WRESTLEDREAM: All Elite Wrestling WrestleDream report

Posted on 10/19/125 by Bob Magee

We were honored to bring you AEW WrestleDream in our return
to the Chaifetz Arena in St. Louis, Missouri, a city rich
with professional wrestling history, on a night that shaped
the future of AEW!

Darby Allin refused to stay down or quit, as he battled
through Jon Moxley, the rest of the Death Riders, and a
horror show of weapons, until the return of Sting helped
settle the score! AEW World Champion “Hangman” Adam Page
needed three Buckshot Lariats to defeat Samoa Joe, but he
was ultimately left laying in a shocking attack by The Opps
after the match.

AEW Women’s World Champion Kris Statlander successfully
defended her championship in her first one-on-one meeting
with “Timeless” Toni Storm, only to be interrupted by TBS
Champion Mercedes Moné during her celebration. Not to be
outdone, Ultimo Moné won her open challenge against Mina
Shirakawa to win the Interim ROH Women’s TV Title and keep
her TBS Title, breaking the record with 11 titles held in
the process.

Meanwhile, Jurassic Express earned their first tag team
victory since reuniting in a win over the Young Bucks that
earned them $500K! The Hurt Syndicate won their rubber match
with The Demand to become the No. 1 contenders to the AEW
World Trios Titles. All that and much, much more came after
the action-packed Tailgate Brawl on Saturday, as well!

Here's everything that happened at AEW WrestleDream and
Tailgate Brawl on October 18, 2025, including your full

AEW Tailgate Brawl: The Death Riders (PAC, Claudio
Castagnoli, Daniel Garcia and Wheeler Yuta) def. Roderick
Strong & The Conglomeration (Orange Cassidy, Kyle O’Reilly
and Tomohiro Ishii)

Roderick Strong wanted the Death Riders, so he started
things off with Daniel Garcia and took it right to Garcia
with chops. He quickly tagged O’Reilly, who entered to
pepper Garcia with kicks, while Strong did the same with
chops until Wheeler Yuta made his way into the match.
O’Reilly tagged out to Orange Cassidy, who tried to suplex
Yuta to no avail. PAC entered to revisit his long-standing
rivalry with Cassidy. After a failed backslide, Cassidy took
control with an arm drag and his patented hands-in-the-
pockets offense.

Castagnoli tagged in for the first time, as the crowd
chanted “ISHII!” OC heard them loud and clear, so he tagged
out to Ishii. Castagnoli and Ishii traded big shots in the
middle of the ring until Ishii was able to outmuscle
Castagnoli for a vertical suplex. Before Ishii was able to
do any more damage, Yuta kicked him from behind. That
distraction was enough to give the Death Riders control, as
they attacked Ishii and knocked all of his teammates off the
apron.

Yuta returned to pick the bones with Ishii stuck in the
wrong corner. Garcia tagged in for a double team, but Ishii
ran through Garcia and Yuta to make the tag to Cassidy! He
dropped Yuta with a Stundog Millionaire and then Garcia with
a side elbow from the top rope! Garcia tagged out to
Castagnoli, who quickly grabbed OC for a big swing. Cassidy
was able to turn that into a sleeper, as the rest of his
team came to stop the Death Riders from breaking it up. With
the ring clear, Castagnoli shifted Cassidy to his shoulders
and brought out the airplane spin! He put Cassidy down hard
while the rest of the Death Riders took out Cassidy’s
teammates, which put them in complete control.

Cassidy had to deal with each member of the Death Riders in
their corner over the next few minutes, until he finally got
free of Castagnoli to make the tag to Strong! Strong hit any
Death Rider that moved and wasn’t missing! O’Reilly made a
blind tag to O’Reilly, as they went to work on Garcia.
Castagnoli stopped the double team and wound up in a back-
and-forth with Strong, but they ended up taking each other
out!

Ishii and PAC paired off in the ring, and PAC quickly put
him down with a rebound German Suplex. Ishii fought back and
was able to get Cassidy’s help with a tornado DDT, allowing
Ishii to hit the sliding clothesline on PAC for a two count.
The match quickly broke down with the Death Riders running
in to clear the ring of Paragon and assault them on the
floor. Castagnoli tried to return, but was knocked from the
apron by an Orange Punch! Ishii turned PAC inside out with a
big lariat and seemed to be in control for a brainbuster,
but Garcia distracted the referee so Yuta could clip Ishii’s
knee. That allowed PAC to hit a huge running knee on Ishii
for the pinfall victory.

AEW Tailgate Brawl: Eddie Kingston & HOOK def. The Frat
House (Griff Garrison and Cole Karter)

Kingston and HOOK wasted no time with their entrance and
went right after Griff Garrison and Cole Karter in the ring
as the bell rang! Kingston and Hook beat the Frat House all
around the ringside area, as St. Louis went crazy! Hook came
back in the ring with a throw on Garrison and tagged in
Kingston. They dropped Garrison with a double shoulder
block, and Kingston prepared to take over with Garrison in
the corner. As he raised his hand for the machine gun chops,
Karter ran down the apron and poked Kingston in the eye.

That gave Garrison the opening to hit a double axehandle on
Kingston from behind and for Karter to tag in the match for
the first time. He hit a beautiful dropkick on Kingston and
brought Garrison back in to continue the advantage for the
Frat House. Garrison hit a splash in the corner and sent
Kingston to the opposite corner for another, but Kingston
was ready with an elbow to the jaw, followed by a shoulder
block from the second rope.

HOOK tagged in and dropped Karter with a leaping
clothesline, followed by an overhead suplex. That gave
Kingston the chance to recover, as he saved HOOK from a
double-team so that they could hit stereo suplexes on
Garrison and Karter. Jacked Jameson made a colossal mistake
when he got up on the apron to yell, so HOOK brought him in
the hard way, and Kingston made Jameson pay with machine gun
chops in the corner. Garrison saved Jameson from further
damage with a shot to the back of Kingston. With HOOK held
by Karter, Garrison went for a spinning forearm, but wound
up hitting Karter when HOOK ducked in the nick of time.

Kingston fired out of the corner with a back heel trip on
Garrison before smashing Karter with the Uraken! Karter’s
lifeless body fell right into HOOK, who locked in REDRUM to
get the victory! As they celebrated, LFI watched from the
crowd.

AEW Tailgate Brawl: Big Boom AJ and Big Justice Interrupted
by the Don Callis Family

We went to Boca Raton, Florida, where Big Big AJ and Big
Justice were hosting their own AEW Tailgate party for
WrestleDream. As they talked about all the matches, Rocky
Romero and Trent of the Don Callis Family showed up to ruin
the fun.

They asked if AJ had found a partner for their upcoming
match at AEW Full Gear next month. Romero went a little too
far talking about Mama Justice, so AJ attacked him and
Trent. Unfortunately, they quickly overwhelmed him in a two-
on-one attack, as Big Justice helplessly watched. Trent
smashed a tray over AJ’s head and finished him off with a
nasty shot to the neck before throwing him back to the
arena, as a weeping Big Justice tended to his father.

