ALL ELITE WRESTLING DYNAMITE/TBS/HBO MAX WINTER IS COMING: December 10 report

Posted on 12/11/125 by Bob Magee

AEW Dynamite Winter is Coming was back for our yearly
tradition, live on TBS and HBO Max from Atlanta, Georgia.
The AEW World Championship was on the line, and the 2025
Continental Classic continued, but first, we saw the finals
of the AEW Women’s World Tag Team Championship Tournament!

To open tonight’s Dynamite, The Babes of Wrath made history
by defeating Timeless Love Bombs to become the inaugural AEW
Women’s World Tag Team Champions! In the main event, Samoa
Joe did everything he could to keep the AEW World
Championship from Eddie Kingston and succeeded, although
Kingston didn’t make it easy. And earlier in the night,
“Hangman” Adam Page said he’d be waiting for the winner at
AEW Worlds End!

Speaking of Page, hell froze over, as he and Swerve
Strickland successfully teamed to defeat Katsuyori Shibata
and Powerhouse Hobbs of The Opps in a wild Tornado Tag Match
that took a while to officially get started after the two
teams fought through the concession area!

And to begin the third week of the Continental Classic, we
saw Gold League action, as Kazuchika Okada moved into a tie
for first place with six points thanks to a win over
“Jungle’ Jack Perry while Kyle Fletcher took his first loss
of the tournament to “Speedball” Mike Bailey, who got on the
board with his first three points! Plus, so much more!

Here's everything that happened on AEW Dynamite Winter is
Coming in Atlanta, Georgia, for December 10, 2025, including
your full results and match recaps.

AEW Dynamite Winter is Coming Recap Tonight for Atlanta

AEW Women’s World Tag Team Championship Final: The Babes of
Wrath (Willow Nightingale and Harley Cameron) def. Timeless
Love Bombs (“Timeless” Toni Storm and Mina Shirakawa) -
BABES OF WRATH ARE THE INAUGURAL AEW WOMEN’S WORLD TAG TEAM
CHAMPIONS

Mina and Harley opened up this historic matchup with a back-
and-forth of reversals that didn’t let either woman take an
advantage until Cameron hit a slingblade to take both to the
mat. Willow and Toni tagged in at the same time to a massive
ovation from the crowd! They exchanged blows until Cameron
and Shirakawa entered and did the same. Timeless Love Bombs
wound up on the apron, so Willow used Harley to dropkick
them to the ground. Willow followed with a running
cannonball off the apron to wipe out Storm and Shirakawa
once again!

Back in the ring, Willow dropped Harley onto Storm in an
assisted wheelbarrow slam, but Storm kicked out at two.
Cameron got snatched by Shirakawa on the ropes, so Storm
took advantage and dumped Cameron on her head! Storm stayed
on the attack until Mina tagged back in and Storm tossed her
onto Cameron from her shoulders. Cameron kicked out just in
time but was clearly weakened. Cameron fought out of Mina’s
grasp with a side suplex and tagged in Willow! She lit up
both members of the Love Bombs with chops and then ran
through them with a double clothesline. Storm got up, so
Willow POUNCED her through the ropes and out of the ring!

Nightingale wore down the smaller Shirakawa with her power
for the next few minutes, as Storm begged for a tag. Cameron
tagged in for a running shining wizard that nearly won the
match, but Shirakawa wasn’t done yet! Cameron was locked in
a rear chinlock, but the crowd got behind Mina to energize
her out of the hold. Nightingale tagged in and laid out Mina
with a shot to stop her momentum. Mina came back with a
massive reversal into a DDT that allowed Storm to tag back
in, and she was on fire! Storm dropkicked both of the Babes
and dropped Cameron with a DDT. Before Storm could lock in
the TCM Chicken Wing, Nightingale broke it up. Shirakawa
broke through a double-team and locked Cameron in a figure-
four while DDTing Nightingale! What unbelievable offense in
this historic match!

