TNT Championship Match: Kyle Fletcher def. Tomohiro Ishii

The collision between TNT Champion Kyle Fletcher and
Tomohiro Ishii began with both men going nose-to-nose in the
center of the ring. Fletcher struck first with a forearm,
triggering an extended exchange of heavy shots until a
single blow from the champion staggered Ishii. They traded
shoulder tackles, with Ishii finally dropping Fletcher with
a lariat. A rapid series of counters followed, Fletcher
ducking an enzuigiri before both men retreated to opposite
corners. Fletcher rolled to the floor to regroup.

Back inside, Ishii chopped away at the champion, but
Fletcher fired back with one massive chop that forced Ishii
to a knee. Fletcher sent Ishii into the corner, only for the
challenger to explode out with a shoulder tackle. Ishii
followed with more chops in the corner, but Fletcher broke
free with a big boot to the jaw and a scoop slam. Ishii
recovered to land a Saito suplex, but Fletcher regained
control with a devastating Michinoku Driver.

Coming out of the break, Ishii rocked Fletcher with a
leaping headbutt on the top rope before hitting a superplex
for a near fall. The battle spilled to the apron, where
Fletcher blasted Ishii with two sharp kicks to the jaw
before delivering a punishing brainbuster on the edge of the
ring. Back in the ring, Fletcher connected with a top-rope
flying elbow for two.

Fletcher aimed for another knockout kick, but Ishii
countered with a German suplex and an enzuigiri. The two
traded forearms until Fletcher floored Ishii with a lariat
and another big kick in the corner. The champion set up for
an avalanche brainbuster, but Ishii slipped free and drilled
Fletcher with a running powerbomb.

The match built to a fever pitch as both men countered
suplex attempts. Fletcher hit a high knee in the corner and
a powerbomb for two, then blasted Ishii with a kick to the
midsection and another to the head. Ishii answered with a
lariat out of the corner, but Fletcher absorbed it and
immediately planted the challenger with the sheer drop
brainbuster to secure the pinfall and retain the TNT
Championship.

After retaining the TNT Championship, Kyle Fletcher took the
microphone in Roanoke and immediately framed the moment as
historic: “Oh, Roanoke, Virginia, you have just witnessed
history.” He called the defense “the very first offense in
what will go down as the greatest title reign in AEW
history,” and positioned Tomohiro Ishii as “the latest
bonafide legend around the world that I have mopped the
floor with.”

Pivoting to what’s next, Fletcher said, “And that is where I
start thinking about Forbidden Door.” Linking Ishii to his
own past abroad, he continued, “And being in here with
Ishiimakes me think about my new Japan days.” Then came the
challenge: “New Japan, I want you to send your pound for
pound best at Forbidden Door to face me for the TNT
Championship,” Fletcher declared.

He closed with a blunt prediction of the outcome: “But
whoever it is does not matter because the result will be the
same. I will be holding this championship high above my
head. And you and everyone around the world will have no
choice but to say my full name.”

Don Callis Challenges New Japan to Step Up to Kyle Fletcher

Moments after Kyle Fletcher’s successful title defense, Don
Callis delivered a backstage message aimed squarely at New
Japan Pro Wrestling. Callis opened by tying Fletcher’s win
over Tomohiro Ishii to a bigger mission: “I’m so happy that
Kyle Fletcher has beaten the great ishii and embarked on his
own journey to become the greatest TNT champion of all time
to fulfill the destiny of Kyle Fletcher. And it felt so good
to me to beat a New Japan talent that I feel like I’d like a
little more.”

Positioning himself as a longtime player in NJPW’s history,
Callis continued, “You see, I had a big role to play in the
success of New Japan several years ago. It’s why they gave
me this one of a kind tie that I’m wearing tonight, because
I’m feeling all things New Japan. In fact, let me send a
little message out to the management team at New Japan Pro
Wrestling.”

Then came the direct challenge and the when-and-where:
“We’re gonna be here next week in Cincinnati. I would love
it if you would send your best to face Kyle Fletcher.”

