WWE referee Daphanie LaShaunn’s family suffered a tremendous
tragedy this week with a house fire that caused the lives of
four of her family members.
Her grandfather, grandmother, uncle, and cousin all
tragically passed away on February 4.
“My heart aches. Last night I lost my grandma, grandpa,
uncle, and cousin in a house fire. We were at the scene til
the very end,” the ref wrote in a post on Instagram. “My
soul is hollow right now. Please pray for my family as we
navigate this unbelievable nightmare.”
She said that planning four funerals will be tough and the
family of her cousin, which includes five kids, have no
found themselves without a home.
A GoFund Me campaign has been launched to help her family,
with the target of $90,000. As of this writing, over $75,000
have been collected, with several of her WWE family chipping
in large amounts of money.