AEW Tailgate Brawl: Willow Nightingale & Harley Cameron def.
Megan Bayne & Penelope Ford

Cameron and Ford began things for their respective teams,
with Cameron gaining an early advantage by pounding Ford on
the mat with punches before going for a quick pin that
didn’t even get a two count. Nightingale made a blind tag,
which earned a big reaction from the crowd, as she quickly
put Ford down with a shoulder block, and she took a moment
to pose for the adoring crowd. Nightingale continued to
punish Ford in the corner with nine clotheslines and a
short-arm variation, as the crowd finished the count to 10!
Ford kicked out of a pin attempt, so Cameron returned to the
match on a tag and corralled Ford in the corner with
alternating attacks. Cameron hit a basement dropkick for a
one count, as Ford scurried to the corner to tag Bayne for
the first time. The crowd wanted Willow in, and they got it,
so these two powerhouses could face off!

Bayne missed two big shots, but got some help when Ford
kicked Nightingale in the back, although Willow was ready
when Bayne tried to attack, rolling her up for a two count.
Nightingale rolled into another pin attempt with a cradle,
but Ford broke it up. They tried to double-team Willow, but
she ran through a double clothesline attempt and took both
Bayne and Ford down with one of her own. Cameron tagged back
in and hit stereo enzuigiris with Willow. They showed some
great chemistry when Nightingale carried Cameron into a
wheelbarrow splash, but Ford wasn’t legal, so the focus
returned to Bayne. They tried to execute a double-team
suplex, only for Bayne to show off her strength by reversing
it into a suplex on both Nightingale and Cameron! Ford
tagged in and hit a picturesque moonsault from the top to
take out Cameron and Nightingale on the floor!

Cameron was isolated from Willow for an extensive beating
from both Ford and Bayne, including Ford’s step-up moonsault
from Bayne’s back! Bayne returned to the match and continued
the assault in the corner, as Cameron was in a bad way.
Somehow, Cameron reversed a tilt-a-whirl slam into a tornado
DDT, and the window was back open to tag Willow, and she
did!

Willow unleashed on Ford with clotheslines until Bayne came
to save her teammate, but Nightingale was ready for it and
cartwheeled away! Nightingale sent Bayne off the ropes for a
huge Pounce! Nightingale went back to Ford with a
spinebuster, but couldn’t put her away. Ford escaped a Babe
with the Powerbomb attempt by raking Nightingale’s eyes and
reversing into a hurricanrana. Bayne tagged in and tossed
Ford into an innovative cutter on Willow, but Cameron broke
up the pin attempt. She hit an ugly backstabber on Ford,
only for Bayne to level Cameron with a leaping clothesline.
Nightingale dumped Bayne on her head with a Death Valley
Driver and went back to Ford, but Ford ducked a clothesline
and dropped Willow with a cutter. All four women are down!

Nightingale and Bayne fought up from their knees, with
Nightingale getting the initial advantage before Bayne fired
right back with a clothesline and a big boot, so Willow
answered with a powerful lariat to take Bayne off her feet!
Willow tagged Cameron back in and whipped her to the corner,
but Bayne was waiting with an elbow and then a big boot to
Nightingale before coming off the second rope with a flying
lariat to take both of her opponents down!

Ford tagged in and went to the top for a Doomsday Device,
which is how Bayne pinned Nightingale at AEW Collision
Homecoming, but Cameron was ready for it and rolled off
Bayne as Ford came off the top. Cameron moved away from a
charging Bayne, which sent her into the ring post. That
allowed Willow to hit Bayne with a cannonball from the apron
to the outside!. Back in the ring, Ford was waiting for
Cameron with a boot and nearly put Cameron away with an
elevated knee to the face, but Harley kicked out!

“HARLEY!” “HARLEY!” “HARLEY!”

Ford toyed with Cameron, which was a mistake, as Cameron hit
a pump-handle suplex and followed with a big elbow in the
corner. Nightingale tagged in to finish off Ford with a Babe
with the Powerbomb to get the three count!

JetSpeed (“Speedball” Mike Bailey “The Jet” Kevin Knight)
def. FTR (Cash Wheeler and Dax Harwood)

This match actually started on Tailgate Brawl and was still
going on to begin AEW WrestleDream!

It got off to a fast start when FTR attacked JetSpeed from
behind to start the match. They tried to isolate Knight, who
was still in his ring jacket, but he quickly recovered and
tagged Bailey. He went right to the top and nailed Wheeler
and Harwood with a dropkick before going to work on them
with his educated feet. Knight returned, and JetSpeed hit a
pair of dropkicks on FTR, followed by a pair of German
suplexes. JetSpeed clotheslined FTR over the top rope and
quickly followed with stereo planchas! They took a moment to
celebrate with the excited crowd. They continued to fight
FTR on the outside, but the tide turned when Wheeler
catapulted Bailey into the steel steps as Harwood deposited
Knight into the front row.

Similar to what we saw when Knight and Harwood battled on
Collision, Knight had to fight his way out of the crowd by
leaping off the barricade to take out Harwood. He ran up the
apron and dropkicked both members of FTR at the same time!
Knight was fired up!

Back in the ring, Harwood blocked a leaping DDT attempt and
bludgeoned Knight down to the mat with an elbow, punch, and
short-range clothesline in quick succession. Wheeler
returned to go for a double suplex on Knight, but Bailey was
there to catch his partner. Knight grabbed Wheeler, and
Bailey grabbed Harwood, with both looking for vertical
suplexes, only both tandems to go crashing over the top rope
to the outside on opposite sides of the ring in a pair of
dangerous falls!

At this point, WrestleDream was officially underway, so this
match continued from the Tailgate Brawl onto PPV with pyro
going off as all four men battled in the middle of the ring!

Wheeler caught Knight in midair and hit a high-angle
powerslam, but Bailey was waiting for Wheeler with a thrust
kick. Harwood and Bailey swung wildly at each other until
Harwood baited Bailey into a piledriver! Bailey kicked out
with the crowd still buzzing from all the action!

Harwood caught Bailey on the apron and went for another
piledriver, but Bailey escaped with a nasty back body drop.
He added to the punishment by moonsaulting onto Harwood’s
chest with a pair of knees! OUCH!

Wheeler ran at Bailey, so Bailey springboarded to the top
rope as Wheeler slid to the outside only to have Bailey come
crashing down on him and Harwood with an Asai moonsault in
an unbelievable execution of timing!

“A-E-W!” “A-E-W!” “A-E-W!”

St. Louis loved every second of this and Bailey fed off
them. He sprang to the top rope to hit a shooting star press
on Harwood, who moved, so Bailey rolled through only to be
caught by Harwood in a powerbomb position. Momentum took
them to JetSpeed’s corner, which allowed Knight to make a
tag as Bailey reversed Harwood’s rebound powerbomb attempt
into a hurricanrana. He put Harwood down again with a thrust
kick, which was immediately followed by a rolling UFO splash
from Knight! Bailey held off Wheeler, but Harwood managed to
still kick out!

