AEW Collision continued an amazing week at Credit Union of
Texas Event Center in Allen, Texas on TNT and HBO Max, with
the aftershocks of AEW All In: London still being felt and
the road to All Out in Chicago on September 26 already
creating its own waves. Tonight saw many champions tested,
including title defenses for AEW National Champion Andrade
El Ídolo against The Dogs’ Gabe Kidd and TBS Champion
Persephone’s first challenge from VertVixen, featuring Dr.
Britt Baker, D.M.D. on commentary!
With hostilities spilling over from Dynamite, Andrade and
Kidd continued the battle with a lot more on the line. Just
like the main event on Wednesday, Andrade was victorious and
said he would keep his focus on the AEW National Title while
waiting to execute his AEW World Title contract.
Persephone made it brutally clear why she holds both the TBS
Title and CMLL World Women’s Title with a statement victory
over VertVixen. After the match, Baker came off commentary
to join in a post-match attack until former TBS Champion
Maya World and Thunder Rosa arrived to even the odds and
hold the ring!
The Motor City Machine Guns stepped into an AEW ring for the
first time as a tag team and showed their mastery of the
game, taking down two-thirds of the ROH World Six-Man Tag
Team Champions, Blake Christian and Lee Johnson, The Swirl.
Plus, it was an up-and-down night for the Don Callis Family,
with the uneasy duo of “The Protostar” Kyle Fletcher and
“The Jet” Kevin Knight beating Bang Bang Gang in the main
event while Brian Cage and Jake Doyle threw everything they
could at the Young Bucks, but ultimately fell to the three-
time AEW World Tag Team Champions in the opening contest.
All that and so much more made it a sizzling Saturday night
in Texas for Collision!
The Young Bucks (Matt Jackson and Nick Jackson) def. Don
Callis Family's Brian Cage and Jake Doyle
Our opening contest brought a pair of Callis’ behemoths to
face Matt and Nick Jackson, with the Bucks now three weeks
away from the 3-Way Ladder Match for the AEW World Tag Team
Championship against Christian Cage and Adam Copeland and
FTR at All Out! Cage and Doyle decided they didn’t want to
wait for the Bucks to finish their entrance and attacked
them before the bell while Matt and Nick were saluting the
crowd on the turnbuckles! This was off to an inauspicious
start for the Bucks.
Nick got sent to the floor, and Matt was taken down by a
double-shoulder block. Cage and Doyle punished Matt in their
corner with no escape thanks to repeated boots, and the
crowd booed Doyle’s attempts to rile them up. Matt ran Doyle
into Cage and floated over a pair of back suplexes before
escaping Doyle and Cage one more time to finally make the
tag to Nick! Nick came off the top with a double crossbody
and quickly continued his flurry with a springboard
wristlock armdrag/tijeras combination! The Bucks hit stereo
hurricanranas and mounted punches before working Cage and
Doyle out of the corners for the bulldog high-five, but
instead they were both dropped with back suplexes! The power
of the heavy-hitters was on full display!
Matt popped Nick into a double dropkick on Cage and Doyle.
The Bucks clotheslined Doyle over the top, and Matt trapped
Cage’s head on the ropes so Nick could knock him to the
floor with a flying kick. The Bucks fired up the crowd and
started to feel the momentum picking up! Matt hit a double
boot through the ropes and then gave Nick a low bridge for a
tope con hilo that took out the Callis Family on the floor!
The Bucks were feeling it, and Nick jumped onto the
commentary desk to get the crowd even more riled up!
Doyle helped turn things around by catching a kick from Nick
on the apron, which allowed Cage to bring Nick back in with
a deadlift superplex! Matt tried to come in, but ran into
the brick wall body block from Doyle. Cage curled Nick like
a barbell before tossing Nick over his head in a throwaway
slam! He flipped Nick over from a pumphandle and Nick ate
all of Cage’s rising knee on the way down!
