he didn’t answer TNT Champion Tommaso
Ciampa’s open challenge for tonight after he came out to
applaud Ciampa’s win last week on Collision. Fletcher said
Ciampa is changing the rules of the open challenge by
letting multiple people answer, and Fletcher doesn’t respect
that. He was jumped in line by Castagnoli and Strong for a
TNT Title shot, but before Fletcher could say anything else,
AEW International Champion “The Rainmaker” Kazuchika Okada
walked up. He said they were family and that he cares about
Fletcher’s success, unlike Konosuke Takeshita, who is
focused only on himself and the AEW Continental Title. Okada
wants Fletcher to walk into his home country at Grand Slam
Australia as the TNT Champion. Whoever wins tonight,
Fletcher needs to make it clear that he is next and take his
title back. So he can be a champion, like Okada. Okada
walked away, but came back and said, “PROTOKADA!”
AEW World Trios Champion “The Jet” Kevin Knight def. Scorpio
Sky of SkyFlight
Sky came out on the ramp with Christopher Daniels and Leila
Grey, who is still working her way back from a serious leg
injury, so she returned to the back as Sky and Daniels
continued to the ring. Knight was accompanied by another
third of the AEW World Trios Champions, “Speedball” Mike
Bailey.
Knight and Sky had an extended feeling-out process, with
some chain wrestling, until Knight gained the advantage and
began working on Sky’s bandaged elbow. Sky quickly turned
things back around and put Knight down with a shoulder
tackle, but Knight avoided a stomp by leaping to his feet.
Sky laid down and leapt to his feet just to match Knight.
Sky and Knight traded chops until Sky switched to uppercuts
in the corner. Sky made a mistake, and Knight crotched him
on the top rope before quickly kicking Sky to the floor. Sky
went up to the ramp, so Knight flew over the top and nailed
him with a flying clothesline!
As the match continued, Knight’s athleticism was on full
display until he went for a standing UFO Splash and Sky got
his knees up. Sky hit a running knee lift and a lariat
before putting Knight down with a Sky High powerbomb for a
near-fall! Knight escaped Sky’s grasp, but jumped right into
a neckbreaker combo for another nearfall! Knight caught Sky
with three near-falls before jumping over a lariat attempt
(yes, you read that right) and nailing Sky with a leaping
clothesline! Sky kicked out at two!
Knight went to the top, but Sky met him there with a
superplex, although both men went for a pin on the landing
to no avail. Knight hit a dropkick to send Sky into the
corner, but ate a boot when he charged in. Sky lifted
himself onto the top turnbuckle only for Knight to take him
down with a leaping hurricanrana! Knight hit a springboard
lariat and went back up to crush Sky with a UFO Splash from
halfway across the ring! Knight gets the pinfall victory in
a hard-fought battle! Sky remained in the ring to shake
Knight’s hand.
HOOK is the NEW Boss of The Opps
We went to comments from HOOK, who said it’s obvious that
The Opps are in a much different position today than they
were a few weeks back, when they were on top of the world
with the AEW World Trios Titles and the AEW World Title. All
that is gone now, but he has some breaking news. HOOK said
Samoa Joe is out with an injury, so while Joe is out, he
appointed HOOK as the new boss of The Opps. HOOK takes it as
a great sign of respect and doesn’t take it lightly. He was
captain of every sport he played and was born a leader. He
inspired people.
“You’re not only looking at the greatest second-generation
wrestler of all time, you’re looking at the boss of The
Opps.”
Mina Shirakawa def. Viva Van
Before the match began, we took a look back at Shirakawa and
Van tagging together at NJPW Windy City Riot in April 2024.
The two exchanged holds to open the match until Van escaped
an armbar and did Shirakawa’s signature dance on the mat.
Shirakawa tried to clothesline her, but Van moved and rolled
her for a nearfall, only for Shirakawa to come back with a
slingblade. Van escaped a guillotine and pounced Shirakawa
to the mat.
Shirakawa escaped a straight jacket to get back to her feet
and reversed Van’s offense into a spinning back fist that
connected! She picked Van up for a kick combination and then
caught Van’s leg over the second rope to put her down.
Shirakawa spun in with a tornillo splash that got a two-
count. Shirakawa slammed Van’s knee to the ground and tried
for a figure four, but Van kicked out of it. She stunned
Shirakawa with a pair of strikes and nailed Shirakawa in the
back of the head with an impressive flip kick. Shirakawa
kicked out just in time!