Storm and Nightingale pushed the momentum of the figure-four
back and forth to reverse the pain until Nightingale tried
an Indian Death Lock, but the submissions were broken, and
everyone fought to their feet. A headbutt exchange led by
Storm and Nightingale nearly put everyone down, but Cameron
and Shirakawa used whatever they had left to hit
slingblades, and our finalists were on the mat!

Storm escaped Nightingale on the top rope and sprinted
across the ring to save Shirakawa from Cameron in the same
predicament. Storm held Cameron for Shirakawa, who skied off
the top with a slingblade! Storm immediately followed with a
Storm Zero, but Nightingale saved the match with a senton on
the pin attempt! Storm knocked Willow to the outside, but
Willow blocked a DDT and hit a release Northern Lights
suplex on the floor!

Back in the ring, Shirakawa and Cameron exchanged strikes,
which Shirakawa won with a kick and backfist combo to put
Cameron on the mat. Mina picked Cameron up for the Glamorous
Driver, but Cameron turned it into Her Finishing Move! She
made the tag to Willow, who nailed Mina with a Babe with the
Powerbomb to get the pinfall victory!

The Babes of Wrath have made history as the INAUGURAL AEW
Women’s World Tag Team Champions! Congratulations to Willow
Nightingale and Harley Cameron!

Renee Paquette joined the NEW AEW Women’s World Tag Team
Champions in the ring to get their championship thoughts.
Nightingale said, “First feeling? Tired. That was a hard
fight. Harley’s mouth is all bloody. It isn’t just lipstick,
folks. But I, I’m proud of myself, of course, but I am so
proud of Harley Cameron, and it’s been a rough year of
knowing who’s there for me and who’s not, but she is so
great, and she has been, in here and out.”

Cameron continued, “Willow and I were in the ring in my
second-ever match. I can’t believe I’m next to you today and
we’re the first-ever ALL ELITE WOMEN TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS!”

“WHAT ARE WE? BABES! AND WHAT DO WE HAVE? WRATH! BABES OF
WRATH!”

The Babes celebrated with many well-deserved fireworks. The
celebration stopped when Storm and Shirakawa re-entered the
ring, but it was only to offer handshakes of
congratulations.

Samoa Joe Says Eddie Kingston Will Get What He Wants

Powerhouse Hobbs, HOOK and Katsuyori Shibata backed up Samoa
Joe backstage as he addressed Eddie Kingston. He said his
time has come. This is what you wanted. You wanted the
honest Samoa Joe. The person whose footsteps you followed.
But that person was standing in front of Eddie the entire
time. Joe’s always been that guy.

“But Eddie, the man who’s gonna beat your ass tonight is
going to show you the reality of what this business truly
is.”

Jon Moxley Shows the Death Riders Will March On

Marina Shafir, Wheeler Yuta and Daniel Garcia were gathered
somewhere in a stairwell, as Jon Moxley said he was feeling
alive even though his back was increasingly against the
wall. But even if there’s one grain of sand to stand on, he
can score. He can score big. Moxley says you need the right
circumstances to try? He fights every day for them because
the Death Riders are constantly chasing the dragon. Garcia
said they are the hungriest, and if you want something, you
have to take it every single time.

Continental Classic Gold League: AEW Unified Champion “The
Rainmaker” Kazuchika Okada (6 points) def. “Jungle” Jack
Perry (0 points)

In his first match, taking the place of the injured Darby
Allin, Jack Perry told Renee Paquette that he’s going to
soak up the moment of this match, as it’s his first AEW
singles match in more than a year and his Continental
Classic debut. With Okada in the match, Don Callis joined
the commentary desk in a strictly announcer role as per the
Continental Rules.

Perry attacked Okada right at the bell and forced him into
the corner before sending Okada to the outside with head
scissors! He followed with a dive that found its Rainmaker
target and then tossed Okada into the guardrail. Okada
reversed Perry into the opposite guardrail, but Perry fired
out with a dropkick right to Okada’s face! What a start for
Perry!

