The recently-returned AJ Lee was the special guest of
Stephanie McMahon’s What’s Your Story? podcast, a podcast
which dropped today.
This was the first podcast Lee has done since she returned
to WWE in September of this year and it was a bit ironic
that her first one would be with McMahon, who Lee
aggressively went after on X in 2015 on an issue with equal
pay while still in WWE.
McMahon said that AJ was very clear that she would love to
do the podcast on one condition: that they would address
what they went through in the past.
“I’d love to jump right into that,” Lee said.
“I was actually happy that you posted that but I wasn’t
happy that it was directed him because it wasn’t anything I
had direct control over,” McMahon replied.