Van got sent to the corner but switched things around and
put Shirakawa on the top turnbuckle. Shirakawa kicked Van
away and nailed a top-rope slingblade. She followed up with
a strike-kick combo, but Van stopped the backfist. Shirakawa
landed the backfist on the second attempt to put Van down
and locked in the figure four leglock to get the submission
victory!
Before Shirakawa made it to the back, the Death Riders made
their entrance for the next match, as Marina Shafir and
Wheeler Yuta got in the ring. At the same time, AEW
Continental Champion Jon Moxley joined commentary.
Mixed Tag Team Match: Marina Shafir & Wheeler Yuta of the
Death Riders def. SkyFlight’s Zayda Steel & Dante Martin
At the bell, Martin sent Yuta to the floor and followed with
a dive to the outside! Back in the ring, Shafir controlled
Steel and dropped her with a stiff kick to the chest. Shafir
tied Steel up like a pretzel and started to spank her
mockingly, so Steel escaped and put Shafir in a rear-naked
choke. Shafir got back to her feet and started to get out of
it, so Steel rolled her up for a two-count. Shafir blocked a
kick and sent Steel to the mat the hard way before taking a
cheap shot at Martin. Yuta tagged in and grabbed Steel, but
she got away and tagged Martin. He came off the top to take
down Yuta and kept the offense up with a pair of strikes and
a springboard dropkick for a near-fall.
Shafir tripped Martin from the outside, which allowed Yuta
to hit a running dropkick to send Martin to the floor. While
Yuta distracted the referee, Shafir put Martin down on the
floor with a judo throw before sending him back in the ring.
Martin found himself in trouble for the next few minutes
until he was able to push Yuta off the second rope and
connect with a desperation flip from the top. As Martin
looked for a tag, Shafir ran around to pull Steel off the
apron. That allowed Yuta to grab Martin for a bridging
German suplex for a two-count. Yuta continued to pound away
on Martin until Yuta made a mistake and dove to the outside.
Martin avoided Shafir and tagged Steel. Steel put Shafir
down with a neckbreaker and scaled the ropes, but Yuta
pulled her down, so Steel clocked him, and Martin pulled
Yuta to the floor. Shafir charged at Steel, but Steel hung
Shafir over the top rope. Steel went back up and came down
on Shafir with a crossbody, but Shafir rolled through and
chucked Steel to the mat. Shafir locked Steel in Mother’s
Milk, and Yuta took out Martin to stop any breakup attempt.
Steel was out, so the referee called for the bell to give
the Death Riders the win.
After the match, Yuta brought an electric razor into the
ring and tried to cut Martin's hair, but thought better of
it and dropped him only to grab Steel’s hair instead!
Luckily, “Timeless” Toni Storm and Orange Cassidy made the
save with Storm wielding scissors! She chased Shafir and
Yuta out of the ring, pointed the scissors at them – and at
Moxley!
Alex Windsor & Jamie Hayter are The Brawling Birds!
We saw the latest steps forward for Windsor and Hayter as a
team, as they enjoyed some beverages together. They were
approached by a stranger who invited himself to join them
and buy them a drink, but he was far too forward. Windsor
slammed his head into the bar, and Hayter smashed a glass
over his head. Hayter realized she had a name for the team,
as we saw a graphic for The Brawling Birds!
Exclusive Post-Match Comments From AEW World Champion MJF
After Dynamite
We went back to Wednesday night, where an incensed MJF had
plenty to say after losing the AEW World Championship
Eliminator to Brody King. MJF said if “Hangman” Adam Page
wants to stick his nose in MJF’s business, then MJF is
praying Page beats Andrade El Ídolo next Saturday at Grand
Slam Australia because he hates his guts. And if Andrade
wins, that’s fun too, because if Andrade calls himself the
“Real Latino Man,” then MJF is going to bring down the
Hebrew Hammer! And Brody might be happy about winning, but
it was a fluke, and the reason he’s talking about Page and
Andrade is that King doesn’t stand a chance. MJF has his
back against the wall, and when that happens, that’s when
the Devil is at his most dangerous.
“You wanna bark, bark boy? Good. Because at Grand Slam
Australia, bark boy, I am going to make you my bitch!”
Singles Match: “The Toxic Spider” Thekla def. Brittnie
Brooks
Thekla put Brooks down with two quick strikes at the bell
and immediately followed with a spear to make very short
work of Brooks for the victory. After the match, Blue and
Hart came out to hold down Brooks, as Thekla whipped her,
just as she did to Statlander earlier in the night.