JetSpeed tried to keep the offense up until Wheeler pulled
Bailey from the ring and sent him into the barrier.
Meanwhile, Knight spiked Harwood with a leaping DDT and went
for the cover, so Wheeler came in to break it up. Knight
threw Wheeler to the outside and was back on the top rope,
but Big Stoke jumped on the apron to distract Knight. Knight
grabbed Stoke, so Wheeler swung wildly at Knight, who ducked
and sent Wheeler and Stoke head-first into each other!
Harwood ran at Knight, who moved, which caused Harwood to
knock Wheeler and Stoke to the floor. Knight took the
opportunity to roll up Harwood, but he kicked out just
barely!

Knight immediately followed with a sky-high powerbomb, and
Harwood kicked out again! Bailey was back on the apron for a
tag, so Wheeler grabbed him for a Gory Bomb on the corner of
the ring! Knight saw this and dropkicked Wheeler through the
ropes.

Harwood recovered in the ring and trapped Knight in a
Sharpshooter! Knight fought his way to the ropes to break
the hold, so Harwood picked him back up and put Knight on
the top turnbuckle as Wheeler climbed up to hit Power and
Glory. Bailey pushed Wheeler down while Knight knocked
Harwood from the top rope. When it appeared JetSpeed would
turn the tables, Wheeler crotched Bailey on the turnbuckle.
Knight came over to help his partner and threw Wheeler over
his shoulder right into Harwood, who also threw Wheeler over
his shoulder, which put them in a perfect position to smash
Knight with a Shatter Machine! Harwood went for the pin, but
Bailey broke it up with a shooting star kneedrop from the
top!

Bailey hit his rapid-fire kicks on Wheeler and went back to
the corner to get the tag. When Knight tagged Bailey,
Harwood was getting to his feet, so Bailey slowed the pace
as he entered the ring, which is atypical of JetSpeed.
Bailey decided to trade chops with Harwood and had a brief
advantage, which he turned into some additional kicks, only
for Harwood to deck Bailey with a big right hand. Bailey got
back to his feet and decided to trade with Harwood again,
this time with open-hand slaps, which seemed like a bad idea
until Bailey transitioned into a thrust kick that sent
Harwood into the corner. Bailey charged across the ring with
a spinning kick to Harwood’s face, so Bailey went to the top
again, only for Harwood to stop him with another right hand.
Harwood met the woozy Bailey on the top rope, and this time
his superplex was successful for Power, but Wheeler crashed
onto Bailey’s knees on his splash attempt of Glory!
Knight was already up to the top rope at this time, so he
went for a UFO, but this time it was Harwood who was ready
with knees to give Knight a bad landing. Harwood
clotheslined Knight over the top and tried to do the same to
Bailey, but Speedball ducked and Harwood nailed Wheeler!
Bailey caught Harwood in a backslide that much of the crowd
thought was three, although referee Paul Turner made it
clear Harwood kicked out in time.

Bailey hit a back heel kick and Toetal Prevention on
Harwood, which should have ended it, but Wheeler made the
save on the pin attempt with no time to spare! As Wheeler
got to his feet, Knight came flying off the rope and all the
way across the ring with a clothesline. Bailey tried to
bring Harwood from the apron back in the ring with a suplex,
only for Stoke to grab Bailey’s leg so that Harwood could
land on Bailey in a pinning position. The referee couldn’t
see Stoke, so he held onto both of Bailey’s feet while
ducking on the outside, so Harwood scored the three count!

The smug look of satisfaction on Stoke’s face told the whole
story, as JetSpeed was stunned in the ring. During FTR’s
celebration, Big Stoke tried to pick a fight with some kids
who were his size and then tried to get them kicked out. As
FTR went up the ramp, Stoke told everyone they were the
greatest tag team alive today!

Tony Schiavone Speaks with Lou Thesz’s Widow, Charlie Thesz

In a wonderful nod to history, Tony Schiavone introduced
Charlie Thesz, the wife of St. Louis pro wrestling legend
Lou Thesz. She was thrilled to be back in St. Louis for the
first time in a while to watch these great matches and the
fans were happy to see her, as she got a big ovation!

Everyone Banned From Ringside: Jamie Hayter def. Thekla

During Tailgate Brawl, we learned that Tony Khan banned
everyone from ringside for this match, so these two would
finally be able to settle this heated rivalry. Hayter came
to the ring with a black robe and red scarf in honor of the
late, great Antonio Inoki, who is celebrated each year at
WrestleDream. She also showed respect to Charlie Thesz
before entering the ring.

Hayter and Thekla wasted no time beating the hell out of
each other, but Hayter won the initial exchange by chopping
Thekla out of the ring. Thekla got back in and caught Hayter
in the ropes, although she wasn’t able to capitalize when
she missed a boot and Hayter dropped her with a big shoulder
tackle. Hayter followed Thekla to the outside and bounced
her off the LED boards, apron, and steel steps before
positioning Thekla in front of Mrs. Thesz for some chops,
which she loved!

Hayter took a little too much time celebrating, which
allowed Thekla to rock Hayter with a big boot. Thekla hit a
huge crossbody to Hayter on the floor and gave Hayter a
taste of her own medicine with a couple of trips into the
LED boards in front of Mrs. Thesz. Thekla took her
opportunity to show respect, but pulled her hand away much
to the displeasure of the St. Louis crowd.

Thekla went for a cocky pin that only got a one count, so
she kicked Hayter in the side of the head and tried for
three more pins with Hayter kicking out each time. Thekla
trapped Hayter in a modified Tarantula over the ropes,
although the referee didn’t have to break the count because
Hayter used her core strength to muscle Thekla back in the
ring and onto her shoulders. Thekla punched her way free,
and Hayter collapsed. Thekla toyed with Hayter and the crowd
with the match well in hand. Hayter tried to strike back,
but one big shot by Thekla put Hayter back down.

Hayter cut Thekla off with a back elbow and shoulder tackle,
followed by a big exploder suplex! Thekla missed a charge in
the corner, so Hayter hopped up to the second rope for a
dropkick that hit the mark, but it only got a two count.
Hayter went for a suplex, but Thekla was able to get out of
it and drape Hayter neck-first on the top rope. With Hayter
staggered, Thekla returned to the top and rolled through
when Hayter moved. The two fought in the opposite corner
with Hayter sitting on the top turnbuckle. She knocked
Thekla down once, but Thekla came right back at her, so
Hayter knocked her into a tree of woe. Thekla rose back up
and waved her finger in Hayter’s angry face, so Hayter
responded by waving her own finger and delivering a headbutt
to knock Thekla back to the mat. Hayter missed a dropkick
from the top, and the two traded kicks until Hayter hit a
neckbreaker across her knee.