Perry rolled Okada in to get a two count. Okada caught a
charging Perry and put him on the top rope, so Perry came
off with an elbow that connected! That was good for another
near-fall. Perry mounted Okada in the corner for 10 punches
and flipped the middle finger, but Okada escaped and
dropkicked Perry all the way to the floor, who hit with a
sickening thud. Okada followed out and tossed Perry over the
rail into the crowd. He draped Perry over the rail and
dropped him face-first on the floor with a DDT!

With Okada in firm control, the crowd cheered Perry back to
his feet in the ring, but Okada quickly dropped him back to
the mat with a forearm. Perry tried to fight up again, so
Okada dropped him with a bigger forearm. Perry threw even
more shots, which only angered Okada, who unloaded with more
shots until Perry came back with a flying clothesline out of
nowhere!

Both men stayed down until Perry stopped Okada in the corner
with a back elbow. Okada charged back after, but Perry
flipped over him and caught Okada with a German suplex!
Perry hit a spectacular DDT for another two-count! Okada
stopped Perry’s momentum with a neckbreaker over his leg and
a body slam, followed by his patented elbow from the top!
Okada hit the Rainmaker Finger Pose and picked up Perry for
the Rainmaker, but Perry escaped and went for a Poisonrana,
although Okada was ready for it and nailed a dropkick!

Perry avoided another Rainmaker attempt with a superkick and
a poisonrana! Perry ran his knee into a downed Okada, which
nailed him right in the head! Okada kicked out at the last
moment! Perry tried to lock in a choke, so Okada bit him to
evade it. Okada went for a tombstone, so Perry bit him in
the crotch to escape. A taste of Okada’s own medicine! Or
something like that.

Perry got the Snaretrap in on the second try, and Okada was
in major trouble! Okada made it to the ropes just in time to
break the hold. Okada grabbed a chair on the floor, so Perry
knocked it away and returned Okada to the ring. Okada got a
backslide, but Perry rolled over and ate a Rainmaker! Okada
kept wrist control, picked Perry up for another, so Perry
ducked and held on to the ropes to avoid a dropkick. Perry
charged, so Okada turned the momentum into an Emerald
Flosion! He grabbed Perry by the waist and hit a second
Rainmaker to get the pinfall and earn three points! Okada
moves to six points and joins the top of the Gold League
table!

The Don Callis Family came out to celebrate, and Callis had
the mic to say something important. Callis had Perry stand
up and told him that it was a fantastic match and the
toughest Okada had had in a long time. There’s no shame in
losing, and maybe the million dollars he tried to give to
the Young Bucks, he should have given to another talent. He
said Perry is great, but he lacks focus and direction and
could use a family. So he’s offering Perry a special signing
bonus of the Young Bucks’ money, which he held up in a
duffel bag. He said it’s a great offer, and he needs an
answer, so what are you waiting for? Remember, there are
seven of us and one of you. Callis gave Perry the mic as the
Family urged him on while the crowd tried to sway Perry the
other way.

“For the second time tonight, it looks like I’m gonna bite
off more than I can chew…”

And Perry went on the attack! He was quickly subdued until
Luchasaurus ran down, but stopped at the apron. With the
Callis Family focused on Luchasaurus, Matt and Nick Jackson
attacked from behind with chairs! They cleaned house until
Okada begged off from his knees, so the Bucks hit a BTE
Trigger! The Bucks and Jurassic Express trapped Callis until
Konosuke Takeshita stepped in front of Callis to eat a pair
of superkicks! Rocky Romero got a pair for his troubles
while Callis was pulled out of the ring!

In the back, we saw The Conglomeration celebrating with the
NEW AEW Women’s World Tag Team Champions, Babes of Wrath.
Even Timeless Love Bombs joined the celebration despite
losing in the tournament final.

Mercedes Moné’s Bad Beats

We saw a review of Mercedes Moné’s recent “bad beats,”
including losing to AEW Women’s World Champion Kris
Statlander at Full Gear and losing the ROH Women’s World TV
Title to Red Velvet last weekend at ROH Final Battle. She
bounced back with a successful TBS Championship defense
against Lelia Grey the next night on Collision, but her
frustrations were evident before, during and after the
match.

