Three tag teams have been announced for the 2026 Dusty
Rhodes Tag Team Classic.
These include current NXT Tag Team champions Vanity Project,
former NXT Tag Team champions The Creed Brothers, and AAA
Tag Team champions El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr. and Galeno.
In total, 14 tag teams from NXT, Raw, Smackdown, AAA, and
EVOLVE will be part of this tournament, which returns on
television after an absence of one year.
Women’s tournaments were also held in 2021 and 2022 but
there was no mention for one this year so far.
Tournament winners usually receive an NXT Tag Team title
shot in the future.