The two fought up from their knees with Thekla delivering a
huge shot that appeared to really rock Hayter, but the
former AEW Women’s World Champion fought through it to hit
an open-handed chop and a big boot. She went for a big
lariat, so Thekla ducked and turned it into an octopus
submission! Hayter escaped with a backbreaker, although
damage was clearly done. Thekla jumped on Hayter for a
similar submission, this time on the mat, and Hayter made it
to the ropes to break the hold. Referee Bryce Remsberg tried
to stop Thekla from using her belt, which gave Hayter the
chance to recover to hit a backbreaker across her knee that
got a two count.

Thekla flipped out of Hayter’s grasp and then matrixed away
from a clothesline attempt so she could spear Hayter! Before
the referee could count three, Hayter broke the pin by
getting her foot under the bottom rope. Thekla went into her
spider walk, although Hayter was ready for it and flattened
Thekla with a pair of big lariats, including her signature
Hayterade, to get the victory! Queen Aminata came out to
celebrate with Hayter while Skye Blue and Julia Hart stood
at the top of the ramp on a disappointing night for Triangle
of Madness.

$500K Match: Jurassic Express (“Jungle” Jack Perry and
Luchasaurus) def. The Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson)

We saw an informative graphic with a breakdown of the Young
Bucks' extravagant expenses that left them with a balance of
$32.17 and a warning that they had insufficient funds, so
their transaction was denied. They were forced to make their
entrance with a robotic voice repeating the warning over and
over and a name graphic that called them “The $32.17 Bucks.”
Nick Jackson even stopped to take a picture with a fan who
offered $20!

Jurassic Express made their entrance to create a fantastic
atmosphere, and St. Louis broke out in “Luchasaurus” chants!
“Jungle” Jack Perry started things with Matt Jackson,
although Matt had no problem taking a shortcut so Nick could
tag in. When they went for a double hip toss, Perry avoided
it and took out both Bucks. Luchasaurus tagged in for the
first time and dropped Nick with a big clothesline. Nick
escaped the corner, but made a mistake with a slap to
Luchasaurus’ back, which only angered him. He blocked a
superkick attempt and smashed Nick with an open-handed chop
to the chest. Matt tagged in, and the Bucks tried to double-
team Luchasaurus, but caught Nick in midair and powerbombed
him into Matt!

While Luchasaurus had Matt caught in the ropes, Perry took
off the tag rope and tried to attach it to another corner.
That distracted referee Rick Knox while Luchasaurus bit
Matt! Perry tagged back in, and after both leapfrogged Matt,
Perry nailed him with a dropkick as Luchasaurus knocked Nick
off the apron. The Bucks ran away from Perry on the outside,
but they couldn’t avoid Luchasaurus, who showed off his
ridiculous athleticism with a moonsault from the apron to
take out the Jacksons!

Matt hit a chinbreaker on Perry, which allowed him to tag
Nick. He ran across the ring to pull Luchasaurus from the
apron, but was met with a big back elbow on the floor. Matt
hit a double boot through the ropes to Luchasaurus, only to
get a dropkick from Perry on the way back into the ring.
Perry took out both Bucks with a big dive over the top rope!
He took a few seconds to smile in the moment, as the crowd
was fully behind Jurassic Express!

While Nick argued with the referee in the ring, Perry took a
fan’s Jurassic Express sign and smacked Matt in the head.
Back in the ring, Perry avoided Nick in the corner, but not
a boot from Matt, who caught him in position for Nick to hit
a swanton on the draped body of Perry! On the other side of
the ring, Luchasaurus had Matt by the throat, so Nick helped
his brother with a kick, which allowed Matt to hit a sliced
bread from the guardrail! The Bucks are feeling it, and Matt
went over to smell the bag holding $500K for the winner.

The Bucks kept Perry in their corner to continue the damage
including a double-team guillotine legdrop. Perry fought
through both Jacksons to get out of the corner, but Matt
grabbed Perry’s leg while Nick knocked Luchasaurus from the
apron with a kick to the head. Perry turned into a spear
from Matt, but managed to kick out at two.

Perry remained in trouble after being unable to make a tag,
but he managed to kick out of another pin attempt from Matt
following a DDT. The Bucks sandwiched Perry in the corner
with a kick/clothesline combo and draped him across the top
rope to do more damage. Matt stomped across Perry’s back to
catapult him back into the ring only for Perry to surprise
Nick with a hurricanrana! What a reversal! He avoided Matt
and tagged Luchasaurus!

Luchasaurus ran through the Bucks with a burst of offense
and tried to hit a double chokeslam, but they fought out of
it with a leg trip and kick to the side of the head. While
the Bucks hit their signature pose, Luchasaurus rose back up
to grab them both by the throats again! They escaped and
went for a double superkick, so Luchasaurus ducked and
dropped Matt with one of his own! He snatched Nick by the
throat and turned him head over heels with a chokeslam onto
Matt! He hit a side kick to Nick and tagged Perry back in.
Perry got a boost from Luchasaurus to launch him over the
top into a hurricanrana on Matt. Perry returned to the ring
to hit an assisted cutter from a tombstone position on Nick
for a two count. That was close!

With Perry climbing to the top, Nick escaped from
Luchasaurus and sent him into the ring post, as Perry came
off the top. Nick sacrificed himself to get some extra
momentum on a German suplex aided by Matt. Nick hung over
the top rope to leave Perry completely exposed to a
superkick from Matt. Nick hit another stomp across Perry’s
back, which launched him into a successful powerbomb by
Matt, but Perry had a very close kickout!

The Bucks started to show frustration as they took their
time with Perry. He hung onto the ropes to avoid a double
superkick, but Matt grabbed Perry by the feet on the floor
while Nick hit a step-up kick to the face. Matt put Perry on
his shoulder on the floor, while Nick tried to run down the
apron with a kick to Perry’s face but was caught by
Luchasaurus and now we have a hard-hitting chicken fight!

Matt avoided a chokeslam on the floor by shifting to the
apron, which allowed him to crack Luchasaurus with a kick to
the head and jump over him with a cutter. Back on the apron,
Nick crumpled Perry with a destroyer on the hardest part of
the ring!

In the ring, Nick and Perry fought from their knees,
although with all the damage he took, Perry’s shots didn’t
have much behind them. Matt beat Perry down to the mat and
took a brief moment of paranoia to look at the bag of cash
holding half a million dollars. That hesitation gave Perry
the chance to counter the Bucks and send them head-first
into each other. Perry tried for a hurricanrana over the top
to the floor, but the Bucks were ready and Nick caught Perry
for a powerbomb on the apron! Matt picked up Perry for a
Package Piledriver and hit it as Nick stomped Perry from the
top on the way down! Somehow Perry kicked out!

The Bucks tried to put Perry out of his misery with the BTE
Trigger, but he rolled out of the way and leapt for a double
DDT only to be dropped face-first on the mat. The Bucks
connected on a second BTE trigger attempt, and it should
have been over if not for Luchasaurus’ perfect timing to
break up the pin.

