Jeremy Lambert reported last night on Fightful.com that the
AEW TNT Title match with Mark Briscoe defending his title
against El Clon will no longer on the January 24th episode
of AEW Collision, because that Collision episode had to be
taped last night due to impending weather, rather than
airing live from Arlington, TX.
Instead, the match will take place on the January 28th
episode of AEW Dynamite.
Tony Khan made the announcement on social media.
Khan stated that whoever wins between El Clon and Briscoe
will defend the title on the January 31st episode of
Collision when AEW returns to the Esports Stadium in
Arlington, TX.
The change is being made due to Saturday’s live episode of
Collision being canceled due to impending winter storm in
Texas, parts of the South and on the East Coast. Saturday's
Collision was instead taped after last night's episode of
AEW Dynamite.