AEW Continental Champion Jon Moxley is Ready for Konosuke
Takeshita at Grand Slam Australia
Moxley reviewed his history with Takeshita, including losing
to him in the Continental Classic. Takeshita came away with
another victory this past Wednesday on Dynamite against the
Death Riders. Moxley said that when one way doesn’t work,
you try another. Takeshita isn’t the same fresh-faced kid
Moxley used to know. This version is much different, as
Moxley already found out. He said both men are at their
absolute best, and we’ll see that on February 14 at Grand
Slam in Australia.
8-Man Parking Lot Fight: Eddie Kingston, Ortiz & The Rascalz
(Dezmond Xavier and Zachary Wentz) def. Grizzled Young
Veterans (Zack Gibson and James Drake), Big Bill & Bryan
Keith
We heard a horn from the parking lot, as a white SUV pulled
up to meet Grizzled Young Veterans, Big Bill and Bryan
Keith, who were already waiting in front of their car.
Everyone piled out of the car with Kingston throwing a
garbage can full of weapons to start the match! Kingston
swung a hammer at Drake, but missed, and it crashed through
a car window. All eight men were brawling with weapons
amongst cars, as we saw the Las Vegas cityscape in the
background. Bill missed a kick to Wentz and wound up booting
a mirror off a car. He retrieved a brick from his backpack
and chucked it at Wentz, who moved, which meant another
broken window. Wentz wore Bill down with a garbage can lid.
Meanwhile, Ortiz slammed a car hood on Gibson repeatedly
before throwing him into a windshield. Wentz and Xavier were
on top of a limo, so Xavier pushed Wentz off with Hot Fire
Flame onto GYV and Keith. Big Bill came back into the
picture and caught a flying Xavier before slamming him into
the back of the limo. Bill press-slammed Xavier over the
limo!
That completely shifted the fight, as GYV, Bill and Keith
were in total control despite Kingston's wild attempts to
get back into it. Keith worked a pipe wrench into the ribs
of Wentz, who was bleeding from the head. Keith hit Xavier
with a hammer in the side multiple times before throwing him
into the limo, which had smoke billowing out of it. Wentz
threw Keith in the limo and then jumped in himself and
closed the door. The limo started shaking as Kingston came
flying back into the mix with a kendo stick to go after GYV.
Bill came back in to cut him off and went to work on Ortiz.
Keith stumbled out of the smoke-filled limo in a coughing
fit, so Wentz followed behind him with a crescent kick.
Xavier came off the top of the limo with a standing shooting
star press to Keith. The Rascalz put a garbage can over
Keith and hit it with superkicks. Bill saved Drake from a
double-team on top of a car. He followed Wentz onto the hood
of a car and chokeslammed him through the windshield!
Gibson walked over with Xavier on his shoulders, and a
blood-soaked Drake came off the top of the car with a
Doomsday Device! Kingston came flying back in again on what
must have been his third wind to take out GYV. Kingston and
Ortiz chased Bill to the top of the limo and nailed him with
a double suplex! GYV paired off with Kingston and Ortiz, but
quickly took control with a pair of low blows! They choked
Kingston with their scarf, as the referee checked to see if
Kingston was out, but Ortiz made the save with a choke of
his own! Out of nowhere, Isla Dawn, an associate of GYV,
broke a large piece of drywall over Ortiz’s head. GYV picked
up Ortiz so Dawn could hit him with a hammer, but Myron Reed
showed up and dove off a car to take out GYV! Dawn got in
his face and tried to swing the hammer, but Reed ducked and
threw her in a trunk!
Ortiz powerbombed Drake into a windshield, while Kingston
DDTed Gibson onto another car! He covered Gibson on the
windshield to get the three-count and win! All eight men
were clearly in bad shape, but the winning side came
together to leave victorious!
TNT Championship 3-Way Match: “Psycho Killer” Tommaso Ciampa
(c) def. Roderick Strong and CMLL World Heavyweight Champion
Claudio Castagnoli
Before the match, Lexy Nair asked Strong about getting a
title shot in an expected way, with both Strong and
Castagnoli answering Ciampa’s TNT Title open challenge.
Strong said things haven’t been going his way, which is why
change is necessary. That’s why he answered the open
challenge. Former TNT Champion Mark Briscoe showed up and
apologized for interrupting. He appreciates that Strong took
the initiative for this fight, and after battling Ciampa
last week, he really believes Strong has what it takes to
become the TNT Champion. He also believes he can be the TNT
Champion again when he gets another shot. One way or
another, if Strong wins the TNT Title, Briscoe asked Strong
to do him a solid and give “a fellow Conglomerator” the
first shot.