Nick was completely taken away from Matt on the wrong side
of the ring for an extended period until he hit a
desperation PK to Doyle on the floor and reversed Cage’s
tornado slam into a Canadian Destroyer! That was some
highlight-reel defense into offense! Matt tagged in and
unloaded on Cage and Doyle before dropping Cage with a
Sliced Bread #2 and Doyle with a pump-fake DDT! Nick tagged
back in, and the Bucks went to work in the corners before
successfully connecting on the high-five bulldogs they
missed earlier in the match. Matt and Nick went to the top
in opposite corners and came down with their elbow
drop/senton bomb combination! The Bucks called for a
Superkick Party and started to go to work on Cage and Doyle
with a barrage of kicks. Matt tried to lift Doyle for the
Meltzer Driver, but he couldn’t, so Nick helped lift Doyle
into position on Matt. Nick went back to the apron and
springboard flipped into the ring, but Cage caught him and
twisted him into a tornado slam while Doyle broke free of
Matt.
Matt was sent to the corner, but got free of Cage. He nearly
took Doyle over with a hurricanrana from the middle rope,
but Doyle held on and planted him with a sitout powerbomb!
Matt kicked out to keep the match alive! Doyle put Matt on
his back, so Nick superkicked Doyle to help his brother.
They hit tandem superkicks, so Cage came in and caught
Nick’s kick to swing it into Matt! Cage tried to powerbomb
Nick, so Nick rotated through into a facebuster. Cage ate
some more superkicks, and the Bucks set up for the BTE
Trigger, but sensed Doyle was coming and pulled Cage into
Doyle’s body block! Doyle ate a series of superkicks
followed by a BTE Trigger and the Bucks got the pinfall win!
Where Does Former AEW Women’s World Champion Willow
Nightingale Go Next?
Nightingale said at All In she learned that she and Mercedes
Moné are more alike than she realized because they will both
do whatever they can to win. But unlike Moné, she won’t use
any injuries or excuses to justify losing the AEW Women’s
World Title. She’ll get back up and keep fighting.
Nightingale heard what Moné said in her championship
celebration on Dynamite and how Thekla had plenty to say
during her interruption, including that Willow deserved what
she got at All In. Nightingale wonders if they would say
that to her face?
“Hangman” Adam Page & Brodido (Brody King and ROH World
Champion Bandido) def. Braddah Kaimi, LBJ and Vin Parker
This was the first action for Page and Brodido since losing
the AEW World Trios Titles in last weekend’s Trios Roulette
Royale to the eventual and shocking winners, Swerve
Strickland and Austin Creed and Kofi, The New Level! Parker
tried a bunch of chops on King that had no effect, but one
return from King put Parker down on the mat. LBJ and Kaimi
rushed in to get the same treatment. King stacked all three
up in the corner and squashed all three with a splash!
Bandido, Page and King all hit cannonballs before Parker
stumbled out into a Deadeye from Hangman, who held Parker
for a massive lariat from King and a frog splash from
Bandido, who covered Parker to get the blowout victory!
Bang Bang Gang Have Words for The New Level and Don Callis
Family
The entire Bang Bang Gang was backstage with “Switchblade”
Jay White, and The Gunns admitted they were disappointed to
not walk out of Wembley Stadium with the AEW World Trios
Titles, although they acknowledged the new blood in the
division and the champions, Swerve and The New Level.
Robinson brought the conversation back to tonight, where he
made it clear that Kyle Fletcher and Kevin Knight better be
on the same page because he and Ace Austin were closer than
ever. Austin reminded Fletcher and Knight of their title
losses at All In before everyone went Gunns Up.
AEW Women’s World Tag Team Champions The Brawling Birds
Challenge Divine Dominion for All Out
After Dynamite, Alex Windsor and Jamie Hayter were angry
with Divine Dominion after Lena Kross hit Windsor with one
of the titles, which allowed Megan Bayne to finish Windsor
off and win their singles match. The Birds challenged Divine
Dominion to face them in a Chicago Street Fight in a rematch
for the titles at All Out!