Matt put Perry on his shoulders while Nick scaled the ropes
to hit More Bang for Your Buck, yet Perry was able to slip
out and send Matt into the bottom turnbuckle under Nick.
Perry jumped off Matt’s back to hurricanrana Nick from the
top rope and immediately followed with a release German
suplex on Matt! Luchasaurus chokeslammed Matt, but that
wasn’t enough, so he hit a standing moonsault. Nick tried to
break it up, so Perry jumped over the pin attempt to hit
Nick with a destroyer!

Luchasaurus put Matt on his shoulders and aided Perry to
walk up the ropes for a Doomsday Device, but Matt kicked
out!

“Fight Forever!”

Perry hit a familiar gut punch to Matt and scaled the top
rope while Luchasaurus put Matt in a tombstone position.
Perry hit the flip from the top to spike Matt and Jurassic
Express stole the Bucks’ finisher! It looked like the end,
but somehow Nick broke up the pin at the last second. What a
match!

Jurassic Express set up Matt for Countdown to Extinction,
but Nick broke it up with a superkick on Perry. He went for
another on Luchasaurus, but it was caught and thrown into
Matt’s face! Matt saved Nick from a chokeslam and they hit
double superkicks only for Luchasaurus to shake them off! He
went for a clothesline and Bucks ducked to hit another pair
of superkicks, only this time Luchasaurus went down. Perry
came off the top into two more superkicks and was
immediately flattened by the BTE Trigger! 1-2-HE KICKED OUT!
The Bucks are stunned!

Matt grabbed Perry in the tombstone with Nick ready to flip
from the top rope, only to be chokeslammed by Luchasaurus!
Perry escaped from Matt and spiked him with a Poisonrana!
The Countdown to Extinction worked on the second attempt and
Jurassic Express won to earn the $500K prize!

Jurassic Express had the bag of money and decided to return
to the ring to offer the Bucks a stack. The gesture went for
naught when Josh Alexander, Mark Davis, and Lance Archer of
the Don Callis Family attacked from behind. The Bucks took
that chance to leave the ring, although they appeared
conflicted. Before they made it up the ramp, Kenny Omega
appeared! He tried to get them to help and when they didn’t
move, he dove into the ring to fight three men by himself.
They had him in trouble until Jurassic Express recovered to
make the save! Omega and Jurassic Express cleared the ring
and raised their hands triumphantly!

Tornado Trios No. 1 Contenders Match for the AEW World Trios
Titles: The Hurt Syndicate (Shelton Benjamin, Bobby Lashley
and MVP) def. The Demand (Bishop Kaun, Toa Liona and
Ricochet)

There will be no tags in this match, so The Demand jumped
The Hurt Syndicate during their entrance! Bishop Kaun and
Ricochet isolated MVP in the aisle and sent him into the
guardrail. Meanwhile, Bobby Lashley suplexed Toa Liona on
the floor and threw him into the steps, but Ricochet wiped
out Lashley with a Spirit Gun out of nowhere! Ricochet and
Liona picked up Lashley and sent him into the steps. Liona
trapped Lashley under the steps while Kaun and Ricochet
double-teamed Shelton Benjamin in the ring. Benjamin briefly
fought out of it and trapped Kaun in an ankle lock, although
it didn’t last long since Ricochet was there to deliver a
huge knee to the side of Benjamin’s head. Ricochet hit a
running moonsault on Benjamin, but MVP jumped in the ring to
make the save.

Liona tried to subdue Lashley on the outside while Kaun and
Ricochet worked on MVP in the ring, but Lashley broke free
and pulled Kaun from the ring so he could belly-to-belly
suplex him on the floor. Ricochet dove through the ropes and
connected with Lashley, but it took a shoulder tackle from
Liona to bring Lashley down. Ricochet set up a table next to
the ring steps and put Lashley on it while GOA threw
Benjamin off the stairs through Lashley and the table! The
Demand posed, as they were in complete control of this
rubber match!

MVP found himself in a 3-on-1 disadvantage in the ring, but
refused to go down without swinging away. He landed a few
shots, although it didn’t do much, as he was crushed from
the front and back by short-range lariats from GOA. Ricochet
went for a lazy pin and only got a two-count. MVP continued
to fight back, but was squashed in the corner by all three
members of The Demand, and GOA followed with a
dropkick/Russian leg sweep combo! Ricochet hit a shooting
star press and went for the cover, but Benjamin got back in
to break it up.

All three members of The Demand missed MVP in the corner, as
Lashley was back up to run through both members of GOA on
the outside. Back in the ring, Lashley went to work on
Ricochet and was cut off by GOA until he put them both down
with a DDT/flatliner combo. He went back to Ricochet with a
Dominator, but Ricochet kicked out at two.

Lashley had Ricochet set up for a stalling vertical suplex
from the second rope, so GOA grabbed Lashley and brought him
down as well. MVP nearly stole a pin with everyone down, but
it was another kick out. Kaun pulled out a rare plancha to
save Liona from a 3-on-1 attack. Ricochet kicked Benjamin in
the back of the head and tried to inflict more damage, but
Benjamin was ready for it and launched him over the top with
a German suplex onto GOA and Lashley on the floor! Benjamin
decided that wasn’t enough, so he flipped over the top rope
and took out The Demand!

“WE HURT PEOPLE!” “WE HURT PEOPLE!” “WE HURT PEOPLE!”

Benjamin chased after Ricochet in the ring, so Ricochet
rolled out and Kaun rolled up Benjamin for a two count.
Benjamin came back to flatten Kaun with a thrust kick.
Ricochet took him out and turned back into MVP in the ring,
who slammed Ricochet face-first onto his knee before hitting
the Ballin Elbow. MVP tried to end Ricochet with a
fisherman’s suplex, but Liona broke it up. Liona trapped
Lashley in a Million Dollar Dream, so Benjamin broke it up
with a step up knee and Lashley speared Liona right out of
the ring! Now it was Ricochet stuck in a 3-on-1 situation
until Kaun pulled him out and tried to take on all three
members of the Hurt Syndicate. MVP booted Kaun into the
corner so Benjamin could hit a step-up knee which Lashley
followed with a spear to get the win! The Hurt Syndicate are
now the No. 1 contenders to the AEW World Trios
Championships!

TNT Championship Match: “The Protostar” Kyle Fletcher (c)
def. Mark Briscoe

The fifth match between Fletcher and Briscoe would not only
break their 2-2 tie but also determine who walked out of St.
Louis with the TNT Championship.

The two traded holds in the early going, as they knew each
other so well from their previous encounters. Briscoe
hammered Fletcher to the outside and charged for a dive, so
Fletcher smartly walked away. Fletcher got back in the ring
and celebrated a little too early following a few unanswered
blows, so Briscoe clotheslined him to the floor. He followed
Fletcher out, which sent Don Callis scurrying away from the
commentary desk. Briscoe remained in control with a suplex
followed by the bang bang elbow from the apron. Fletcher got
up with a knee lift to gain some separation, but Briscoe
followed right behind him and sent him back to the outside.
Briscoe produced a chair and set it up near the ropes, so
Fletcher grabbed it only for Briscoe to hit a scissor kick
through the ropes.

