Triplemania was a massive event that featured multiple title
changes including Flammer’s shocking loss to new Reina De
Reinas Champion, La Catalina. Tonight, Flammer’s Las Toxicas
stablemate La Hiedra takes on Faby Apache, so we’ll see if
the former champion gets involved on behalf of her teammate.
After a, frankly, emotional, recap package of the highs and
lows of Triplemania, the actions started with:
El Fiscal vs. Dinámico
Fiscal came out to the ring in his pretty rad Skeletor
outfit that he donned at Triplemania. Two weeks ago. Fiscal
and Dinamico were on opposing teams in a trios match, but
it’s one on one tonight.
Dinamico started with some slams which got him a shove and a
takedown from Fiscal. They worked through some amateur chain
wrestling, but Fiscal put a stop to that with a big boot to
Dinamico’s head. Dinamico came back with a right hand, so
Fiscal sent him to the outside over the top rope.
Fiscal went to dive, but Dinamico met him with a kick and
then a crossbody for two. Dinamico set Fiscal up in the
corner for some stomps and then dragged him out for a two
count. Fiscal elbowed his way back into the fight but
Dinamico met him with some kicks. Fiscal powered up and
started throwing elbows.
Fiscal caught Dinamico with a power slam and then dropped
his costume and flew from the top to flatten Dinamico with a
crossbody. Dinamico came back with a jawbreaker and went for
a top rope cutter, but Fiscal countered into a face-first
slam. Fiscal went up and landed a picture perfect frog
splash to pick up the victory.
Match Result: El Fiscal defeated Dinamico
Next, a recap of Los Perros Del Mal’s defeat of the Psycho
Circus to win the AAA Trios Titles played. Los Perros cut a
promo after that, saying that Triplemania was just a taste
of what they are going to bring down on AAA.
-Back from break, highlights from the Mexico City RAW and
Smackdown shows were shown, as well as Stephanie Vaquer’s
capturing of the WWE Women’s World Title in Chile.
-Backstage, Dorian Roldan was asked what the thought about
Triplemania. He said that he thought it went well, but there
was a lot that was unfair. He also announced that he will be
the one inducting his mother into the Hall of Fame. He also
said that they are going to start an investigation into GM
Rey Mysterio’s actions at Triplemania and make a big
announcement on October 3rd.
-Next some clips from WWE’s new Spanish-language podcast
Ahora with Andrea Basarte and Eduardo Bates talking with
Stephanie Vaquer aried.
-Then Penta cut a short promo from backstage saying that now
that he’s successfully defended the AAA Latin American
Championship, he’s ready to take on all comers.
-Taped remarks from Mr Iguana aired, with Iguana expressing
his sadness about coming up short at Triplemania. He said
that La Parka is his friend, but when it comes to titles,
there is no room for friendship. He vowed to keep
challenging La Parka.
-Nino Hamburguesa, a surprise entrant in the Copa match was
interviewed next. He said that it was great to be back home
in AAA and he’s ready for anything.
-Following that, footage from Triplemania of the betrayal of
Psycho Clown by the coward Pagano aired. It was just as
shocking in a recap.
-Continuing the trend, a recap package of the Rey Mysterio
vs Omos match from Night 1 of Triplemania aired next. The
Copa Bardahl match that Omos won was recapped next.
-Back from break, GM Rey Mysterio gave an update on his neck
injury sustained at the hands of Omos. Rey said that he’s
still not 100%, closer to 70%. Rey said that the Mega
Championship match at Triplemania had to happen and had to
have a clear winner. That’s why he had to step in as GM to
make the count. He said that El Grande Americano winning the
title was the right thing for AAA. He also announced the
card for Worlds Collide:
-Mr Iguana, La Parka, Adalcicous and Mascarita Sagrada will
take on Vanity Project of NXT.
-Dragon lee will take on Jack Cartwheel
-Las Toxicas vs Fatal Influence
-Axiom, Mini Vikingo, Je’Von Evans and EK Prosper will face

Mysterio vs Omos, Dominik Mysterio and JD McDonagh in a
trios match.
-Comments from the new AAA Mega Champion El Grande Americano
were cut short when he started making out with his
girlfriend, which was sweet.
-La Catalina was interviewed about her Reina De Reinas
Championship win. She said that it was amazing and lots of
responsibility to have the title and she is excited for what
comes next. She was interrupted by Roxanne Perez who
promised that she was one step ahead of her and will take
the title at Worlds Collide.
La Hiedra vs. Faby Apache
Apache started the match taking down Hiedra who shrugged her
off and gave her a shove. Hiedra went to head butts, but
missed on a stomp Apache put her in a surfboard and wrenched
back as hard as she could. Heidra broke the hold and slid
out of the ring. Apache followed and Hiedra put her into the
steps.
Back in the ring, Apache kicked out of a cover and Hiedra
sent her to the corner for a hip attack. She charged again,
but Apache hit her with a big boot, sending her topping out
of the ring. Apache hit her with a headscissor takedown on
the outside and threw Heidra back in.
Apache went up top and connected with a crossbody and a
cover, but Hiedra kicked out. Hiedra came up swinging and
planted Apache face-first on the mat for a two count. Apache
jumped up and locked Hiedra’s arm in and they rolled around
until she could cinch in the arm bar. Hiedra managed to get
her foot on a rope to break the hold.
Apache came off the ropes and Hiedra hit her with a very,
very nasty Michinoku driver for a three count.
Match Result: La Hiedra defeated Faby Apache