“The Prodigy” Nick Wayne def. Komander
Wayne came to the ring with some extra swagger after he left
Jericho down on Dynamite with a low blow. Komander entered
the match with a lot of fanfare following his awe-inspiring
effort in the Casino Gauntlet, which was won when Andrade
pinned Wayne.
Komander and Wayne exchanged reversals in what amounted to a
high-energy feeling-out process before Wayne bailed to the
floor. Wayne came back in and thought a quick shot would
give him the advantage, but Komander sent him to the floor
with a tijeras and called for a dive. Wayne got back in the
ring, so Komander adjusted to a La Magistral for a two-
count. Komander nearly caught Wayne again with a springboard
splash, but Wayne kicked out. Wayne went to the corner, so
Komander followed and pushed through a boot to the face to
stagger Wayne. As Komander turned away to go across the
ring, Wayne yanked Komander down by his mask! He seized the
opening to suplex Komander into the turnbuckles. Wayne
brought Komander to the floor and dropped him on the
commentary desk with a high-angle back suplex! Wayne took
the time to pose on the barricade before sending Komander
back into the ring.
Wayne toyed with Komander, completely changing the expected
flow of the match by systematically breaking Komander down
with repeated shots to the back. Komander had a brief flurry
of offense until Wayne shut it down with a German suplex.
Komander got out of Wayne’s grasp and connected on a series
of quick kicks before spiking Wayne with a springboard
destroyer! Komander rushed to the ropes for a dive, but
Wayne moved, and Komander still had time to adjust for a
springboard somersault plancha! Komander threw Wayne back in
and went to the top rope for Cielito Lindo, only for Wayne
to get his knees up to block it! Wayne covered and only got
a two. Wayne tried to charge out of the corner, but Komander
trapped him in a pinning predicament for another near fall.
Wayne came back with a dragon suplex and attempted Wayne’s
World, which Komander stopped by sweeping Wayne’s feet on
the ropes. Komander came off with a springboard right into a
cutter from Wayne! Wayne leveled Komander with a kick and
finished him with a Prodigy Plex to get the three-count!
After the match, Wayne demanded the referee stop checking on
Komander and raise his hand, so he didn’t see Jericho sneak
in the ring and join in the act! When Wayne realized it, he
tried to get away, but Jericho pulled him into a Judas
Effect! Wayne was laid out, and Jericho earned a measure of
revenge for Dynamite!
The Conglomeration and Konosuke Takeshita Still Have
Championship Plans
Lexy Nair was with Kyle O’Reilly, Orange Cassidy, Roderick
Strong and Konosuke Takeshita in the back and asked where
they go after losing their title matches at All In. O’Reilly
said they’ve been trying to figure that out, as Strong
stormed away. O’Reilly continued and said they won’t stop
until everyone in The Conglomeration has a backpack full of
gold. Takeshita asked if he was in the Conglomeration.
Cassidy said there’s no way anyone will ever know. Takeshita
said either way, he’s not giving up on becoming a champion
because he is The Alpha. Takeshita left, and Cassidy said
he’s pretty cool.
TBS Championship Match: Persephone (c) def. VertVixen
This was VertVixen’s first shot at AEW gold, but it came
against such a dangerous double champion in Persephone, who
had Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D. with her on the way to the ring.
Baker joined commentary for this TBS Title match!
Persephone tried to bully VertVixen into the corner after
the bell; the favor was returned in the opposite corner when
VertVixen wouldn’t let Persephone get away. Persephone came
back with a quick strike and tried to blindly leap over
VertVixen on the other side, only to get pushed right back
into the turnbuckles. VertVixen avoided Persephone in the
corner and took her down with a shoulder block. VertVixen
dropped Persephone and covered her for a two-count. The
crowd chanted for VertVixen, as she has plenty of experience
wrestling in Texas.
