Japanese star Giulia has regained the WWE Women’s United
States title after she defeated Chelsea Green on last
night’s episode of Smackdown.
Giulia won the title after she hit the Northern Lights Bomb
finisher on the champ following some interference from Kiana
James and also Alba Fyre.
This ends Green’s second stint with the title after 56 days.
Giulia’s first reign lasted 133 days but was super
underwhelming, with limited TV time given during that time.
Giulia, who is considered one of the best female wrestlers
on the planet and a huge star in Japan, has yet to click
with the audience on the main roster, a stark contrast from
her NXT days.