Callis ended with a threat and a promise: “What are you
afraid of, New Japan? Send me someone for Kyle and after
he’s done embarrassing them. I will take off this one of a
kind tie and I will choke whoever you send into oblivion as
Kyle Fletcher and I march on into history.”

Forbidden Door Qualifier Match Announced

After those comments from Don Callis, Tony Schiavone
announced that coming up this Wednesday on Dynamite, we
would see a 4-Way Qualifier Match between Hechicero, Daniel
Garcia, Lee Moriarty and Nigel McGuiness, with the winner
advancing to Forbidden Door to face IWGP World Heavyweight
Champion Zack Sabre Jr.

GOA and Ricochet Cause Chaos Backstage

Cameras caught chaos in the backstage area as Toa Liona and
Bishop Kaun, flanked by Ricochet, mauled multiple
bystanders. Voices pleaded, “Hey. Hey. Stop. Stop. Please,
please stop.” Moments later, more shouts: “Guys, guys, guys,
guys, guys.”

Ricochet stepped into frame and delivered the message
himself: “You see, I have all of this ammo, I have all this
firepower, and you think that I'm not about to use it? My
patience, my patience is wearing thin because I have been
nothing but kind and respectful since I stepped foot into
AEW when we, we have been very transparent about our goal,
and we have no issue dismantling everything in our path
until we get the respect that we deserve.” He tightened the
screws: “So, you will give us what we want or we will take
it, and that you see, that's not a request, that's a
demand.”

Message sent, Ricochet and the Gates of Agony decked one
more bystander for emphasis before the camera cut away.

Nick Wayne and Kip Sabian Want to End Christian Cage For
Good

Alicia Atout opened by putting last week’s attack front and
center: “Guys, last week we saw you Con-chair-to Christian
Cage, and now that you're standing here with me tonight, I
need to ask the question on everybody's mind. Why did you do
it?”

Kip Sabian bristled at the premise. “Questions? There seems
to be some obsession with why we choose to conduct business
the way that we do, but Christian Cage, you said you
respected us for standing up to you.” He pressed the point:
“But you didn't like it when we questioned why you did what
you did. Well, who's questioning us now? You are questioning
us now. All of you are questioning us now, aren't you?”

Nick Wayne turned the focus squarely to Christian. “It's
typical. Typical, hypocritical Christian Cage, constantly
telling himself lies that he wants to hear, spewing lies
about himself and everyone around him.” He continued, “How
are we supposed to feel fulfilled when all you do is speak
empty lies? If there's one part where you spoke remotely
about the truth last week, it was when you said that I had
every tool in my book to be a star. Where you went
incorrect, is the fact that I'm already a star”

Wayne closed with a warning about what comes next: “I'm a
shooting star that was just now set free to soar, and if any
of you are shocked or questioned as to why we did what we
did to Christian Cage, you ain't seen nothing yet. Our next
chapter is us ending the career of Christian Cage.”

Megan Bayne def. Emily Rose

At the bell, Megan Bayne blasts Emily Rose with a running
kick to the jaw, then hurls her into the corner for a big
splash. Bayne continues the onslaught with a double-
underhook butterfly suplex and climbs to the middle rope to
nail a diving lariat.

Rose answers with an elbow to the jaw and heads up the
turnbuckles, but Bayne cuts her off, snatches her into
position, and drives her down with a Running Powerbomb.
Bayne holds the cover for the three count to seal the win.

Big Bill & Bryan Keith Are Angry and Ready to Do Something
About It

Lexy Nair tried to begin the interview by saying that Big
Bill and Bryan Keith look upset, when Bryan Keith cut in,
making the target crystal clear. “Pissed! Pissed! Juice,
see, I'm mad all the time, but this time you managed to piss
off Big Bill. You put your nose in our business, you put
your hands on Big Bill, you put your hands on me,” Keith
said.

