The Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic tournament continued last
night on NXT, with the first semi final match now confirmed.
The reigning NXT Tag Team champions, Vanity Project,
defeated AAA’s Mini Vikingo and Chazz “Starboy” Hall in the
first match to advance while Romeo Moreno and Noam Dar
defeated Fraxiom in the second tournament match of the
night.
This means that Vanity Project now take on Moreno/Dar in the
first semi final.
The two other quarter final matches, featuring AAA Tag Team
champions El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr. and Galeno vs Birthright
and The Creed Brothers vs Hank and Tank take place on next
week’s broadcast, with the winners of these two matches
meeting in the second semi final.
