With Ava’s departure as NXT General Manager, there was an open
spot on yesterday’s broadcast and Shawn Michaels appointed
Robert Stone as the interim General Manager.
The 42-year-old has been part of NXT since 2019 and has served
both as a manager and also as an assistant to Ava. He also
does color commentary for EVOLVE along with Peter Rosenberg.
Ava, real name Simone Johnson, left the company last week and
was not mentioned on yesterday’s broadcast.
The eldest daughter of Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson raised some
eyebrows a few days ago when she posted an anti-ICE and Trump
Administration post on X. She later deactivated her Twitter
account.
