AEW Collision came to MassMutual Center in Springfield,
Massachusetts on TNT & HBO Max for a special tribute episode
dedicated to “The Butcher” Andy Williams. Throughout the
evening, we heard many memories and stories from Andy’s
friends, peers and co-workers. The night came to an
emotional ending when Williams’ friend, Daniel Garcia, won
The Butcher Battle Royale to earn $100,000 to donate to a
charity of his choosing in Williams’ name.
In other action, AEW Continental Champion Jon Moxley beat
“Speedball” Mike Bailey just before the 20-minute time limit
expired in an eliminator match. Later, the Death Riders and
The Dogs got quite a pep talk from Moxley before he joined
the commentary desk to watch them defeat Bang Bang Gang in
an 8-Man Tag Match. Just before that match, “Switchblade”
Jay White beat Adam Priest in a singles contest of his own.
As Austin Creed and Kofi watched from the commentary desk,
The Conglomeration beat ROH World Six-Man Champions The
Lethal Swirl in a fantastic trios match. Commentary was also
blessed by the presence of AEW Women’s World Champion
Mercedes Moné, who watched Queen Aminata beat Mina
Shirakawa!
Here’s everything that went down as we remembered "The
Butcher” Andy Williams on Collision.
In Memoriam: "The Butcher" Andy Williams (1977-2026)
The night began with a 10-Bell Salute for “The Butcher” Andy
Williams, followed by comments and memories shared by a host
of Andy’s friends, peers and co-workers before Tony
Schiavone, Paul Wight and Nigel McGuinness shared their
thoughts on The Butcher before previewing what’s to come
tonight.
AEW Continental Championship Eliminator Match: Death Riders'
Jon Moxley (c) def. "Speedball" Mike Bailey
A calculated Moxley took his time before interacting with
Bailey, and the two traded holds on the mat with neither man
coming away with an advantage. Bailey extended a fist bump
to Moxley for the exchange, so Moxley snatched it only for
Bailey to turn it right back around. They had a break at the
ropes for another stalemate. Moxley tried to keep the pace
slow, so instead of changing the pace, Bailey went with the
flow and continued to wrestle with Moxley. Eventually, that
strategy turned painful when Moxley executed some disgusting
joint manipulation on Bailey’s fingers. Bailey managed to
evade Moxley with his agility and sent him to the floor with
a tejeras. Moxley took a walk to gain some separation before
returning to the ring.
Moxley quickly slammed Bailey and covered for a two-count.
Moxley worked a crossface from behind Bailey before
switching to ripping Bailey’s mouth open. Moxley went back
to joint manipulation, so Bailey kicked his way out of the
corner and jumped up for a missile dropkick. Bailey followed
with a trifecta of kicks followed by a running shooting star
press attempt, but Moxley was ready for it and moved. He
sent Bailey to the floor and tried to charge him at the
steel steps, so Bailey moved, and Moxley’s leg nailed the
steel with a loud clang! Bailey kicked Moxley in the back of
the leg and wrenched the knee even more with a dragon screw.
As Moxley was hobbled, Bailey went to the apron and came
back with The City and Its Uncertain Worlds to clobber
Moxley off the springboard!
Bailey kept control for a short time until Moxley brought
Bailey down to the mat with a butterfly superplex just past
the 10-minute mark. Bailey needed to win or survive the next
10 minutes to earn a shot at the Continental Title. Moxley
won a strike battle with Bailey, so Bailey changed levels
and used his heavy kicks to the back of Moxley’s leg. Bailey
threw a desperation heel kick that connected, but both men
crashed to the mat in exhaustion.
After a brief recovery, Moxley went back to work on Bailey
with mat wrestling until he nearly locked in a rear naked
choke, which Bailey rolled over into a near-fall. Mox ducked
a PK, so Bailey picked his leg and spun him over with a
dragon screw. Bailey smashed Moxley with a moonsault knee
drop, but Moxley was able to kick out just in time! Bailey
tried to turn Moxley over for a Boston Crab, only for Mox to
transition into a cross armbreaker attempt. Moxley couldn’t
get it on all the way, so Bailey was able to roll him over
to another two-count. The escape allowed Bailey to crack
Moxley with a pump kick. Bailey attempted a backslide, but
couldn’t get Moxley over. When Bailey brought Moxley to the
ropes, Moxley broke them apart by hammering down on Bailey.