Persephone caught VertVixen’s crossbody attempt and threw
her backward with a fallaway slam. Persephone followed with
a stiff dropkick to the side of the head and covered, but
VertVixen kicked out! Persephone stayed on the offense and
began to pick VertVixen apart after a chop block.
Persephone locked VertVixen in a body lock, which was broken
up by a pin attempt. Persephone kicked out and transitioned
to a guillotine choke, so VertVixen rolled over again into a
nearfall. Persephone threw a big right hand, and VertVixen
answered, which turned into back-and-forth until Persephone
connected on a short-arm clothesline for a nearfall.
Persephone sent VertVixen to the corner, but she put on the
brakes and stunned Persephone with a kick to the side of the
head and a rebound kick from the corner.
VertVixen tried to shake the pain out of her leg and
connected on a running boot to the opposite corner. She
pulled Persephone out of the corner with a Blue Thunder
Bomb, but Persephone kicked out! VertVixen was throwing
everything she has at the champion. Persephone rolled
through a sunset flip to hit a shotgun dropkick and snatched
VertVixen up for her devastating Crucifix Bomb to get the
pinfall victory and first successful defense of the TBS
Title.
Baker came in the ring, and Persephone asked if she should
continue the assault, which got Baker’s approval. Persephone
had VertVixen in a camel clutch, so Baker put her glove on
for a Lockjaw, only to be interrupted by the music of former
TBS Champion Maya World!
Andrade El Ídolo and Gabe Kidd Continue Their Worldwide
Rivalry Tonight
Before they meet tonight for Andrade’s AEW National Title,
we took a look at the history between these two, which
actually began in earnest earlier this year in New Japan
Pro-Wrestling, culminating in a match that saw Andrade beat
Kidd to become the #1 contender to the IWGP Global
Heavyweight Title. They mixed it up again in the 10-man tag
on Dynamite and will face off again in the main event of
Collision!
Motor City Machine Guns (Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley) def.
ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Champions The Swirl (Blake
Christian and Lee Johnson)
The Swirl had no change in their typical arrogant demeanor
on the way to the ring, although with Jay Lethal with them,
all three were proud to be ROH World Six-Man Tag Team
Champions. That brought out the Motor City Machine Guns, who
were set to make their AEW tag-team debut!
As the crowd went wild for MCMG, Shelley started things and
drew a line in the middle of the ring for Johnson in a call
to battle. The crowd continued to chant for Shelley as he
outwrestled Johnson until Johnson cut him off with a kick to
the gut. Christian tagged in and stayed on Shelley’s left
arm with repeated attacks. Shelley came back with a big chop
and brought Christian over to Sabin, who tagged in for the
first time. They put Christian down with a pair of back
elbows. Sabin avoided Christian in the corner and grounded
him with multiple takedowns while remaining in control of
Christian’s left shoulder. Christian broke free and managed
to hit a desperation dropkick, although he came up in pain
and tagged out to Johnson.
Johnson took too long lining up Sabin and missed a charge in
the corner, so Shelley tagged back in. They went to double-
team Christian, who avoided the initial attempt only to eat
a huge shot from Shelley! MCMG had Johnson alone, and while
he initially fought both of them off, he got caught in the
middle of the ring by sandwich lariats! Sabin and Shelley
hit sliding dropkicks to The Swirl, and Shelley held the
ropes open for Sabin to take both out with a dive to the
floor!
The Swirl briefly took back control until Shelley managed to
tag Sabin, who immediately went to work on Christian and
Johnson with a flurry of punches. They stopped him
momentarily, only for Johnson to nail Christian with
friendly fire! Sabin kicked off Christian to DDT Johnson!
Sabin ran down the apron to kick Christian on the floor.
