New Japan Pro-Wrestling’s Jado Confirmed to Co-Lead Training
Seminar in New Zealand Ahead of ‘New Dawn Rising’
Auckland, New Zealand – NJPW TAMASHII has confirmed that
Jado, a respected figure in Japanese professional wrestling,
will join Don Fale in leading a 2-day training seminar at
the NJPW New Zealand Dojo (NZ Dojo) on Wednesday 27 and
Thursday 28 August.
Known globally for his legendary tag team partnership with
Gedo, Jado is a former IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team
Champion, former IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion, and a key
figure behind NJPW’s long-term creative and developmental
direction. As a senior NJPW official, he brings decades of
in-ring experience and elite-level training knowledge to the
Oceania region.
Jado will also attend NJPW TAMASHII: New Dawn Rising on
Friday 29 August at TAPAC, Western Springs, and LION’S DEN
on Saturday 30 August at the NZ Dojo, Ōtāhuhu, where he will
observe matches, assess emerging talent, and support NZ Dojo
wrestlers competing under the TAMASHII banner.
The seminar is part of NJPW TAMASHII’s continued commitment
to developing talent across the South Pacific, providing
access to Japanese Strong Style coaching and the South
Pacific Fighting Spirit that defines the NZ Dojo system.
This is a rare opportunity for aspiring and experienced
wrestlers across Oceania to train directly under two of
NJPW’s most influential mentors: Don Fale, founder of the NZ
Dojo and member of House of Torture, and Jado, a cornerstone
of NJPW’s global evolution.