The tenacious Bailey went right back to Mox on the apron and
hit a dragon screw through the ropes. Bailey followed with a
leg sweep that had Moxley laid out on the apron. Bailey
didn’t waste time and connected with a devastating moonsault
kneedrop!
Bailey got to the top rope with five minutes remaining, but
Moxley moved so Bailey rolled through and tried a high
thrust kick, which Mox avoided. Bailey came back with a kick
to the shin and got a backslide on his second attempt for
the closest two-count of the match! Bailey hit a series of
kicks to a kneeling Moxley, but Moxley avoided the last one
and dropped Bailey with a cutter! Moxley picked up Bailey
for a Paradigm Shift, so Bailey dropped down, and Moxley
couldn’t get him back up with his bad leg. Moxley eye-gouged
Bailey into the corner and backed up for a charge, but
Bailey moved and perfectly executed a roundhouse kick to the
back of Moxley’s head. He rolled Moxley out of the corner,
but Moxley still managed to kick out in time!
Bailey went to the top and hit a shooting star press! Moxley
kicked out! Bailey quickly grabbed a kneebar, but Moxley
managed to make it to the ropes in time. Bailey put Moxley
on the top rope and tried to carry him off for a Flamingo
Driver, but Moxley broke his way free and stuck Bailey with
a Paradigm Shift! Moxley reached down to grab Bailey, who
cradled Moxley out of nowhere for an unreal near-fall!
Bailey trapped Moxley’s arms for another pinning
predicament, which Moxley managed to escape. Moxley was
quick to his feet and stomped Bailey’s head to the mat with
authority! Moxley finished Bailey with The Death Rider to
get the pinfall victory just before the time limit! Moxley
celebrated with Marina Shafir.
After the match, we saw AEW Women’s World Champion Mercedes
Moné making her way into the building. She’ll be on
commentary for Mina Shirakawa vs. Queen Aminata later
tonight!
Nick Wayne Asks Jericho to Show Him a Thing or Two
Wayne repeated Jericho’s words from a recent interaction
when Jericho said, “You don’t know what you don’t know.”
Wayne said experience and knowledge aren’t always enough.
Youth is what matters, but Jericho knows that, and that’s
why he’s threatened by Wayne. And he should be, with
everything Wayne has going for him. Wayne invited Jericho to
show him a thing or two when they go one-on-one on Dynamite!
The Rascalz (Zachary Wentz, Dezmond Xavier and Myron Reed)
def. Soloroto (Aaron Solo and Nick Comoroto) & Griff
Garrison
McGuinness referred to Soloroto and Griff Garrison as “Temu”
Hangman and Brodido. Reed quickly worked over Garrison at
the bell and tagged Wentz, who stunned Garrison through the
ropes back into a kick from Reed. Wentz hit a Codebreaker
that sent Garrison into Reed, who slingshotted Garrison into
a double back-suplex with Xavier. Solo entered and was
immediately triple-teamed with a flurry of offense in the
corner. Wentz tagged in and pushed Comoroto into thrust
kicks from Xavier and Reed before hitting a high knee of his
own. Reed knocked Comoroto next to the ropes, so Xavier
could knock him through with a rolling kick! The Rascalz lit
up Garrison with kicks that sent him to the floor. Reed went
to charge for a dive, so Solo went to cut him off, but Reed
somehow avoided him and jumped back into a cutter! Reed
quickly hit a double crossbody to the outside while Xavier
and Wentz put Solo away with Hot Fire Flame to get the
impressive victory!

Daniel Garcia, Willow Nightingale and PAC all shared their
personal connections with Andy, as we continue to hear from
more of those who were lucky enough to know him.