Eddie Kingston is Ready for Samoa Joe

Renee Paquette asked Kingston how he was feeling before
facing Samoa Joe for the AEW World Title tonight in the main
event.

“Nervous, it’s good to have fear. It keeps you on your toes.
But what I’ve been really thinking about is the fact that
the GOAT of pro wrestling, Terry Funk, today is the 50th
anniversary of him winning the world championship. And I
know Terry’s watching. I hope my mom and dad are watching.
See, now I’m getting too emotional.”

Paquette said we’d seen Kingston be emotional throughout
this whole thing.

“Well, because you don’t know how many times you’re gonna
have a shot. I’m already 0-2 in World Title matches, and you
just don’t know. I’m really trying hard to do this because I
wanna crash out right now, but I have respect for you. Look,
Joe, I know you’re watching, and you’re stretching, getting
ready with all your homies and HOOK. You’re gonna fight for
your life, dog. I ain’t going down easy.”

TNT Champion Mark Briscoe Confronted by Daniel Garcia

Tony Schiavone interviewed Briscoe in the ring ahead of his
TNT Championship match with Daniel Garcia this Saturday at
Collision Winter is Coming in Cardiff, Wales. He wanted to
deliver a clear, concise message to his haters and doubters,
“Y’all can kiss my big, white ass!”

He said it’s one thing to become a champion, but another to
reign and defend the championship. Before he could say much
else, we heard the nasal voice of Wheeler Yuta. He made his
way to the ring with Marina Shafir and Daniel Garcia and
insulted Briscoe the entire way. Garcia complimented Yuta’s
insults toward Briscoe, but then stood toe-to-toe with
Briscoe. He said everything about Briscoe is sad, but it’ll
be more sad when Garcia beats him for the TNT Title to
become a two-time champion, and Briscoe has to figure out
how to provide for his family with a broken leg.

Briscoe said they might be fighting for the title this
Saturday in Cardiff, but they shouldn’t deprive the people
of Atlanta with a fight tonight! Garcia tried to start
something, so Briscoe nailed him with a right hand! Shafir
and Yuta held Garcia back and took him out of the ring.

AEW Women’s World Champion Kris Statlander Chases Off the
Triangle

Backstage, we saw Triangle of Madness beating up members of
the women’s locker room until AEW Women’s World Champion
Kris Statlander hit the scene with a chair to fight them
away, as Thekla, Julia Hart and Skye Blue fled from the
champ.

Tornado Tag Match: “Hangman” Adam Page & Swerve Strickland
def. AEW World Trios Champions Powerhouse Hobbs & Katsuyori
Shibata of The Opps

Hobbs and Shibata headed to the ring, backed up by several
members of the Opps Dojo. Hangman and Swerve both entered
through the crowd, so the Dojo members were sent after them
to attack before the match. Page and Strickland were ready
with chains and a staple gun! Shibata and Hobbs followed
into the crowd, and they fought Page and Strickland into the
concession area! Hangman and Hobbs battled near the bar, so
Hobbs snagged a couple of beers. However, he couldn’t enjoy
it, as Hangman put him through a table! The bartender high-
fived Page and gave him a beer! Shibata kicked Swerve off a
chair elsewhere, as the action was happening everywhere but
the ring, as the match hadn’t even started yet!

All four men finally fought their way back down the stairs
and into the ringside area! Hobbs and Page got in the ring,
so the bell finally rang! Tornado Tag rules were now in
effect! Hobbs and Shibata double-teamed Page by alternating
suplexes and bodyslams. Page was smushed in the corner by a
Hobbs charge, and Shibata finished the attack with a running
dropkick. Hobbs powered Page back down to the mat, which
allowed Shibata to hit a running PK. Hobbs dropped Page with
a punch and went to the apron while Shibata held Page.
Prince Nana got on the apron to distract Hobbs, so Hobbs
never saw Swerve nail him with a kick. Swerve and Page dove
to opposite sides of the ring to take out Hobbs and Shibata
on the floor! Page took out Hobbs with a clothesline to the
floor.