Big Bill picked it up from there: “And then you knocked us
out of the tag team tournament. You crossed one line and
then you crossed another line. That's too many damn lines.
Too many damn lines. So Juice, the next time I see you, I'm
gonna walk a straight line directly at you and rip your head
off. Juice Robinson, you've got exactly what's coming to
you.”

Ricochet def. Juice Robinson

Ricochet plays cat-and-mouse at the bell—out to the floor,
back in, then out again—before chopping Cardblade for good
measure. Austin Gunn chases him off and hoists Cardblade in
celebration. Back inside, Juice sends Ricochet off the
ropes; the shoulder tackle doesn’t budge Robinson. Juice
feints a kick, Ricochet doubles over, and Juice slaps the
top of his head before planting him and hitting a standing
senton for two.

Juice bounces Ricochet’s head off the top turnbuckle, then
the middle, then launches him into the opposite corner’s top
buckle, flipping Ricochet to the mat. A headbutt in the
corner sets up ten punches on the turnbuckles as Toa Liona
appears on the ramp. With the official distracted, Bishop
Kaun yanks Juice down and slams him on the floor, and
Ricochet follows with a tope suicida.

After the break, Juice strings together his signature jabs
and drops Ricochet with a heavy right. When Ricochet tries
to reset, Juice catches him with a leg lariat for two.
Ricochet fires back—counters the leg sweep, ducks the back
elbow, sends Juice to the corner, springboards to the apron
for a kick, then springs back in with a stomp to a seated
Robinson. Ricochet rolls him up for two, but Juice answers
with a hard clothesline for his own near fall.

Ricochet stuns Juice across the top rope twice, then hits a
springboard forearm, a springboard moonsault, and a standing
shooting star press for two. He lines up the Spirit Gun, but
Juice ducks and spikes a Flatliner for a near fall. Juice
kicks to the gut, Kaun jumps on the apron, Austin Gunn yanks
him down, and Toa Liona pounces Gunn into the announce
table. In the chaos, Big Bill storms in and levels Juice—
opening the door for Ricochet to land the Spirit Gun and
score the three-count.

Max Caster Isn’t Here for “Moral Victories”

We see a package recapping the recent interactions between
Max Caster, Anthony Bowens and Billy Gun, before we join Max
backstage with Lexy Nair. Caster rejected the idea that last
week was a “moral victory,” snapping, “No. If anyone had the
moral victory, it was RUSH. He’s the one who survived five
against The Best Wrestler Alive™. RUSH, I took you to your
limit but you didn’t beat me, ’cause you can’t be better
than the best. You just can’t.”

Asked about the post-match attack by LFI and the save by
JetSpeed and AR Fox, Caster says the math tracks: “Right.
And that makes sense too. If you wanna mess with the best,
you need a three on one attack. But JetSpeed and AR Fox?
Thanks for the help. But next time no thanks ’cause you’re
looking live at The Best Wrestler Alive.”

He then pivoted to what’s next: “We’re just gonna continue
it on today. Another open challenge. We’ll see who could
survive.” Then, Max started to get ready: “Lexy, for the
people here in Roanoke, I’m going to warm up right now.”

With that, Caster dropped down to start doing clapping push-
ups while doing his signature chant, then found a randomly
placed giant Nutcracker and started lifting its arm up and
down while continuing to get hyped, leaving Lexy in confused
silence.

FTR & Big Stoke def. Joe Keys, Josh Fuller & Ryan Zukko

Cash Wheeler opens against Joe Keys, testing him with
shoulder tackles that don’t move the big man. Cash switches
gears, takes Keys to the mat, and tags Dax Harwood—telling
Big Stoke to “watch how it’s done.” With the crowd chanting
“We want Stoke!”, Dax backs Ryan Zukko into the corner.
Zukko wrenches Dax’s arm and tags Josh Fuller, but Dax drags
Fuller to FTR’s corner and hammers him down before tagging
in Big Stoke. Fuller snatches Stoke by the collar, sending
Stoke scrambling back to tag Cash. Cash kicks Fuller down
and brings Dax back in, only for Fuller to land an
enzuigiri.