Queen Aminata def. Mina Shirakawa (with AEW Women’s World
Champion Mercedes Moné on Commentary)
Before the match, AEW Women's World Champion Mercedes Moné
made her way to the ringside area to join commentary for
this first-time matchup of partners. Aminata and Shirakawa
paused to acknowledge the crowd, but immediately locked up,
with neither getting much of an advantage. Shirakawa ducked
under Aminata’s strike attempt and celebrated with her
patented shimmy. Aminata rolled her up for a surprise near-
fall. Shirakawa stopped to give Aminata props and went right
back to colliding. Aminata used her power to put Mina down
with a shoulder block. The two started to get a bit more
heated, and after expressing love for one another, they did
anything but that with a vicious strike battle. The
friendship is on the back burner, and these two are teeing
off on each other! Aminata sent Mina into the corner and
followed with a rising uppercut. Aminata brought Shirakaw to
the middle of the ring for Chocolate Kisses, and Moné seemed
to enjoy it on commentary. Aminata covered for a two-count.
Mina bounced back with a brutal-looking DDT and a tornillo
from the apron to get another two-count. Aminata rolled to
the floor, so Mina went to the top and came down on Aminata
with a big crossbody!
Shirakawa kept the match at her pace following a string of
offense outside the ring, but Aminata was able to hit a
desperation neckbreaker to get things back to even. Aminata
began to build momentum and snapped Mina over with a perfect
suplex. She followed with a nasty facewash into the corner,
and Mina was in trouble. Aminata came down with a double
stomp, but Mina managed to kick out! Shirakawa escaped
Aminata’s suplex attempt and connected on a Glamorous
Driver! 1-2-Aminata kicked out! Shirakawa followed with
kicks until Aminata stopped her with a huge headbutt.
Aminata rushed at Mina near the ropes, so Shirakawa kicked
Aminata in the shin. She followed with a kick to the head
and attempted a figure four, so Aminata kicked her away.
Mina came back off the ropes and tried to roll Aminata into
a cross armbreaker. Aminata rolled through it for a near-
fall, so Mina put her in a figure four! Aminata rolled over,
but Mina rolled back and kept the hold on until Aminata made
it to the ropes. Shirakawa pulled Aminata to the middle of
the ring and tried to use the figure four again, but Aminata
was ready for it and grabbed an inside cradle to get the
pinfall out of nowhere! Shirakawa stayed in the ring to
congratulate Aminata, and the two helped each other out of
the ring following such a hard-hitting affair!
Jon Moxley Gives A Special Pep Talk to The Dogs
PAC started to say that tonight was business as usual for
the Death Riders, but he was interrupted by Clark Connors,
who said that while Kidd might be tagging with PAC and Jon
Moxley against United Empire on Dynamite, tonight, it’s the
four of them against Bang Bang Gang and they have to figure
some stuff out first. David Finlay said Kidd was a Dog long
before he was a Death Rider, so what happened to them being
killers? Finlay said if it was him, he would have used the
weapon to bash Will Ospreay’s skull, but Kidd was stopped by
Moxley. Connors asked what happened to the Gabe that came
back from Japan all fired up? Connors started to say that
every time Moxley says he needs Kidd, Kidd comes running.
But he didn’t say anything more because Moxley jumped out of
his chair and got in Connors’ face.
“I don’t need anything from anybody. I was in the trenches
fighting wars for the future of this sport for kids like you
when you were scrubbing backs in the dojo and popping zits
on Jushin Liger’s back. I don’t do favors for anybody. I
don’t babysit anybody. What we do is show people like you,
kids from nowhere, what hard work can do. People paid their
hard-earned money for tickets to this show tonight here in
Springfield, and they deserve every single thing that you
have. Now, you guys can whine and complain and be me, me,
me, me, me, what about me? Or you can go out there and dog-
walk the Bang Bang Gang! You can show them who you guys are.
You can show them who the Death Riders are every single
night. You wanna do that, or you wanna cry?”
Moxley clapped and walked out, as Kidd was fired up and
said, “Let’s kill then!”
Bang Bang Gang's "Switchblade" Jay White def. Adam Priest
White had the Bang Bang Gang with him ahead of their huge 8-
man tag coming up with The Dogs and Death Riders. White and
Priest exchanged holds to a stalemate, so White backed up to
soak in the “Gunns Up” chants. White hit a pair of shoulder
tackles and pulled Priest down with a headlock takeover.