Back in the ring, Swerve had his way with Shibata until
Hobbs stopped a House Call by pulling Swerve to the floor.
Shibata ducked a Buckshot Lariat attempt and nailed Page
with a low blow. On the outside, Swerve sent Hobbs up the
stairs while Shibata had Page in an armbar. Swerve came off
the top with a stomp to break it up!

All four men exchanged blows until Hobbs missed a charge and
nailed Shibata! Page and Swerve nailed Hobbs with a double
rolling elbow. Swerve went to the top for a 450 splash that
got all of Shibata! A forearm from Page sent Hobbs into
Swerve for some beautiful and unlikely double team offense!
Page and Swerve powerbombed Hobbs from the apron to the
floor! Page came back in with a Buckshot Lariat on Shibata,
and Swerve finished things off with a House Call to earn the
victory!

Don Callis Wants a Money Match with Young Bucks

After the Young Bucks took possession of what Don Callis
calls “his money” earlier in the night, he threatened them
with legal action but decided to challenge them to a Trios
Match with three of his Family members against the Bucks and
a partner of their choosing, with the winners taking home
all $1,000,000! “If you grow a set, accept.”

Big Stoke Says Bang Bang Gang Get Their Title Shot in
Manchester

Stokely ran down Austin Gunn and Juice Robinson before
revealing they were getting their shot at FTR and the AEW
World Tag Team Championships next week on Dynamite in
Manchester, England, but they won’t be checking their bags
with the titles on their way home. Top Guys, out!

Continental Classic Gold League Match: “Speedball” Mike
Bailey (3 points) def. “The Protostar” Kyle Fletcher (6
points)

This was a first-time meeting in AEW, as Fletcher came into
the match in a tie with Okada at the top of the Gold League
with six points. Bailey frustrated Fletcher in the opening
minutes, as he continued to go for pinfalls, which sent
Fletcher to the outside for a breather. After stalling,
Fletcher returned to the ring and started stomping Bailey to
the mat. Bailey used his agility to escape Fletcher and sent
him to the floor with a head scissors. Fletcher followed
through the ropes with a hurricanrana! Bailey leapt to the
top, but Fletcher was ready and caught the crossbody, which
he quickly comboed into a backbreaker and slam. That earned
a lot of praise from Bryan Danielson on commentary.

Bailey stopped a Fletcher charge with a boot from the
corner, followed by a lightning-quick dropkick from the top.
Bailey continued to pepper Fletcher with kicks, so Fletcher
charged at him and fell to the floor. Bailey took advantage
with a springboard moonsault, and he was sensing victory! He
threw Fletcher back in the ring, so Fletcher rolled out the
other side. Fletcher stopped Bailey with a thrust kick, and
the two fought near the railing until Fletcher hit a falling
Michinoku Driver while standing on the top of the guardrail.
Both men went crashing to the floor!

Fletcher now had a clear advantage and got Bailey back in
the ring, where he continued to punish Fletcher. They fought
on the apron, and it looked like Fletcher had Bailey in
trouble with another thrust kick, only for Bailey to take
Fletcher down. Bailey moonsaulted onto Fletcher knees-first
on the apron! Bailey was leaving it all out there!

Bailey got Fletcher on the top and took him off with a
hurricanrana. Bailey returned to the top and went for a
shooting star press, only to come down on Fletcher’s knees.
Fletcher immediately took advantage with a lawn dart and a
high-angle powerbomb, which looked like the end, but Bailey
kicked out! Fletcher collapsed for a few moments, only to
rise back up with vicious kicks to Bailey. The two traded
loud chops until they both feigned kicks, with Fletcher
connecting first, followed by a half-and-half suplex. Bailey
countered Fletcher in midair into a near-fall. The two
traded reversals until Bailey turned a powerbomb into a
hurricanrana for a two-count with five minutes to go! Bailey
stayed on the attack and hit a massive head kick, and now it
was Fletcher showing resilience with a late kickout. Bailey
hit The Funtime Adventure, and somehow Fletcher kicked out
to the shock of Bailey and the crowd!