Fuller tags Zukko, but FTR immediately cut him off with the
Shatter Machine. They tag in Big Stoke, who climbs to the
middle rope and spikes Zukko with a Spike Piledriver from
the middle rope. Big Stoke covers for the three-count.

We’re treated to a package recapping the recent run-ins
between Darby Allin and former AEW World Champion Jon
Moxley, with Moxley vowing to make Allin go away for good
after Allin used a bodybagged Wheeler Yuta to issue a
challenge to Moxley for Forbidden Door this week on
Dynamite.

Hechicero def. AR Fox

Daniel Garcia joins commentary for this one. As the bell
rings, Hechicero immediately blasts AR Fox with a big boot,
then mounts him with punches on the mat. In the back, Lee
Moriarty and STP watch on a monitor. Hechicero hits the
ropes; Fox goes for a leapfrog, but Hechicero snatches him
out of the air, slams him down, and hammers the top of his
head with strikes. A chop and an Irish whip follow, but Fox
reverses with chops of his own and a slingblade. Hechicero
bails to regroup; Fox wipes him out with two dives through
the ropes and a flipping dive over the top.

Back inside, Fox heads up for a senton—Hechicero gets the
boots up and Fox eats it. Fox looks for a tornado DDT, but
Hechicero catches him, swings through into a backbreaker,
then crushes him with a rising knee in the corner as we go
to break.

Returning, Hechicero cranks a side headlock until Fox fights
free and levels him with a kick, taking a breather in the
corner. Hechicero misses a cannonball, rebounds off the far
ropes, and crushes Fox with a lariat. Both men reset. Fox
fires back, ducks a clothesline, lands a head kick, hits a
splashing elbow in the corner, and rolls into a cutter. With
Hechicero down center-ring, Fox connects with a swanton for
two.

Hechicero pops up, hits a head-scissors to ground Fox, then
vaults him into a rear chin-lock with a body scissors. The
pressure is immediate. Fox taps, and Hechicero takes the
submission victory.

Harley Cameron Gets Possessed?!

Back from the break, we see a bandaged Harley Cameron
watching highlights of when she was taken out by Penelope
Ford and Megan Bayne. Cameron goes into her closet and finds
the pink mask she’s been seen wearing lately, putting it on
and seemingly transforming a la “The Mask.”

Triangle of Madness (Skye Blue, Julia Hart and Thekla) def.
Queen Aminata, Tay Melo & Willow Nightingale

Aminata and Thekla start fast—Aminata snaps Thekla over and
plants Chocolate Kisses before Skye Blue slides in with a
basement dropkick to break it up. Triangle of Madness swarm
Aminata for a quick triple-team and Thekla covers for one.
Aminata answers with a heavy slap and tags Tay Melo. Julia
Hart tags in for the Triangle; Hart ducks a kick but Melo
lands the follow-up for two. Melo corners Hart and brings in
Willow Nightingale, who hammers away. Thekla rushes in to
pull Willow off; Hart and Thekla try a double suplex, but
Willow powers both over instead.

Blue makes a blind tag on Hart and launches from the top
with a crossbody—Willow catches her, slams her to the mat,
and clamps on a Steiner Recliner. Thekla tries to make the
save but Melo cuts her off; Aminata does the same to Hart.
With Willow holding the chin lock, Melo and Aminata each
grab a wrist and stretch Blue as we head to break.

Back from commercial, the Triangle have flipped it—Thekla
has Willow cinched in a front facelock. Willow makes a tag
the referee doesn’t see, then tosses Thekla down. All six
women pile in; chaos spills bodies to the floor, leaving
Willow and Thekla down in the ring. Aminata and Blue reach
their aprons, and both get the tags. Aminata strings offense
together: snap suplex, running lariat in the corner, and a
spinning neckbreaker for two. Hart saves but gets tossed;
Blue capitalizes with a kick to Aminata’s chin. Aminata
fires back with a headbutt and tags Melo, who runs hot—
clearing all three members of the Triangle and drilling Blue
with a hammerlock DDT for a near fall until Thekla breaks it
up.