Sabin went to the second rope and spiked Johnson with a
tornado DDT. Johnson kicked out to stay alive. Shelley
tagged back in, so MCMG could light up Johnson with kicks
until he was on his knees. He ate a stiff kick to the head
from Sabin, but managed to kick out again on Shelley’s pin
attempt. Sabin tagged in, but Johnson sent Shelley to the
corner and missed a charge. As Shelley walked down the
apron, Christian speared him and dove back through the ropes
to get him again with a twisting press. Back in the ring,
Johnson was able to tag Christian for a splash/reverse DDT
combo on Sabin! Sabin kicked out at two! Johnson and
Christian hit back-to-back splashes from the top, so Shelley
had to dive in to break up the pin attempt!
Shelley was thrown to the floor, and Johnson put Sabin on
his shoulders with Christian on the top rope. Sabin floated
out of Johnson’s grasp and shoved him into the turnbuckles
as Christian jumped over them to the middle of the ring.
Shelley came in and traded standing switches with Christian
until Sabin hit a cutter. Sabin tagged Shelley as Johnson
tried to attack in the corner, but missed and immediately
ate boots from the front and back from MCMG. Shelley put
Johnson on his shoulders, and Sabin scaled the ropes for a
doomsday missile dropkick! Shelley covered,d and Christian
made the save in the nick of time!
Sabin and Shelley annihilated Christian with their
unmistakable cohesion on a series of perfectly placed
strikes that culminated in a boot to Christian from Sabin
while stuck in a chancery from Shelley! Sabin tagged back
in, so he and Shelley could hit the Dirty Bomb Double Death
Valley Driver on Johnson to get their first AEW victory!
“Jungle” Jack Perry is Keeping the Same Goal
Perry said he failed to win the Casino Gauntlet at All In,
but that’s OK because spoiler alert: he will be AEW World
Champion one day, and while some will cheer him on, others
will be filled with rage; he won’t stop until he makes that
happen.
“Until then, my goal remains the same: face the best to
become the best.”
The Demand Have Problems With The New Level and Swerve
Ricochet said All In was a complete nightmare for The
Demand. They got upstaged by a couple of rookies, The New
Level. He’s never even heard of them. Kaun said they have a
singles guy in a tag team, so they aren’t real trios. And
does The New Level mean they are behind Swerve? Liona said
the rookies need to pay their dues by carrying their bags,
bringing them coffee, and bringing the car around! They got
lucky against a real dominant trio. Ricochet said everyone
forgets they are in Demand, and if you don’t follow demands?
You get put down!
AEW National Championship Match: Andrade El Ídolo (c) def.
Gabe Kidd
Kidd was his usual chaotically militant self as he stomped
down to the ring. Andrade was also himself in that he was
the complete opposite, with an entrance fit for The Real
Latino Man. Andrade took plenty of time coming to the ring
with his usual accompaniment of women, making a point to
show off his AEW World Championship contract. Kidd clearly
had enough of the waiting and jumped Andrade to kick-start
this championship matchup.
Kidd clobbered Andrade with a lariat and picked him up for a
brainbuster, which connected! He covered, but Andrade kicked
out to save what would have been an embarrassingly quick
loss. Kidd sent Andrade to the floor and threw the contract
into the crowd. He kicked Andrade from behind and threw him
into the barricade. Kidd pulled at Andrade’s face before
throwing him to the floor. Kidd saw that the contract was
returned to ringside and threatened to throw it again. That
gave Andrade the chance to recover and send Kidd into the
barricade. He bounced Kidd off the commentary desk and
chopped him hard before throwing Kidd back in the ring.
Andrade got a lot of love from the Texas crowd as he
connected on all Three Amigos. Kidd crawled away on the
floor and into a chair, so Andrade came to the steps to face
him. Kidd exploded out of the chair to knock Andrade off the
steel steps. Kidd tried to throw Andrade into the steps, but
Andrade reversed it, and Kidd smashed the steel. Andrade
returned to the ring and removed his pants, much to the
delight of everyone, including Walker Stewart on commentary!