Priest avoided White coming off the ropes and stuck him with
a dropkick to the corner. White came out with chops, so
Priest answered and sent White to the corner. Priest tried
to send him to the other side, so White put on the brakes
and caught Priest with a DDT to get a near-fall. White
grapevined Priest’s legs and bridged over him to lock in a
neck vice at the same time. Priest managed to get to the
ropes to break it up, and both men wound up going strike for
strike until Priest took White over with a dragon screw.
Priest suplexed White out of the corner, so White kicked up
from his back. They resumed striking in the middle of the
ring until Priest once again got White into the corner.
White got on the ropes to break away from Priest, so Priest
answered with a swinging neckbreaker to get a two-count!
Priest was with White every step of the way. Priest
alternated chops before hitting a DDT. That didn’t keep
White down, so Priest tried to transition into a leg lock,
and instead, White pulled him up for a Blade Runner and
three seconds later, White was victorious
After the match, White had the mic, as Bang Bang Gang
enjoyed some “Gunns Up” chants with the crowd. White
welcomed the Springfield Gang members and let everyone know
that the rest of Bang Bang Gang was ready to go to work
against The Dogs and Death Riders. And if you’re not down
with that, they got two words for ya: “GUNNS UP!”
Death Riders' "The Bastard" PAC & The Dogs (Gabe Kidd, "100
Proof" Clark Connors and David Finlay) def. Bang Bang Gang
(Austin Gunn, Colten Gunn, Ace Austin and "Stray Bullet"
Juice Robinson)
As the Death Riders and The Dogs made their way to the ring,
Jay White and Jon Moxley got into an argument on commentary,
with White throwing off his headset to go after Moxley.
White was stopped by the referee and sent to the back, as
Moxley settled in for commentary while the match began with
all eight men brawling in the ring! Ace Austin was isolated
and stomped by The Dogs and Death Riders before they
continued the offense with attacks in the corner. Finally,
Austin got out of the corner, and it was Finlay who wound up
all alone against Bang Bang Gang for a barrage of attacks in
the corner punctuated by a cannonball from Juice Robinson.
Ace squatted Finlay for 10 reps and stuck him with a Death
Valley Driver!
Bang Bang Gang’s advantage didn’t last long, as Robinson
wound up on the wrong half of the ring without any chance of
making a tag. Robinson finally battled out of the corner and
threw a desperation axe kick to take out PAC. Austin Gunn
tagged in and zoomed around Finlay to take him down with a
neck whip before tagging Colten Gunn. The Gunns were so
quick, it was hard to keep up, as they changed directions to
keep The Dogs guessing with quick, impactful offense. Colten
took down Finlay and PAC with high dropkicks and used a full
nelson slam on Connors, but the pin was broken up. Kidd
broke up a 3:10 to Yuma to save Connors, which set off a
chain reaction of both sides throwing their biggest shots to
take out the other. Robinson dropped Kidd with a series of
punches before Finlay ran into a Left Hand of God. Connors
got the same, but PAC ducked the third attempt and dropped
Robinson with an enzuigiri. Ace tried to escape PAC’s grasp,
so Kidd nailed him with a lariat into PAC’s German suplex!
Moxley couldn’t have been happier with what he was watching.
Kidd tried to psyche himself up by headbutting the
turnbuckles, as everyone got to their feet and started to
brawl once again!
Bang Bang Gang cleared the ring so Ace could flop twist over
the top rope onto Kidd, PAC and Finlay. Back in the ring,
The Gunns hit Connors with 3:10 to Yuma! 1-2-Finlay broke it
up! Austin tried to set up Connors for a Famouser, but was
tripped by PAC from the floor. Kidd and Finlay popped Austin
up for a flapjack, which allowed Connors to get a huge head
of steam for a sprinting spear on Austin for a pinfall
victory.

Tommaso Ciampa is Going All Out in Chicago
Ciampa reminded everyone that it was time for him to become
a “Psycho King” and collect a new title. He’s seen a lot in
2026, including winning the TNT Title in his first match.
Last month, he went All In for the first time.
“I think it’s time to go All Out. I’ll see you in Chicago.”