Willow wipes out Thekla, but Blue low-bridges Willow to the
outside. Melo sets for a Gory Special; Hart yanks Blue free,
and Hart and Blue immediately hit an assisted uranage on
Melo for the three-count.

SkyFlight Thinks Don Callis Needs a Refund

Backstage, SkyFlight taunts the Don Callis Family, saying
that Callis wasn’t able to ruin SkyFlight’s in-ring debut by
trying to pay off Shane Taylor Promotions. If anything,
Callis should go get himself a refund. So Don, you can keep
shooting, but you better tighten that aim up, because
SkyFlight isn’t going anywhere.

FTR & Big Stoke Rechristen Roanoke

Fresh off their win, sealed by Big Stoke scoring the pin,
FTR and Stokely celebrated backstage. Cash Wheeler led off:
“Hell yes. All the hoes in Roanoke. I think we can
officially call it ‘Hoanoke.’”

Big Stoke picked up next: “I like that. I like that. Adam
Copeland, you saw what I did out there. And guess what? You
did that. You’re the one who turned me into this monster. I
shared my problems with the world, but guess what? Next
Wednesday, they’re all–one of them–will be solved, because
after I beat you, Adam Copeland, I’m gonna make you my
hoe.”

Cash refocused the aim on tag team gold: “And after we are
done with you Adam Copeland, we can focus on what actually
matters: Going and winning this AEW World Tag Team
Tournament, going to Forbidden Door and becoming three-time
AEW World Tag Team Champions.”

Dax Harwood closed with a blunt mission statement: “Yeah, I
understand that we’ve been having a lot of fun and we’ve
been having a lot of laughs, but I wanna get serious right
here for a second. Okay. The most important thing in my
life? Forget my ugly wife. Forget my brat daughter. The most
important thing in my life is the AEW World Tag Team
Championship. The reason I breathe, the reason I live, the
reason I wake up every single day is to become the AEW World
Tag Team Champions. So Brodido, you are a stepping stone.
You are nothing. Okay? You are a stepping stone to The Hurt
Syndicate. And Hurt Syndicate? You like to hurt people, huh?
You ain’t the only ones. Top Guys, out.”

Shibata Does Not “Survive” Max Caster’s Latest Open
Challenge

We go to the ring where Max Caster is on the mic. Caster
credits RUSH for surviving last week, but RUSH couldn’t beat
Caster, because Caster is the Best Wrestler Alive, and you
can’t be better than the best. He then leads the crowd in
his signature chant, giving them credit for being better,
before Caster puts five minutes on the clock.

The man to answer the challenge: Katsuyori Shibata.

Caster pats Shibata’s chest to start, Shibata smacks Caster
to the mat then backs him into the corner with chops. Caster
falls to the ground and crawls to the center of the ring.
Shibata encourages him to get up and kicks him across the
chest, sending Caster crashing down to the mat again.
Shibata grabs Caster by the wrist and connects with three
more kicks to the chest, then sends him somersaulting
backward into the ropes with another. Shibata misses a kick
on Caster against the ropes, allowing Caster to roll him up
for a two count. Caster lands a kick on the chin of Shibata,
who fires up and lands a running knee on Caster in the
corner, then a series of forearms, then a running dropkick
on Caster leaning against the bottom turnbuckle. Shibata
puts Caster into a sleeperhold, takes him to the mat, then
hits the PK for the pin.

After the match, Shibata lifts up Caster for a handshake,
but LFI hits the ring and attacks both men. JetSpeed then
run out, Speedball brandishing a board covered in a chain
and Kevin Knight wielding a hockey stick also adorned with a
chain, chasing off LFI before the start of their trios
match.