Kidd charged at Andrade and missed, so Andrade was able to
grab him for the elbow drop backbreaker. Kidd kicked out
with defiance at two. Andrade went to the top rope and tried
a frog splash, but Kidd got his knees up! The tide seemed to
swing in Kidd’s favor, but he couldn’t keep the advantage,
and Andrade crushed him with a springboard tornillo to Kidd
on the floor! Andrade took a selfie with Arkady Aura because
he had time and finally made his way towards the ring.
Andrade went up top and missed a moonsault, but followed
with a second attempt that nailed Kidd. Kidd was able to
kick out again! Andrade tried for the knee in the corner,
but took too long and Kidd moved. Andrade was hobbled from
hitting the buckles and turned right into a head-clearing
clothesline from Kidd! Kidd picked up Andrade and flattened
him with a sitout powerbomb! He covered the shoulders, but
Andrade managed to kick out to stay alive!
Andrade backdropped out of a piledriver attempt, which sent
Kidd upside down into the turnbuckles at an ugly angle.
Andrade wasted no time getting to the opposite corner so he
could charge at Kidd and smash him with running knees.
Andrade covered, but it wasn’t enough, and that seemed to
send him into a different zone. Kidd escaped The DM attempt
and cracked Andrade in the throat. Andrade asked for more
and got it, although it was just to lull Kidd into a Día de
los Muertos attempt, which Kidd blocked and turned into a
nasty back suplex. Kidd was unhinged as he repeatedly
slammed his head into the turnbuckles and then stopped to
drop his kneepad. He ran his exposed knee into the side of
Andrade and picked him up, but Andrade broke free only to
eat three elbows. Kidd hit the ropes and bounced right into
a Día de los Muertos from Andrade out of nowhere! 1-2-Kidd
kicked out! Andrade couldn’t believe it, so he quickly
picked Kidd up and dumped him on his head with the DM to get
the three-count and a successful AEW National Title defense.
After the match, Andrade said that now that he has the AEW
World Championship contract, it’s only a matter of time
before he’s AEW World Champion, but he wants to wait for the
right time. He’s going to focus on becoming the greatest
National Champion of all time! He will defend the title
every week.
“You think I cannot do this? I have one question. How you
know?”
Tommaso Ciampa Wants a New Title
Ciampa said every time the plane touches down in Texas, he
thinks of his AEW debut just a couple of hours from here.
From the kiss of death to Mark Briscoe to becoming the first
man in AEW history to win a title in his debut match. He’s
created moments with Kyle Fletcher, Darby Allin, Briscoe,
Jericho and more, but nothing bigger than Wembley Stadium.
45,000 fans singing and humming along as he stepped on the
stage. To the sickos, he sees and hears you. It’s time to
create new moments.
“It’s time the ‘Psycho Killer’ becomes the ‘Psycho King’.
It’s time I collect a new title.”
ROH Women's World Championship Proving Ground Match: Athena
(c) def. Isla Dawn
Dawn was able to wrestle in her hometown last week in
Glasgow, although tonight, the crowd would be behind Texas’
own Athena. Athena offered a handshake for a Code of Honor
and Dawn accepted, so we were underway. Athena mockingly
knocked Dawn to the mat, so Dawn came back with a host of
stiff shots and sent Athena down to the mat with authority.
That woke up the champion, and she took Dawn down to the
floor before kicking her from the apron with a sickening
thud. Dawn fought back on the floor, but Athena threw her
into the barricade twice before sending Dawn back to the
ring. Dawn tried to roll Athena up for a pin, but that only
angered Athena, who rolled through it and kicked Dawn in the
face. Dawn briefly recovered to catch a backslide for a pin
attempt, but Athena escaped and kicked her in the gut. Dawn
turned a suplex attempt into an inside cradle for a
nearfall.