Non-Title Trios Match: The Conglomeration (Orange Cassidy,
Kyle O'Reilly and Roderick Strong) def. ROH World Six-Man
Tag Team Champions The Lethal Twist (Jay Lethal, Blake
Christian and Lee Johnson)
A busy night of guests on commentary continued with two-
thirds of the AEW World Trios Champions, The New Level!
Austin Creed and Kofi got a huge reaction from Springfield
as they made their way to the desk. Paul Wight was having a
blast dancing with Creed and Kofi before The Conglomeration
made their way to the ring.
Cassidy and Lethal tried to outdo each other and spilled to
the floor. Lethal started to talk to Creed, so Strong came
out of nowhere to break it up with a chop that made Kofi
wince as he looked on from the desk. Back in the ring,
Cassidy continued to avoid and frustrate Lethal until
Christian and Johnson came in to double-team Cassidy. The
Lethal Twist tried to triple-strut, but Strong was having
none of it and chopped Christian and Johnson before chopping
Lethal in the back! He quickly followed that with a
backbreaker across his knee. The New Level accused Wight of
being a back-chopper, but he vehemently denied it.
Cassidy tagged out, so O’Reilly and Strong could hit a
jumping knee combo from the top to Lethal. Cassidy came back
in, but The Lethal Twist managed to turn things around and
isolate him. They cut off multiple attempts to tag out with
triple-teams that picked apart Cassidy. Creed and Kofi were
so impressed by The Lethal Twist and said this level of
competition was why they came to AEW. Cassidy finally broke
free after a Stundog Millionaire on Lethal. O’Reilly tagged
in and cleared the ring with a combination of knees and
strikes before trapping Lethal in an ankle lock. Christian
broke it up with a thrust kick. Strong threw Cassidy into
Johnson and then Christian in the corner before Lethal got
some OC, too! Christian and Johnson stopped any more of
Cassidy and Strong working together with a pair of thrust
kicks. Strong tried to fight off both Johnson and Christian,
but they trapped him for a crossbody/reverse DDT combo,
which Lethal followed with the King’s Elbow. O’Reilly broke
up the pin!
Strong was lit up by a barrage of kicks from Christian and
Johnson, so Cassidy got back in the ring to even the odds.
Strong and Cassidy took things back over when Strong threw
Cassidy into Johnson and Christian for double DDTs! O’Reilly
nailed Johnson with a flying knee from the apron as OC
crashed onto Christian with a dive. Back in the ring, Strong
avoided the Lethal Injection with a Sick Kick and finished
Lethal with End of Heartache to get the three-count and win!
The New Level gave The Conglomeration a standing ovation,
although the two sides had a staredown with a future rematch
likely in play.

Divine Dominion Can’t Believe The Brawling Birds Street
Fight Challenge
Before speaking, Megan Bayne and Lena Kross started messing
with the boom mic and camera, as they were clearly still
furious with AEW Women’s World Tag Team Champions The
Brawling Birds. Bayne and Kross wondered what Jamie Hayter
and Alex Windsor were thinking when they made the Chicago
Street Fight for All Out. Why would they willingly put
weapons in their hands after how they dominated the last six
months?
Daniel Garcia Wins The Butcher Battle Royale (def. Eddie
Kingston, Ortiz, Claudio Castagnoli, Wheeler Yuta, AR Fox,
The Beast Mortos, Jake Doyle, Dante Martin, Darius Martin,
Josh Alexander and Lance Archer)
The battle royale couldn’t even begin in a normal way
because Eddie Kingston and Ortiz started brawling with the
Death Riders on their way down the ramp, which set off
brawls all over the ringside area! Finally, Darius Martin
and Dante Martin took Jake Doyle down with some nifty
double-team offense. They sent Josh Alexander away before AR
Fox joined Top Flight for triple-team offense on Ortiz. The
Beast Mortos ended all that by running through Dante and
Darius. Fox took Mortos over with a Tejares out of the
corner and stayed away from Mortos’ grasp with an array of
escapes before a DDT. Fox tried another off the ropes, but
Mortos was ready for it and threw Fox over the top rope!