Briscoe sat Fletcher in a chair and crashed onto him with a
dive through the ropes! Briscoe tried to keep the pressure
on and went for a cannonball from the apron, only for
Fletcher to move. Fletcher turned the steel steps on the
side and powerbombed Briscoe onto them with a sickening
thud. Fletcher tried to take the countout win, but Briscoe
made it back in time. Fletcher stomped away on Briscoe and
followed with a bodyslam. Briscoe showed a little life until
Fletcher dumped him with a Michinoku Driver for a two count.

Briscoe wouldn’t quit and got into an exchange with Fletcher
that ended with a double clothesline to put both men on the
mat. They returned to their feet and continued to trade
chops all over the ring. Briscoe hit an enzuigiri and
fisherman’s buster, but Fletcher kicked out at two. Fletcher
avoided a Jay Driller with a half-and-half suplex and
followed with a running boot to the jaw of Briscoe. Fletcher
hit a delayed, elevated powerbomb, yet somehow Briscoe
kicked out!

Fletcher hit back-to-back running kicks in the corner, so he
went for the top rope brainbuster. Briscoe floated out of it
and shoved Fletcher across the turnbuckles. Fletcher kicked
his way loose before Briscoe could take advantage and hit a
perfect superplex. Briscoe rolled to the outside, so
Fletcher tried to run down the apron with a kick. Briscoe
caught it, so Fletcher hit another kick and a thrust kick.
Briscoe blocked a brainbuster and hit Fletcher with
dangerous Jay Driller on the apron, sending both men to the
floor!

They returned to the ring, where Briscoe went for a Froggy
Bow and missed, so Fletcher hit a third boot to the jaw in
the corner and put Briscoe back on the top rope. He punched
his way free, leaving Fletcher laying on the top rope, so
Briscoe dropped a Froggy Bow on him! With Fletcher on the
floor, Briscoe hit another Froggy Bow to a staggered
Fletcher. He threw Fletcher back in the ring to hit a third
Froggy Bow, but Fletcher kicked out! Three times was not the
charm for Briscoe!

Fletcher avoided a Jay Driller, which turned into both men
going for pins until Fletcher avoided another Jay Driller
with a pin attempt. Briscoe fought right back and tried a
third attempt at the Jay Driller, yet Fletcher got out of it
again. Briscoe flattened Fletcher with a clothesline and hit
the Jay Driller on the fourth attempt! Fletcher got a single
finger on the rope before the three count to keep the match
going.

Briscoe tried for a cutthroat driver from the top, so
Fletcher grabbed the referee’s shirt to escape. Fletcher
sent Briscoe into the corner, where he stopped just short of
taking out referee Paul Turner, although that allowed
Fletcher to hit an undetected low blow followed by the shear
drop brainbuster! Briscoe kicked out at two! Fletcher can’t
believe it!

As the crowd tried to will Briscoe back into the match,
Fletcher hit a running knee for another two count. Briscoe
will not stay down! Fletcher lawn darted Briscoe into the
turnbuckle before hitting a fourth running kick in the
corner. Finally, a brainbuster on the top turnbuckle was
enough to keep Briscoe down and give Fletcher his sixth
successful defense of the TNT Champion. He was congratulated
by El Clon at the top of the ramp while The Conglomeration
came to check on Briscoe.

AEW Women’s World Championship Match: Kris Statlander (c)
def. “Timeless” Toni Storm

For the first time since February, “Timeless” Toni Storm
entered an AEW Women’s World Championship as a challenger,
as she finally faced Statlander one-on-one for the first
time.

The two went through a lot of mat wrestling early on, as
Storm tried to grind Statlander down, but Statlander kept
powering through it to frustrate Storm. Storm eventually
knocked Statlander from the ring and followed with a hip
attack to the head. Storm went for a DDT from the apron, but
Statlander was ready and turned it into a catapult with
Storm’s face bouncing off the side of the ring. Storm
staggered to her feet as Statlander hit a standing moonsault
to the floor and landed on her feet! The confidence of
Statlander has never been higher.

She launched herself back into the ring with a crushing
senton onto Storm, although it wasn’t enough to put Toni
away. Statlander continued to exert her power by squeezing
the air out of Storm with a body scissors. Statlander hit a
side suplex and a Vader bomb followed by a tornillo from the
bottom rope. Storm took advantage of Statlander’s appeal to
the crowd by hitting a snap suplex to get back into the
match. She went for a choke bomb, but Statlander blocked it
and drove her face first into the mat while twisting Storm’s
neck with a cravat. Statlander missed a knee in the corner,
which gave Storm the chance to hit a tornado DDT and a Tiger
Driver for two count. Storm nailed Statlander with a
hammerlock slam, yet Statlander kicked out again.

Statlander caught Storm on her shoulder and dropped her
face-first onto the mat before locking in a submission.
Storm escaped by getting to the ropes and was able to trap
Statlander in the TCM Chickenwing. Statlander broke the hold
by getting her boot on the ropes. Statlander rolled through
a Storm Zero attempt and tried to kick her way free, so
Storm turned it into a pin attempt and got another two
count.

Statlander hit a short Blue Thunder Bomb and a spinning
Michinoku driver for another nearfall. Storm and Statlander
fought to their feet, but Statlander staggered Storm with a
thrust kick. Statlander went for Staturday Night Fever, so
Storm sent her face first into the second turnbuckle. She
charged across the ring for a hip attack and tried to drop
Statlander with a Storm Zero, but Statlander protected her
neck by posting with her arms! She pushed out of it with a
kick to Storm and hit the 450 splash from the top, but Storm
kicked out!

Storm escaped Staturday Night Fever again to hit a German
suplex and Storm Zero, which connected this time! Statlander
made a very late kickout to keep her title reign alive.
Statlander nearly gave Storm deja vu with the seatbelt pin,
but unlike All Out, Storm kicked out! Statlander hit another
German suplex, but Storm shook it off to hit one of her own.
Statlander shook that off with a discus lariat and finally a
successful Staturday Night Fever. Statlander went back to
her leg submission to choke the life out of Storm yet it
wasn’t enough to put her away. Storm yelled at Statlander to
“kill me,” so Statlander hit another Staturday Night Fever
to defeat Storm and complete her second defense of the AEW
Women’s World Championship. Storm and Statlander hugged
after the match, but gave up the ring for Statlander to
celebrate.

Apparently, that took too much time for Mercedes Moné, so
she came out for her TBS Championship open challenge while
Statlander was still in the ring. The Frat House played the
role of Moné’s title models for her entrance, as she got
into the ring. Moné congratulated Statlander on her victory,
but told her to leave the ring. Statlander left without
incident, so Moné asked what champion was coming out to
answer the call.

TBS Championship and Interim ROH Women’s World TV
Championship Match: TBS Champion Mercedes Moné def. Interim
ROH World TV Champion Mina Shirakawa

Mina Shirakawa answered the challenge, so it would be her
Interim ROH Women’s World TV Championship and Mone’s TBS
Championship on the line!