Bailey went for a roundhouse, but Fletcher was ready with a
thrust kick. Bailey came back with a thrust kick and
spinkick of his own to send Fletcher reeling into the
corner. Bailey hit The Ultima Weapon from the top to
Fletcher’s back, but Fletcher kicked out again! What a
match.
Bailey tried the Ultima Weapon on the floor, but Fletcher
missed, and Bailey landed with a thud! Fletcher quickly
grabbed him for an apron powerbomb and chucked him in the
ring to stay on the offense. A brainbuster quickly followed
a rising kick to the corner, and BAILEY KICKED OUT! FLETCHER
IS STUNNED!

Somehow Bailey got a reversal into a near-fall and the two
traded pin attempts until Bailey trapped Fletcher for a
three count out of nowhere with one minute left in the time
limit! Bailey has earned his first three points and given
Fletcher his first loss!

Hangman Wants the AEW World Title At Worlds End

Renee Paquette said after teaming with Swerve Strickland, it
feels like hell has truly frozen over, so what’s next for
Page? He said it’s what’s always in front of him, the AEW
Men’s World Championship! He’ll be watching Eddie and Joe
tonight, and regardless of who wins, he’ll be coming for
them and his World Championship at Worlds End!

The Young Bucks Find Their Third Man

Matt and Nick Jackson offered a spot in their million-dollar
Trios Match against the Don Callis Family to Luchasaurus,
but he said no and pointed to Kenny Omega’s locker room
door. The Bucks knocked, and he answered. They made him the
same offer, and while he said that’s a lot of money, with
Don Callis involved, he’d do it for free. The match is on
for Manchester!

AEW World Championship: Samoa Joe (c) def. Eddie Kingston

The crowd was red hot for Kingston, as HOOK came to the ring
with Joe. As Joe and Kingston measured each other up at the
bell, HOOK got caught trying to grab Kingston’s leg and was
ejected from the ringside area! Joe quickly dumped Kingston
on his head with a brutal suplex and stayed on the
challenger with quick shots. Kingston fought through and
started to get his own offense rolling with a big lariat
that took Joe off his feet!

Kingston and Joe traded chops until Kingston got control and
worked over Joe in the corner. This was an absolute slugfest
from the get-go! Kingston alternated head and body shots
before putting Joe down with an uppercut. Kingston kicked
Joe up to his feet and asked Joe for more, so Joe answered!
Kingston peppered him with slaps, so Joe did the same, only
for Kingston to floor him with a clothesline as the crowd
chanted, “EDDIE!” Joe avoided Eddie in the corner, which
turned the tide. Joe unloaded on Kingston in the corner
before hitting his patented facewash boot across Kingston’s
face!

The crowd tried to will Kingston back into it, as he
struggled to stay away from Joe’s continuous shots. Kingston
got back to his feet and managed to chop Joe twice to set up
a pair of lariats, but when he went for a third, Joe was
ready with a massive powerslam! Joe picked Kingston up with
knees to the chest, yet that seemed to wake Kingston up for
spurts of strikes, only for Joe to take him back down to the
mat. Joe ran at Kingston, but Kingston caught him in a head-
and-neck suplex that put Joe right on his head. Joe kicks
out!

Joe got back up to hit a fireman’s carry slam and locked in
an STF, so Kingston bit his way out of it! Kingston nailed a
DDT, but Joe rolled to the floor to avoid the cover.
Kingston threw Joe into the ring to set up for his spinning
backfist, but Joe blocked it, and Kingston turned it into a
cutter! Kingston went for another backfist only to swing
right into the Coquina Clutch, which Joe locked in to get
Kingston to pass out for the successful AEW World
Championship defense!