AR FOX HAS BEEN ELIMINATED
Kingston and Claudio Castagnoli reignited their forever feud
with a chop battle out of the corner. Ortiz helped out to
put Claudio down with a Russian Leg Sweet/STO combination.
Yuta came over to get involved and even the odds, but when
Garcia joined them, it was too much for Ortiz. Yuta sent him
over the top for the elimination.
ORTIZ HAS BEEN ELIMINATED
The Death Riders turned their attention to Kingston on the
other side of the ring, but he managed to duck under Yuta’s
charge and sent him to the floor!
WHEELER YUTA HAS BEEN ELIMINATED
TopFlight went back to The Beast Mortos, but he fought them
off until they double clotheslined him over the top rope to
the floor!
THE BEAST MORTOS HAS BEEN ELIMINATED
TopFlight hit an array of double-teams to take down
Castagnoli and Garcia before turning their attention to
Doyle. An assisted DDT put Doyle on the ropes, so Dante and
Darius clotheslined him over the top!
JAKE Doyle HAS BEEN ELIMINATED
Castagnoli went to work on Dante and was relentless with his
attack before sending Dante over the top all the way to the
floor with a mean lariat!
DANTE MARTIN HAS BEEN ELIMINATED
Darius tried to get away from Doyle on the apron, but that
distraction allowed Lance Archer to chokeslam Darius onto
Doyle, which caused the elimination!
DARIUS MARTIN HAS BEEN ELIMINATED
Archer and Castagnoli faced off, which brought quite the
buzz from the crowd. They hauled off on each other until it
looked like Castagnoli would clothesline Archer to the
floor. Archer came back with a massive crossbody and tried
to knock Castagnoli to the floor. Castagnoli got on the
ropes to block Archer and jumped back in right into the
goozle of Archer. He broke free and rolled Archer into a
genuine giant swing! A dizzy Archer stumbled to the ropes,
where he was easy pickings for Castagnoli to clothesline him
over the top to the floor.
LANCE ARCHER HAS BEEN ELIMINATED
Kingston and Castagnoli found themselves as the only two
standing and immediately went after each other with a strike
battle that saw Kingston in trouble against the ropes. When
Castagnoli charged, Kingston pulled the ropes down for a low
bridge, but Castagnoli somehow hung on! Kingston finished
the job with a backfist to eliminate Castagnoli!
CLAUDIO CASTAGNOLI HAS BEEN ELIMINATED
Alexander immediately came up from behind and tossed
Kingston over the top rope!
EDDIE KINGSTON HAS BEEN ELIMINATED
We were down to Daniel Garcia and Josh Alexander! Garcia was
fired up! Alexander overpowered Garcia and sent him down to
the mat. Garcia dug deep to battle back and worked Alexander
to the ropes. He tried a pair of running clotheslines, but
couldn’t get Alexander over the top. Garcia amped the crowd
up and tried a third time, so Alexander avoided him and hit
a release German Suplex! Alexander picked up Garcia and
stuffed him with a package piledriver! Alexander picked up
Garcia’s body and threw him over the top, but Garcia managed
to just hang on! Alexander continued the attack with Garcia
trying to stay on the apron. Alexander charged at Garcia,
but Garcia grabbed him in a choke and pulled him over the
top. The two battled perilously on the apron until Garcia
knocked Alexander into a daze with a big boot. Garcia got
back in the ring and bounced off the ropes to deliver a
final boot to Alexander that knocked him to the floor!
JOSH ALEXANDER HAS BEEN ELIMINATED
DANIEL GARCIA WINS THE BUTCHER BATTLE ROYALE!
Garcia embraced Marina Shafir in the ring and celebrated
with a guitar and sign dedicated to The Butcher. Garcia went
to the floor, overcome with emotion, and embraced the Death
Riders. Garcia was a longtime friend of The Butcher’s, which
made the win even sweeter.
The night closed with a video tribute to “The Butcher” Andy
Williams with scenes from both his music and wrestling
career and some of Andy’s most memorable quotes. The entire
locker room came out to the ramp to pay their respects as
Collision came to a close.
AEW Dynamite will be live this Wednesday at 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m.
CT on TBS and HBO Max from the Chartway Arena in Norfolk,
Virginia!