Athena was sent to the corner and tried to kick off the
buckles, but Dawn waited for her with a kick of her own. She
dropped Athena with a teardrop suplex and followed with a
running knee to get a two-count. Athena elbowed her way off
Dawn’s back and knocked her into the corner. Dawn dropped
Athena with a stiff shot and went to the top, but rolled
through on her jump down and got caught by a pair of German
suplexes by Athena. Athena clobbered Dawn with a handspring
clothesline in the corner and went up top to hit a beautiful
O-Face on Dawn to get the win!
Don Callis Family's “The Protostar” Kyle Fletcher & “The
Jet” Kevin Knight def. Bang Bang Gang's Ace Austin & Juice
Robinson
It was main event time, and Knight was out first, although
he didn’t seem thrilled to hear Fletcher’s music, as these
two were clearly not on the same page. The crowd loved
seeing Bang Bang Gang and the guns were up all over the
building!
Austin and Fletcher began things with Austin using his
amazing versatility to take Fletcher down to the mat and
connect with a dropkick. Knight tagged himself in to show
Fletcher how it was supposed to be done. Austin quickly got
Knight into the corner and chopped him before whipping him
to the other side, but Knight reversed it so Austin managed
to somehow trip Knight and kicked him in the back of the
head before rolling him up for a two-count. Knight was
clearly on his heels, so Austin tagged Robinson, who entered
with a shot from the top rope onto Knight’s arm.
Robinson hit a Manhattan Drop/Russian Leg Sweep combo to get
a two-count and taunted Fletcher, which gave Robinson the
chance to tag Austin. They took Knight down, and Austin
dropped his massive leg to get another two-count. He wrapped
his legs around Knight’s body to squeeze life out of him and
kicked Knight in the back of the head. When Austin went to
the ropes, Fletcher decided he had enough and came into the
ring for a release bodyslam! He pointed at Austin to show
Knight what needed to be done. Fletcher and Knight argued
until Knight broke away to knock Robinson off the apron.
They continued to argue until Knight took over on Austin. He
finally put together some offense before bringing in
Fletcher, who continued the one-sided attack.
Knight came back in, and Austin was in trouble until he
nailed Fletcher on the apron and somehow shifted his body
away from Knight to make the much-needed tag to Robinson! He
was a house of fire on Knight and Fletcher. He dropped
Knight and Fletcher walked right into a series of right
hands before Robinson loaded up the Left Hand of God, so
Fletcher ducked and Robinson hit him with a DDT! Knight got
the Left Hand of God instead and Robinson nailed a kneeling
powerbomb for a near fall. Austin tagged back in and went up
top, but Fletcher grabbed his leg. In the confusion, Knight
got free of Robinson and took Austin over with a leaping
hurricanrana!
Knight tagged Fletcher, and they tried a double suplex, but
Robinson caught Austin. Austin and Robinson took down
Fletcher and Knight, and Robinson followed Knight to the
floor with a crossbody! Back in the ring, Austin stomped
Fletcher’s head into the mat and nearly got the pin.
Fletcher got caught in a bridging pin attempt and kicked out
to send Austin to the corner. He missed a running charge,
and Austin bounced out of the corner to crack Fletcher in
the head. Austin called for The Fold and ran right into a
Michinoku Driver! Austin kicked out!
Fletcher picked up Austin for a brainbuster, but got rolled
into another nearfall! Austin hit an enzuigiri and tried to
tag Robinson, but Knight pulled him down and dropped him on
the corner of the ring with the Crash Landing! Austin went
to the apron and hit Knight with a kick, but when he jumped
back into the ring, Fletcher leveled him with a thrust kick!
Fletcher hit a running boot in the corner and pulled Austin
out for a brainbuster as Knight made a tag. Fletcher went
for the cover, but moved when he saw Knight coming down with
a UFO Splash! Knight covered to get the pinfall win for his
team! Callis entered the ring and raised the hands of both
men, but it was clear they still weren’t much closer as
Collision came to a close!