Just 24 hours after beating Persephone at Arena Mexico to
defend her CMLL World Women’s Championship, perhaps 10 Belts
Moné was fighting fatigue because it was all Shirakawa for
the first few minutes of the match. Shirakawa trapped Moné
in a surfboard and followed with some big kicks until Moné
ducked one and locked in the Statement Maker. Shirakawa
escaped, but Moné stayed on her with a backstabber and a
pair of knees through Shirakawa in the corner, but Mina
kicked out. Moné came back with a meteora for another two
count, and the frustration started to show on her face.

Shirakawa continued to fight back, but was cut off by Moné
again, and she went into the three amigos suplexes. Moné
walked over Shirakawa on her way to the corner for a frog
splash, but changed her mind and mocked Shirakawa. Mina
kicked her off the ropes, so Moné bounced right into another
meteora. Moné decided to go for a frog splash and landed on
Shirakawa’s knees. Shirakawa hit a snap suplex and started
to feel it from the crowd. She locked Moné in a Cloverleaf,
but instead of using it as a submission, Shirakawa
catapulted Moné to a standing position to wrench her knee.
Shirakawa dropped Moné’s knee across the ropes and
springboarded back in with a tornillo for a two count.

Mina went to the top and was successful for a diving
slingblade. She went for the Glamourous Driver only for Moné
to escape. The two jockeyed for position and Shirakawa was
able to hit the Glamourous Driver on the second attempt, but
Moné kicked out at two. Shirakawa locked in the figure four,
so Moné fought through it and rolled to the ropes to break
the hold.

Moné sent Shirakawa hard into the buckles with a sunset flip
powerbomb, but came up empty with another meteora. Shirakawa
saw an opening and leveled Moné with kicks before a spinning
backfist found its mark. She went back to the figure four
only for Moné to escape again and drop Shirakawa on the
middle rope. Moné tried to use the ropes for extra leverage
on the pin, but was caught by referee Stephon Smith. Both
women nearly ran into the referee, but when Mina did it,
Moné put a thumb in her eye and rolled her up for another
two count. She went right back into a Statement Maker, but
Shirakawa kicked off the ropes to get a nearfall. Shirakawa
went back to the figure four, but Moné was ready and rolled
her up for a two count. A Moné Maker put Shirakawa down, but
she was able to get her foot on the rope before the three
count.

Moné was clearly angry and went for another Moné Maker, but
Shirakawa broke free. She ran at Moné, who adjusted into a
backslide with her feet on the ropes to steal the win! She
is now 11 Belts Moné with the Interim ROH Women’s World TV
Title in her collection!

Statlander returned to the ring and Moné took a shot at her,
but Statlander blocked it and hit a Samoan drop. She posed
with her AEW Women’s World Championship as Moné stewed in
the aisle.

AEW World Tag Team Championship Match: Brodido (Brody King
and ROH World Champion Bandido) (c) def. AEW Unified
Champion Kazuchika Okada & IWGP World Heavyweight Champion
Konosuke Takeshita of the Don Callis Family

Takeshita entered first with Callis, while Okada entered
second and alone. The two had a bit of a tense meeting in
the ring before Brodido made their entrance.

Okada and Bandido started things off, as Bandido was covered
in medical tape to protect the shoulder that was injured by
another Callis Family member, Hechicero, two weeks ago.
Okada tried to play mind games with Bandido, but to no
avail, as Bandido was relentless in bringing the fight.
Okada slowed Bandido down long enough to drop an elbow
across his back and tagged in Takeshita.

Bandido gained just enough of an advantage to bring in King
for the first time. These two big men started trading
strikes, but a chop and elbow by King dropped Takeshita in a
heap. Takeshita sent King into his corner, so King knocked
Okada off the apron. Takeshita nailed King with a boot and a
flying clothesline. Okada tagged back in to work over King
in the corner and then a neckbreaker before taking a cheap
shot at Bandido.

Takeshita tagged back in and fired off some big strikes on
King before bringing Okada back in. Okada tried to mess with
King and it just fired him up. Takeshita came in to help,
but King ran through them both and sent Takeshita to the
outside. He floored Okada with a lariat, which brought
Bandido back in for a tornillo from the top onto Okada.
Bandido dropkicked Okada to the outside and kicked Takeshita
off the apron to join him. King came back in to aid Bandido
with an Asai moonsault to Okada and Takeshita! An incredible
risk pays off!

King and Bandido set their challengers up in chairs on
opposite sides of the ring on the outside. First, King
whipped Bandido into Okada, who was smashed into the
guardrail by a flying kick. Then, King hit his trademark
crossbody on the sitting Takeshita and it broke the
barricade in half!

Back in the ring, Brodido double-teamed Takeshita with a
running lariat and an aided splash. Bandido tried once again
to get King to dance and he started to do it, but Okada
ruined the fun by attacking from behind. That mistake put
Okada and Takeshita back in control, so Okada paused to do
his own Macarena. St. Louis didn’t appreciate it.

Takeshita and Okada really started to focus on Bandido’s
shoulder, as they repeatedly slammed it into the turnbuckles
and ring post. Even Callis admitted isolating the injured
Bandido was the gameplan and to be fair, it was working.
Okada dropped a big elbow from the top and started to do his
pose, but that was interrupted by Takeshita landing a senton
on Bandido from the second rope. Okada kept his middle
finger up and Takeshita thought it was directed at him. That
tense discussion gave Bandido the chance to recover and
create enough space to tag King!

As the crowd woofed in support, King unleashed on the
challengers. He nailed Takeshita with a bossman slam and
crushed Takeshita in the corner with Okada on his back! King
smushed both men in the corner with a cannonball, but Okada
managed to kick out to stay alive. Okada escaped King with
an eye rake and got back into the match with a neckbreaker
before collapsing on the mat. Bandido and Takeshita tagged
back in, but Bandido nearly ended it with a Code Red. He
charged at Takeshita in the corner and missed, so Takeshita
threw Bandido with a release German suplex. Bandido pushed
right through the pain and floored Takeshita with a
backfist. He thought it was time for the 21 Plex, but
Takeshita was ready for it and threw Bandido over his head.
Bandido landed on his feet only for Okada to put him down
with a shotgun dropkick. King took down Okada with a
backdrop driver, so Takeshita drilled King with a knee.
Bandido hit a poisonrana on Takeshita, but Takeshita got
right back up and hit one of his own!

King missed a lariat on Takeshita, so he adapted on the fly
and dove into Okada with a cannonball in the corner, but
that carried him into a Blue Thunder Bomb by Takeshita.
Bandido landed on Takeshita with a shooting star press, but
it was only good for a nearfall. Bandido came back with a
hurricanrana for a two count, so Takeshita returned fire
with a big shot across the face. Takeshita dropped his knee
pad and measured Bandido only for Okada to make a blind tag.
Bandido was ready for Okada and reversed a Rainmaker into a
stomp. King tagged in and choked a charging Takeshita over
the ropes. King sent Bandido over the top onto Takeshita and
turned his focus back to Okada. Bandido got back in for the
double team on Okada. Brodido hit a running kick/piledriver
combo, but it wasn’t enough to put Okada away.

