During the live Smackdown broadcast on Netflix, which aired
everywhere except in the United States, there was a
production mistake that might have spoiled the first entrant
of the Rumble.
During Axiom’s entrance for his match against Johnny
Gargano, the lower third graphic did not show Axiom’s name,
but rather the Rumble graphic for entrant #1…Bron Breakker.
The image was quickly taken down and replaced with the
proper graphic for the match.
Smackdown won’t air in the United States until its regular
8PM ET time slot so this will be fixed for the taped
version.
It will be interesting to see if Breakker is indeed entrant
#1 in tomorrow’s men’s Royal Rumble match or if this was
just a “test.”