AEW World Champion Hangman Adam Page & JetSpeed (Speedball
Mike Bailey and Kevin Knight) def. LFI (RUSH, Dralístico and
The Beast Mortos)

RUSH and Hangman start, exchanging massive forearms in the
center of the ring, then an exchange of chops that thunders
through the arena. Hangman gains the upper hand, but The
Beast Mortos kicks Hangman in the upper back as Page bounces
off the ropes. All three members of LFI hit the ring to beat
on Page, but JetSpeed neutralize Beast Mortos and Dralístico
as Hangman and RUSH continue to go at it.

Hangman takes RUSH to the outside, then climbs to the top
for a moonsault to the floor, wiping out RUSH. Back in the
ring, RUSH counters an Irish whip by Hangman and kicks a
ducking Page, then tags in Dralístico. Dralístico lands big
overhand chops on Page. Dralístico hits the ropes, but Page
answers with a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker. Hangman tags in
Speedball; Knight and Speedball double-team Dralístico,
hitting a double gourdbuster followed by double dropkicks.
Knight exits to his corner, Dralístico takes Speedball to
LFI’s half of the ring, and LFI unload triple-team offense
as they crush Speedball in the corner.

RUSH tags back in and taunts Hangman before grounding
Speedball with an arm drag, taking him to the corner as RUSH
tags in Beast Mortos. Mortos maintains the advantage until
Speedball counters a charging Mortos in the corner, allowing
Speedball to tag Knight. Dralístico comes in only for Knight
to fend him off, then Knight hits a scoop slam on RUSH,
followed by a dropkick on RUSH. Knight charges Dralístico in
the corner and takes him off the top rope with a
hurricanrana, then dives to the outside to take out both
Dralístico and RUSH as we go to commercial.

Back from the break, Knight kicks out of a two-count from
RUSH. As Knight recovers, RUSH goes to punch Hangman, who
ducks out of the way, giving Knight time to take RUSH down
and tag Hangman. Hangman comes in with his hair on fire,
taking RUSH down with a pump kick to the jaw after bouncing
off the ropes. Hangman takes RUSH into the corner and beats
him down with forearm shots. The Beast Mortos tries to make
the save, but Hangman throws him onto the apron, then takes
out Dralístico with a fallaway slam. Hangman kips up and
slingshots to the outside to take out Beast Mortos. RUSH
tries to take advantage of the chaos to charge Page, but
Hangman lifts RUSH up for a Death Valley Driver and a two-
count.

Hangman lifts RUSH up and goes for the discus lariat, but
RUSH counters and tosses Hangman into the corner. RUSH
stomps on Page in the corner and sets up to give Hangman the
horns, but Knight cuts off RUSH. Dralístico then takes out
Knight with a Destroyer before Speedball takes out
Dralístico with a kick to the chest and a standing backflip
knee drop. Beast Mortos throws Speedball off the ropes into
a Samoan drop, only for Hangman to take out Beast Mortos.
RUSH rolls up Hangman for a two-count, then hits a belly-to-
back suplex on Page. Dralístico tags in and takes out
Hangman with a springboard crucifix, but Page kicks out at
two.

LFI triple-team Page, but Knight pulls Dralístico off the
apron, allowing Speedball to level RUSH with a kick to the
chin. Beast Mortos sends both members of JetSpeed to the
outside, then hits an incredible tornillo to the floor to
take out JetSpeed. RUSH then hits a plancha of his own to
keep them down. Back in the ring, Dralístico attempts a
leaping hurricanrana off the top on Page, but Hangman plants
him with a powerbomb and sets up for the Buckshot Lariat.
Beast Mortos tries to make the save—Hangman fends him off.
RUSH tries to stop Hangman—Hangman fends him off. Dralístico
lands a kick on Page, leaving him dazed on the apron.
JetSpeed take out Beast Mortos and RUSH, then wipe them out
on the outside with stereo dives off the top rope. Page
recovers and hits the Buckshot Lariat on Dralístico for the
win.