Takeshita fought out of another double team and reversed
King to spike him head first on the mat. He showed unreal
strength by hanging on for a wheelbarrow suplex on, but King
found fighting spirit and fired back with a lariat! Bandido
launched himself from the top, but Okada was waiting with a
perfectly-timed dropkick. Okada grabbed a waist lock on
Bandido on the ropes, so Takeshita grabbed Okada to help,
but King grabbed Takeshita and threw all three men over his
head before collapsing out of exhaustion. Callis sprinted to
the apron to slam the mat and wake up his guys.

Bandido got ping-ponged back and forth between Okada and
Takeshita and was in trouble until he ducked Okada’s
Rainmaker, which landed on Takeshita! Okada smiled as he
stared down at Takeshita on the outside! Okada turned back
into Bandido, who dropped Okada face-first on his knee.
Okada blocked a 21 Plex, but King came in to help and
pleaded with Bandido to keep fighting before diving out of
the ring onto Takeshita. Bandido took that encouragement and
hit a one-armed 21 Plex on Okada for the win! Bandido pinned
the AEW Unified Champion!

“Timeless” Toni Storm Still Has Mina Shirakawa

Renee Paquette tried to get a word with “Timeless” Toni
Storm about her future after losing to Statlander, but Storm
remained on the floor without saying a word. Mina Shirakawa
showed up to console her friend, although she was also
downtrodden. Storm finally spoke: “We lost everything.”

Shirakawa reminds Storm they still have each other, so they
embraced in sadness.

AEW World Championship Match: “Hangman” Adam Page (c) def.
Samoa Joe

Joe came to the ring without The Opps. Neither man gained
much of an advantage until Joe shoulder-blocked Page to the
floor and made sure to deliver some trash talk to the AEW
World Champion

Page came back and worked over Joe in the corner. He
followed with a dropkick for a two on Joe. Joe fired off a
big back elbow and followed with a barrage of jabs, as Page
rolled to the floor. Joe followed him out and sat Page on a
chair before violently knocking him off it.

They got back in the ring, where Page was able to fight back
and knock Joe to the floor. Page went to the top, but missed
his moonsault to the floor when Joe walked away. Page got
something back with a dropkick, but Joe was able to get back
in control.

Joe worked over Page in the corner and grabbed a rear
chinlock. Page worked free and ran into a Manhattan drop and
big boot. Joe gets a senton and covers for two. Page laid in
the chops and ran right into a powerslam from Joe. Joe
mocked Page with slaps and kicks. He then landed more jabs,
but Page fired back. They turned to chops. Page hit an
enziguri, and Joe retaliated with a belly to back suplex.
Page rolled through it and got a backdrop driver.

Page kicked him off the apron and went to the top, as Joe
rolled into the ring and Page adjusted and hit a moonsault
for two. Joe gets back with a flurry of kicks to the face
and a powerbomb for a two count. Joe goes through multiple
submissions before Page can get to the ropes.

Page hit a sunset powerbomb from the top for a nearfall! Joe
blocked a Deadeye and kicked Page, but Page yelled at him.
They went to the ropes, but Page ran into the Coquina
Clutch! Page started to fade, but just got a foot on the
rope for the break.

Joe went for the Muscle Buster from the top, but Page
escaped and hit the Deadeye! Joe kicked out at two! Joe was
back up, but Hangman made sure to put Joe away with THREE
Buckshot Lariats to earn the very hard-fought AEW World
Title defense.

Katsuyori Shibata and Powerhouse Hobbs joined Joe in the
ring. Joe shook Page’s hand and raised his hand in victory,
but then The Opps attacked Page!

Joe nailed Page with the AEW World Championship, as Hobbs
and Shibata held Page. Joe finished the attack with a Muscle
Buster on the belt and stepped over Page as The Opps left
the ring. Page was tended to by the medical staff and helped
back up the ramp.

Mercedes Moné Challenges Kris Statlander for Full Gear!

Moné was not happy that Statlander ruined her big night and
record-setting week, so she challenged Statlander for the
AEW Women’s World Championship at Full Gear, with an angry,
“At Full Gear, your title is mine!”

I Quit Match: Darby Allin def. Jon Moxley

Allin laid his AEW flag in the middle of the ring, so Mox
walked right over it, and we were underway! Darby dove onto
Mox on the floor, as the fight continued around the ringside
area. Back in the ring, Mox wrapped a chain around his fist
and went to work on Darby, bloodying Allin’s mouth. He even
pulled back on the chain while it was in Allin’s mouth. He
punished Allin with the ropes and Allin came away with a
bloody ear.

Back outside, Moxley got skewers from Marina Shafir and
stuck them into Allin’s fingers! Allin cried out in pain,
but wouldn’t quit! Moxley tried to beat down Allin, but
Darby kept getting back up. Finally, Allin connected with a
destroyer and grabbed the flag to hang Moxley over the top
rope! Moxley freed himself by poking Darby in the eye. Darby
knocked Moxley from the apron, but missed a Coffin Drop when
Shafir pulled Moxley out of the way.

In the ring, Moxley took Darby’s belt and whipped him with
it. He followed with a piledriver and begged Allin to get
back up. Moxley continued to whip Allin with the belt, but
Allin kept coming back, so Moxley kept whipping him. A big
belly-to-back suplex shut Allin down with Moxley still in
control.

Darby was able to get lighter fluid and sprayed Moxley with
it. Wheeler Yuta and Daniel Garcia hit the ring, so Darby
sprayed some chemical agent in their faces. Moxley wiped
himself clean with a towel and retrieved a taser. Mox and
Darby fought for the taser, but Marina gave Darby a low
blow. Moxley hit a curb stomp and a Death Rider on a chair,
but Allin still didn’t quit.

Moxley choked Allin, so he responded with double middle
fingers. Claudio Castagnoli showed up to throw Allin into
the commentary desk. PAC then put Allin through a table on
the opposite side of the ring.

The crowd chanted, “THIS IS MURDER!”

With Allin in the rubble of the table, Moxley yelled at him
to quit because no one cares about him, but Allin still
refused.

Castagnoli and Shafir brought an aquarium into the ring and
filled it with water. Moxley held Allin’s head under the
water several times, but every time Allin came up, he
wouldn’t quit.

The lights then went out, and when they came back on, it’s
STING!

He choked Moxley with his bat and then nailed Castagnoli and
PAC with it before shattering the aquarium! Sting tossed the
bat to Darby and left the ring, but Shafir stepped in his
way, so he carried her to the back. Darby pointed the bat at
Moxley, and Moxley offered himself up, so after repeated
strikes with the bat, Allin got the flag and choked Mox with
it as he promised. He dropped Moxley with a Scorpion Death
Drop and a Coffin Drop before locking Moxley in the Scorpion
Death Lock, and Moxley quit!

Allin celebrated with the AEW flag as WrestleDream came to a
close!