Strong answered, “Hey, thanks for the words of
encouragement, but I’m not in the Conglomeration.”
It was time for our main event! At the bell, all three men
went at it until Castagnoli was sent to the floor, leaving
Strong and Ciampa to engage in a brutal chop battle. Ciampa
sent Strong to the outside, where Castagnoli was waiting to
catch him and dump Strong face-first on the apron.
Castagnoli got in the ring and right in Ciampa’s face. They
traded forearm shots until Ciampa hit two boots to the face,
but Castagnoli asked for more and then stopped a third to
hit an uppercut. Ciampa followed Castagnoli into the ropes
with a boot, but when he tried to follow up, Strong was back
to cut him off with a beautiful dropkick. Castagnoli
immediately dropped Strong with a lariat.
Castagnoli put both men in the corner for a running
uppercut. Still, the advantage didn’t last long, as all
three men continued to counterstrike until Ciampa snatched
Castagnoli and Strong at the same time for a reverse
DDT/flatliner combination! Castagnoli was back up and
grabbed both Ciampa and Strong to suplex them at the same
time, but they fought him off and worked together to suplex
Castagnoli. Strong knocked Ciampa to the apron, where they
battled with chops until Strong knocked Ciampa into the
waiting arms of Castagnoli. However, Strong took advantage
with a pair of boots through the ropes to Castagnoli and
threw him into the guardrail. Strong tried to backdrop
Castagnoli onto the guardrail, so Castagnoli got out of it
and dropped Strong gut-first across the railing.
Castagnoli charged Ciampa, but took a drop toehold into a
chair. Ciampa hit a running knee to Strong, who was still on
the railing and charged back at Castagnoli, but Castagnoli
was ready and press-slammed him onto the announce desk!
Castagnoli did everything he could to leave Strong on the
outside, while he isolated Ciampa in the ring. Castagnoli
pulled Ciampa off the apron for a superplex, but Ciampa
shook free and wound up straddling the top turnbuckle.
Ciampa knocked Castagnoli off the top, right into Strong,
who caught Castagnoli and slammed him face-first to the mat!
CIampa came off the top, but Strong met him with a dropkick.
Strong hit a backbreaker and a tiger driver for a near-fall,
but immediately transitioned into the Strong Hold!
Castagnoli tried to break it up with a boot to Strong’s
face, but Strong held on only for Castagnoli to uppercut him
out of the grasp.
Strong stopped Castagnoli from suplexing Ciampa, so he and
Ciampa once again tried to suplex Castagnoli. However,
Castagnoli blocked it and suplexed Ciampa and Strong
simultaneously as we hit the 10-minute mark of the match.
Castagnoli hung Ciampa up on the top rope and went to the
outside to nail Strong with a running uppercut against the
guardrail. Castagnoli got back on the apron only for Ciampa
to drop him with the Willow’s Bell draping DDT, followed by
the Fairy Tale Ending, but Castagnoli kicked out to keep the
match alive! Ciampa dropped his knee pad for a bicycle knee,
so Castagnoli got up and caught him for a swing, which
Strong punctuated with a kick. Strong went after Castagnoli,
but got caught with an uppercut! Strong kicked out!
Strong escaped the Neutralizer and hit two quick knee
strikes. He sat on Castagnoli for the cover, but never saw
Ciampa coming across the ring with a bicycle kick that
landed on Strong’s head! Ciampa covered Strong for the
three-count and retained his TNT Championship!
“The Protostar” Kyle Fletcher made his way to the ring,
picked up the TNT Title and handed it to Ciampa. He grabbed
a microphone and asked Ciampa how it felt to be the TNT
Champion and to be All Elite. Then, he asked Ciampa how it
felt to know he’ll never fill Fletcher’s shoes. Fletcher
introduced himself as the greatest TNT Champion of all time,
and he was ready to take it back from Mark Briscoe, but
Ciampa messed with those plans. Fletcher said he wants to
walk into his hometown one week from tonight and get the
hero’s welcome he deserves at Grand Slam Australia! So he
has a challenge for Ciampa: Next week on Dynamite, for the
first time, Fletcher vs. Ciampa for the TNT Championship!
Ciampa held up the TNT Title in acceptance of the match and
went to leave, but Fletcher had one more thing to say.
“Hold on a second, mate. You said you came here because this
is where the best wrestle? Next Wednesday, you find out what
the best really looks like.”
Ciampa walked up the ramp and looked back at Fletcher before
he held his TNT Title high as Collision came to a close!
